Niels Hammer takes the reader on a poetic prose journey through a kaleidoscopic landscape of philosophical metaphysics and then take us swimming in a tropical sea of metaphysical philosophy. These poems are the stuff dreams are made of long before they are dreamed. Surreal moments frost reality’s cake with stardust and diamonds. The psyche becomes a willing pawn as invisible robotic arms turn the pages and churn the hot buttered streetlamps in the mind into brand new moments and candles them down into the malleable wax of the synaptic highway that maps out the path we travel. This book is salve for the soul and magic for the mind. Truly a great book that will stand the tests of time. ~ Candice James, Poet Laureate Emerita, New Westminster, BC and author of “Behind the One-Way Mirror” and “The Depth of the Dance”
