Welcome to Knife’s Edge, Alaska, where the four Osprey brothers return from military service with shadows in their eyes and secrets in their hearts. As danger looms, new romances ignite, and these rugged men must fight for love…and survival.

Ace Osprey was born to fly—but a crash stole his wings and left him with scars he refuses to show. Grounded and restless, the former Navy pilot masks his broken pieces with charm and swagger. He swore he’d never get tied down again, but when Dr. May Smirnov walks into Knife’s Edge with secrets in her eyes and fire in her heart, Ace finds himself pulled into a storm he can’t outmaneuver.

May came to Knife’s Edge to hide, not to burn. The small-town doctor keeps her past locked away, but Ace Osprey is a temptation she can’t ignore—infuriating, magnetic, and far too good at peeling away her walls. Their chemistry is combustible, but in a town where women are turning up dead under the endless summer sun, desire might be as dangerous as the killer stalking the shadows.

When May becomes the next target, Ace has no choice but to fight for more than just survival. Protecting her means risking his heart—and the closer they get, the more certain he is that she’s the one thing he can’t afford to lose. In Knife’s Edge, love isn’t safe…but some passions are worth the danger.

This is a well-written, entertaining, fast paced, romantic suspense novel. It has a likable, intelligent, strong and capable female protagonist, a kind and caring male protagonist who suffers from PTSD, a sizzling romance, wit, supportive friends and family, murder, mystery, suspense, an unexpected twist, and a gratifying conclusion. This is the third entry in Ms. Zanetti's fabulous Knife's Edge, Alaska series, and it is best when read in order for continuity. Her loyal readers will appreciate the nod to her Laurel Snow series. I am looking forward to reading the next installment with great anticipation. I listened to the audio book, and the narrator, Ms. Ava Flynn, does an outstanding job bringing the characters to life.

Burn of Summer by Rebecca Zanetti
Knife’s Edge series #3. Romantic suspense, thriller. Can be read as a stand-alone but better as part of the series.
Ace Osprey: Born to fly. Now mentally grounded after surviving a crash and being honorably discharged. He’s not ready to heal so spends his time drinking, and doing minor repairs and tasks for the elderly in Knife’s Edge. He’s chopped enough wood for practically the entire town next winter. He’s helped the emergency crews find missing hikers. But no planes. He simply can’t get near one.
Dr. May Smirnov: Doctor in the small town of Knife’s Edge. She keeps to herself. Sleeps with a gun in the side table and a knife under her pillow. Avoids being in photos from the growing tourist population. No one knows why she accepted the job in the small secluded area of Alaska but everyone is grateful she’s there. Including Ace, who keeps her busy with nuisance treatments from all his mysterious tasks around town. There are definite sparks between the two of them but she’s going to ignore them. She’s a professional. And she’s seen his drinking and flirting around town and doesn’t need that in her life.
Kyle Mercer: Senator in Alaska. The man May ran from. He’s in town for a fishing vacation with his staff and is soon asking May for a date. He subtly threatens the sheriff’s job. He’ll use whatever leverage he can to convince her to return to him.

When a young woman is killed, Ace is one of the suspects. But so are many others. It’s tourist season in Alaska where people have been hiding for years in the remote regions for their own reasons. How do you catch someone that no one sees?

I’ve come to really care for these Knife’s Edge residents, from the Osprey brothers and their spouses, to the elderly townsfolk, the young entrepreneurs, the waitress turned attorney, and even the seldom seen Wildlife Trooper. Stories I can sink into and immerse myself in all the passion, tension and mystery.

Explosive tension. Tightly knit brothers and family. Swoony romance. Steamy passion. Heart-mate love.

I received an early copy to review. I’ll purchase all formats to keep and reread.

Holy Ripped From the Headlines Plot! Rebecca Zanetti has crafted a plot, well at least one of the plot lines, that has me thinking she is clairvoyant. She was definitely channeling Sleezy California Congressman Eric Swalwell as an inspiration for Sleezy Alaska Senator Kyle Mercer. I love when a setting acts like another character and Zanetti's depiction of Alaska and a summer lightning storm is unlike anything I have ever read. Fantastic.

Ace Osprey is a retired Navy pilot who had a near death crash and the aftereffects have really messed with him leaving him unable to fly. He hides behind his charisma and service to those in the community of Knife's Edge, Alaska. Each time he gets injured he takes himself to the pretty new doctor in town to get patched up and it isn't because he needs the medical attention, he just wants her attention, period. The beautiful doctor is resistant to his abundant charm, but even her steel will is showing signs of weakening under Ace's relentless onslaught.

May is hiding in Knife's Edge and is not looking for any involvement, especially not with a charmer like Ace Osprey. When her past shows up in the form of wealthy Alaskan Senator Kyle Mercer, May needs all the help she can get to keep distance between her and Kyle and Ace is more than welling to be her buffer and a whole lot more. But women are being strangled and Ace is the prime suspect. Both victims look like May and Ace is sure she needs protection. Ace will do whatever it takes to keep her safe and win her heart.

First Impressions
Burn of Summer is a continuation of this saga and for the romance in this book to make sense you really need to be reading the previous books first. Not for the plot of the book or the mystery, but the romance won't hit the same if you don't feel the yearning that has been building in previous books. I found it to be just as good as some of the other books in the series. Its not my favorite of the series but it had yearning, heart, thrills of a suspense plot and some spice. There are aspects to this book that felt a bit anti-climatic though and might be a disappointment.

First Line
Ace Osprey was bleeding again.

The Main Protagonists
The Hero: Ace Osprey
The Heroine: May Smirnov

Summary
Ace and May have always had powerful connection and ever since May arrived to the small town in Knife's Edge, they both have yearned for each other but neither of them have acted up on it. But now there is a new danger and Ace is the target of being framed and the love that has been building between Ace and May is coming to a climax. May sees Ace in a way that most others don't. She accepts everything that he gives to her. But when its obvious that May is being a target, Ace will do anything to protect her...

What I Loved
I really loved how easy the relationship between Ace and May felt in this story. It was so laid back and lower inner conflict which I really appreciated. It didn't feel like they needed some crazy drama in this one. We some some important historical facts come to light with May's past. She has been a bit of a mystery up until now and seeing her come alive in this story was very powerful. I was all on board with her character. She is devoted to the community and being a doctor. I love how easily she sacrifices so much of herself for others. How she accepts Ace especially and gives so much to him and takes him as he is. We get some fun banter between the Osprey brothers that was a delight. And I really enjoyed the sub plot with Christian and Amka----definitely was a good mood lighter and just as fun as the main plot of the story and didn't take anything away from it. I appreciated that we got to see a glimpse into a new chapter in their relationship.

What I Struggled With
There were a few things. There was no background information given to the actual relationship between Ace and May that have been building in the previous book. I do think it would have been nice to have had a strong refresher than what was conveyed in the story. There was hardly any focus on the issues with the hero that was very obvious in the previous book. It was very anti climatic in how easy that was resolved. It was just a short little conflict in the third act that felt like the hero deserved so much more focus than what he received. It was such a big issue in previous installments, and I was really hoping that would be more focused on and it was a let down to see it wasn't as much as I was hoping for. Where is the TORTURED HERO that had been teased? LOL

Narration
It was pretty good. Not my favorite narration of the series, but it really conveyed the character dynamics and the actual romance super well.

Overall View
Burn of Summer is a vibrant shot of Alaska that will tantalize and fire up your sense with a delectable mystery and the culmination of beautiful yearning between a ex pilot and a sassy doctor...

The long wait is over. And it’s not an exaggeration I let this one drag out while reading, because it’s another long wait for the final book.

Ace is a charming, classically romantic asshat.
May is a passionate, practical sweetheart.
Their chemistry is so natural.

The story, both mystery and romance, move at a really well-paced clip. And I appreciate Zanetti giving us the broad strokes of the prior books and easter eggs from other series, but not bogging this one down with exposition.

Zanetti is so good at addressing difficult mental health topics through her characters. But the standout in this book is removing yourself from bad situations early. May subtly represents all of the people who are able to extricate themselves from red flag situations before having to become the perfect victim; it’s not glamorous, but it’s smart, and we want to live in a world where it happens more often. Great representation.

Good to be back in small town Knife's Edge with the Osprey brothers.  Ace and May get the romantic spotlight this time. The brothers rally around Ace and May when they both become targets of a murderer.

Enjoyed getting the latest with all the brothers and their significant others. Looking forward to Damien's story next.

As far as I'm concerned, Ace and May serve merely as a prelude to the story I've been waiting for—namely, the one between Stella and Damian. Still, if you want to spend three hours searching for a culprit who blends in perfectly with all the suspects, this book is just the ticket. Plus, it's set in Alaska.

Inoltre é ambientato in Alaska.

If you haven't read any of the Knefe's Edge books by Rebecca Zanetti you should. There are 4 brothers that grew up in the wilds of Alaska. This is the story of Ace. He's a former military pilot that crashed his plane years ago. Today finds him back in Alaska and afraid to fly. May, the cute Dr., helps him get out of the rut. Did I mention a killer?? When Ace gets framed for killing 2 females, everyone is on the look out to kind the real killer. Will they find out who did it?

Read if you like:
🏔 Small-town Alaska vibes
🔥 Protector romance
🪖 Ex-military heroes
💉 Doctor heroine
💞 Slow burn + high tension
🔪 Romantic suspense / serial killer plot

📚 In Knife’s Edge, Alaska, the Osprey brothers are trying to rebuild their lives after military service—but danger isn’t done with them yet. Ace Osprey, a former Navy pilot haunted by a crash that grounded him, has been drifting through life… until Dr. May Smirnov arrives in town. May came to hide from her past, but as a killer begins targeting women who fit her profile, she becomes the next potential victim—and Ace steps in to protect her, whether she wants it or not.

👨 Ace is that classic wounded hero—charming, restless, and masking deeper pain with swagger. His struggle with losing his identity as a pilot adds depth to his character, and watching him slowly find purpose again made him easy to root for. May is strong, capable, and independent, but still carries secrets that shape her decisions. She doesn’t need saving… but she chooses to trust Ace, which makes their connection feel grounded.

💞 The romance builds steadily with plenty of tension. Ace has clearly been interested in May for a while, and once danger ramps up, their dynamic shifts into protective, emotionally charged territory. The chemistry is there, but it leans more toward slow burn with suspense driving the connection rather than purely romance-focused.

👧 The town of Knife’s Edge—and especially the Osprey brothers—continues to shine. The quirky small-town characters, strong family bonds, and sense of community add warmth to the darker suspense elements. Seeing more of the brothers and their evolving stories makes the series even more enjoyable.

✍️ Rebecca Zanetti balances romance and suspense well, with a steady pace that keeps the mystery unfolding alongside the relationship. The serial killer plot adds stakes and urgency, though at times it slightly overshadows the emotional depth of the romance. Still, the combination of danger, healing, and connection keeps the story engaging.

🌟 Burn of Summer is a gripping romantic suspense with a wounded hero, a strong heroine, and a small-town setting full of charm and danger. Not overly heavy, but consistently entertaining—and a solid addition to the Knife’s Edge series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

📲 QOTD: Do you prefer your romances more suspense-driven or emotion-driven? 👀

Another visit to Knife’s Edge Alaska, the Osprey brothers and so many twists and turns I couldn’t put it down!

Ace is the brother who was a Navy pilot, who crashed his plane, and suffering from PTSD breaks out shaking and sweating and doesn’t trust himself to fly anymore. Instead he drinks, gets in fights, always trying to help someone, and ends up in Dr. May Smirnov’s clinic. She patches him up, till the next time. But his frequent visits stirs something for her. She wants to help him.
His brother Brock is the local sheriff, Christian is a wildlife officer, and Damian works security for a very secret agency. The regular characters are so interesting, the weather so unpredictable, there were a couple times when Ace and May are out in the very dangerous elements, I was holding my breath.

A Senator is in town campaigning, but mostly interesting in getting Dr. May to give him a second chance. She knew him in DC, and he is the reason she moved into a tiny town in the middle of nowhere Alaska.
Ace is worried about the attention May is getting from the senator. He cuts down on his alcohol, and is trying the straight and narrow. His brothers are encouraging and helping him.

I literally couldn’t put this book down. This is the third in the series, and I’ve already preordered the next.
An excellent romantic suspense, set in the wilds of Alaska.

📖Genre & Tropes📖 : romance suspense x Alaska setting x small town x badass hero x ex military x damsel in distress x toxic ex x murder plot x spicy

Finally, the third book with Ace and May in the middle of all the murders in Knife's Edge !

This was one of the books I was most eagerly awaiting : FINALLY, the revelations about why May settled in the middle of nowhere (and why she has guns all over her house), and whether Ace will finally get his act together, stop drinking, stop fighting, and start flying again !

And I loved it <3

The plot was incredibly twisted (so many bodies, so many potential suspects …), the creepy little isolated Alaskan village atmosphere is still so addictive (I so want to go be a "horrible tourist" there xD), the characters are so human and endearing (special mention for the "revelation" scene between Amka and Christian which melted my heart <3), and of course the romance was absolutely brilliant (so much tension and cute AND sexy moments BUT also sex scenes that are incredibly steamy but also light and fun … And it really made me realize that it had been a long time since I'd read a less "serious" sex scene with characters who laugh and have fun … And I had missed it !)

In short, a well-crafted, emotionally charged, and suspenseful romance that I absolutely loved ! I highly recommend the entire series, and of course, I'm SUPER EXCITED to get my hands on Damian's book !! The little glimpses we get of Stella are fantastic =)

So, I'm going to reread all the books =)

This review was originally posted on Books of My Heart

Review copy was received from Publisher. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Each book in the series seems to be more fun. Of course, I get to know the world and the brothers more.  There are four brothers raised with military and wilderness experience. we have already had books for Brock and Christian. Now Burn of Summer is Ace.

Ace hasn't gotten a job since leaving the military which is similar to Christian. But for Ace it is that he went down in the last plane he flew and he still has nightmares.  The town would love for him to fly for tourists or supply or medical runs.  In the meantime, he is doing chores for the elderly women in town and playing bridge.

His interest is May  who is the town doctor. She came to the remote area to hide.  She's had no trouble here and loves the area.  Ace has been flirting with her for months. Now as women are being murdered, and she is the killer's type, he has stepped up to help guard her.  She feels she doesn't need it but she likes him and feels more safe with him.

The story progresses as May deals with tourist injuries and worries about the killer.  Ace is dealing with his flying demons. I really enjoyed this. I don't always like quirky characters as I feel they are sometimes unrealistic but I like these quirky characters anyway.  I look forward to the next story in Knife's Edge in October,  Shadows of Fall.

Narration:
I'm not very familiar with Ava Flynn.  I was comfortable with her voices for the characters, so I am pleased to have her continue as the narrator for the series. I appreciated how the performance allowed me to focus on the story.  I was able to listen at my newer 1.75x speed.

I've read both previous books in this series so immediately pre-ordered this one when it came up. I knew it would be Ace's story and I couldn't wait! Now, I'm impatiently waiting for the mysterious Damian's story!
This series is about four brothers and even their backstory is one I'd love to see this author write. After an avalanche destroyed an entire town, a trapper, Hank, found these four boys and adopted them. He didn't know their names, birthdates or anything else, so he made up their names using the alphabet - Ace, Brock, Christian and Damian.
And while each brother is different, they carry the same qualities of not only their physique, but their moral compass and military training.
The first two books featured Brock and Christian. Now it's Ace's turn to face his demons, dare to fall in love and risk everything to regain his life.
Ace has always loved to fly. He was a pilot in the military until a horrific accident grounded him, both physically and mentally.
Dr. May Smirnov is the only doctor in the tiny town of Knife's Edge, Alaska. She was sure her past could never find her there tucked away from civilization, but it did.
The story has plenty of action, mysterious deaths and false accusations. But in the midst of it all, both the lovely doctor and Ace dare to explore their feelings which culminate into steamy sex scenes.
How does it all turn out? I won't tell you, but I will share that I read this book in two sittings and loved all of it! These four brothers are unforgettable characters. But the women who dare to fall in love with them are also uniquely strong characters who form their own bonds that go beyond mere friendship. I loved all of it and highly recommend it if you're a fan of steamy romance set in a tiny town with plenty of danger and action to keep the story moving forward.

It’s been over a year since Ace Osprey survived a naval air crash and returned home to Knife’s Edge, Alaska, with an honourable discharge. He hasn’t flown since. Odd jobs, alcohol, and, since Dr. May Smirnov’s arrival last autumn, an eye raising string of minor injuries mark his days. Knife’s Edge is wild, remote, and intimate. Do the townsfolk notice that Ace’s and May’s gazes linger on one another?

The fishing derby and social media attention from “Thaw of Spring” has increased tourism in Knife’s Edge. A host of characters descend upon them, including Senator Kyle Mercer, May’s ex-boyfriend. He wants to get back together with May. This won’t work for Ace. But, also, a young blonde tourist is found murdered. Another problem for Ace, since he was very publicly defending her the night before her death. There’s a lot for Ace Osprey to confront, just as he realizes that he is ready to make his move for May Smirnov!

I’ve been looking forward to Ace and May’s story since they have been circling each other on the periphery in “Dead of Winter.” Trauma recovery, toxic exes, found family, and brotherhood are some of the intriguing motifs explored by Rebecca Zanetti in this volume. Of these, her treatment of the sanctity and poignancy of brotherhood is the most heartfelt. It is an element that marks her storytelling through all of her major works. Her writing has noticeably matured in the detail and precision of her research and eloquence. To my delight, while she usually stumps me with her murder mysteries, this time I fist-pumped a little when I figured out the truth. This didn’t detract from my joy of reading. The Knife’s Edge series is one of my favourites. Undeniably.

This series gets better and better. Each has its own mystery to solve that is wrapped up by the end, but they also share a larger mystery that is ongoing. That aspect wasn’t very prevalent in this book. It was mentioned and discussed, but there wasn’t a lot of movement. This book had enough of its own drama and intrigue without adding that into the mix.

Ace and May are fantastic. While they don’t know each other all that well, they are constantly drawn together. May feels safe with Ace, and Ace feels at peace around May. Their brains may not understand, but their hearts feel the connection. Their relationship starts softly, but once they both give in to what their hearts want, they dive right in. Ace finally decides to get the help he needs for his PTSD, wanting to be the person May deserves. May learns to trust again and allows herself to open up. It’s great.

The bond between Ace and his brothers grows stronger with each book. They used to be very close as kids, but time and distance have interfered throughout the years. Now, they have banded back together. All in the same place for the first time in a long time. All with their wounds, internal and external. And all with their secrets. It’s very satisfying to see these men start crumbling the walls they’ve inadvertently built between them. They are now almost acting as a single unit in the protection of their town and the people they care about.

I don’t know if the author plans to wrap things up with the last brother, or if we’ll continue to get stories out of Knife’s Edge. I can see it going either way. Either way, I’m looking forward to what’s next.

Those Osprey Brothers
Ace Osprey had a terrible flying accident and the PTSD from it is keeping him from flying. May Smirnov is the doctor for Knife's Edge. She figures that Knife's Edge, Alaska is far enough into the wilderness that no one can find her. Then her ex, Senator Kyle Mercer, comes to town. He wants her back but after he showed violence toward her, she wants no part of him. Ace has protective feelings for May. He might get injured sometimes just to have May fix his injuries. May is trying to keep her feelings toward Ace professional and to fix his injuries without falling for him. Ace is falsely being accused of murder of a young woman who looks similar to May. This is a wonderful book showing the connection between the Osprey brothers. It seems like they find their one and only and don't let anything happen to them. That's how Ace feels toward May. Will he be able to keep her safe? Will he be able to prove his innocence? This is a really good series and each book can be read alone but it's better reading the series in order.

Ace Osprey absolutely steals the spotlight here. His swagger hides a broken core, and watching him fall for May...while fighting both his demons and an external threat...makes for a gripping, emotional ride. Their chemistry is explosive, and the tension between romance and danger keeps the pages flying.

This one got crazy fast! From all the little old ladies calling Ace to do odd jobs and paying pitifully low, to some of the tourist, especially the one that had a connection to May, there was always something to grab your attention.

It sucked that a problem from May's past showed up and how much it threw her off. You could tell this guy was slimey and he had to be at the center of things that were happened, just needed to be proved. It took the whole book before it happened and things got harrowing at the end, from Ace being forced to do something he had been trying to avoid, to the bad guy thinking he was above it all. So glad that at the end, he got his.

The romance between Ace and May was sweet. May fought hard, but in the end her feelings were too much for her, which was a good thing, as these two were cute together.

Loved the celebration at the end and how the whole town was there, perfect happy ending for so many!

Excellent book!

I must say that I am thoroughly enjoying this series. I feel that the writing is engaging, the characters are interesting and complex, and the setting is very unique. I have loved getting to know the Osprey Brothers through these three books and I can't wait for what comes next in the series. The characters are written extremely well and I love the interaction between the brothers and the women they love. Actually, I like the interaction between all of the characters because each relationship is unique whether you're a main character or one of the people from the town it seems every character is important and I really enjoy reading a story like that. I really liked the storyline in this book and some of the things that the characters had to overcome. Overall, another excellent book! I read the story and listened to it on Audible and I feel that the voice actor did a great job with narrating the story. I would highly recommend this series!

what is not to love?

I enjoy all of Zanetti’s books, and this series features rugged Alaska and a small town of Knife’s edge. Of course there are village characters (male and female) who add charm and gorgeous men, especially the four brothers of each book, who fall for equally interesting women. Each character has a past that they need to work through, each character develops in the following book too. Overarching serial killer fuels the mysteries but each book also has a specific mystery pertinent to the pair. I have preordered each of these books and generally wait to read it all at once. I have not been disappointed, and always enjoy reconnecting with their lives. This book also had a larger presence on facebook and received hype from amazon too. Like the maverick series these are considered ‘spicy’ but ‘safe’. Strong men understand no. I still miss Hank who raised these ‘boys’ so read them in order too.

Ace Osprey was a Navy fighter pilot but a crash has grounded him, he hasn’t flown since. He returns home to Alaska where his brothers all live. Dr. May Smirnov has came to Knife’s Edge to hide. She has secrets that no one knows. Ace was drinking a lot but has quit since teaming up with his brother’s girlfriend in a business venture. May’s past has arrived in town and thinks he’s going to get her back. One woman is found dead by the water and Ace just happens to be the last one seen with her. At first May figures one time should be enough with Ace but he is more than just a pretty face. Then Ivy, May’s nurse, doesn’t show up for work and then her body is found. Again Ace gave her a ride home and he is being questioned again. Will they find the real killer before Ace is put in prison?

I believe Ace might be my favorite brother ( so far ). Action. Secrets. Steamy. Will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can’t wait for Damian and Stella’s book.

Burn of Summer by Rebecca Zanetti is the third book in the series called Knife’s Edge, Alaska. The series focuses on four brothers who were found and adopted in Knife’s Edge, Alaska. The Osprey brothers joined the military and the novels are all set after they return to their home town,

Ace was a Navy pilot who no longer flies. He had a huge incident and has not flown since then. He is helpful to many people and has a bit of something for the new Doc in town. Dr. May Smirnov is the new Doc in town. She seems to have secrets from her past, especially moving to a town as remote as Knife’s Edge. Together they are hot.

Meanwhile, women are being murdered causing too many questions for everyone. May’s ex has shown up and was (I think) being creepy. Meanwhile the town was filling up with tourists and the fish were jumping.

The Burn of Summer by Rebecca Zanetti is a fun read.

Burn of Summer is book 3 in the Knife's edge, Alaska series and its as goid if not better than the first two.

Knife's Edge is a small, remote town in Alaska, where everyone knows everyone and there are few secrets. Its tourist season and as always people come in to fish and explore. What they don't count on is murder!

May Smirnov, is the local doctor, this time of year is always busy coupled with the fact that her ex has found her in her small town her stress level goes way up. May thought she was safe.

Ace Osprey, is a retired fighter pilot, he has been battling events in his past but if anyone can bring him out of his funk its May. They have been battling their attraction to one another for months. When murders start happening in their small town he takes it upon himself to keep her safe.

Awesome Series

Rebecca Zanetti is one of my favorite authors and she never disappoints. This is an excellent series and each book has been filled with suspense. Ace is the lead for this story. An ex special forces soldier he suffers from PTSD. He was a pilot but a trauma has kept him from flying. Mae is the doctor in town and Ace is hung up on her. Just as they're getting together her ex shows up. He's a senator who Mae left because of his abusive tendencies. He's after her and she's doing her best to avoid him. Then two bodies show up. Both are young women and the law is trying to pin their murders on Ace. Everything comes to a head when the senator kidnaps Mae. Excellent story and one you will want to read.

I received an Advance Reader Copy of Burn of Summer and wow — I am hooked! 🔥

Knife’s Edge is the kind of small Alaska town that pulls you in completely, packed with mystery, suspense, and characters you can’t help but love. Ace and May might just be my favorite couple in the series so far — their chemistry, tension, and story had me turning pages nonstop!

Romantic suspense usually isn’t my go-to genre, but this series has completely won me over. It’s exciting, addictive, and so well done that I am fully invested in this town and all its people. If you love mystery and romance, this series is a must-read!

True Osprey

This story made me want to savor the reading of it more than most. The characters of Knife's Edge are truly just that - characters! They are good to the last drop. As I circled around figuring the whys, when, and where; I'll admit I got a little tangled trying figure out things. I gave up and actually read the story!!!!!!!
It was wonderful! I kinda, almost wish I could visit Alaska. Then I shudder and shake off the feeling. I'm very happy in South Carolina!!!!!!!
Thank you, Rebecca for another fabulous story! Keep 'em comin'!

Ace and May

I have been looking forward to this story since the beginning of the series. The fire between Ace and May was obvious from the start and their book didn't disappoint. The mystery of who was murdering young women had me guessing whodunit multiple times, then changing as new info came to light. I love how it all came together!

Another fun aspect was the mention of the Kayrs family as well as Laurel Snow and Huck Rivers. The crossovers are wonderful! Highly recommended.
