The Fine Print of a Kiss

Rate this book
He needed a fake girlfriend for one week. She needed a miracle to save her dream. The contract they signed had rules, but it said nothing about the fine print of a kiss.

★★★★★ "I devoured this in one sitting! The perfect blend of witty banter, emotional depth, and sizzling chemistry." - Amazon Reviewer

Ava Rosewood has a recipe for her own bakery, filled with the scent of browned butter and her grandmother's love. But when the bank rejects her loan, her dream is about to crumble. Desperate and out of options, she gets an offer that's too good—and too crazy—to refuse.

Liam Blackwood is a billionaire architect who designs flawless, empty skyscrapers and lives a life just as cold and controlled. To land the biggest contract of his career, he needs to project an image of "family values," and that requires a loving girlfriend he doesn't have.

The deal is Ava will play the part of his adoring partner for one week. In return, he'll give her the money to make her dream a reality.

Their rules are ✓ Public displays of affection only. ✓ No personal questions. ✓ And absolutely, under no circumstances, are they to fall in love.

But as they're forced into a world of fake smiles and shared secrets, the lines between the performance and reality begin to blur. He's the grumpy, logic-driven architect, and she's the sunny, passionate baker. They couldn't be more different, yet the chemistry between them is an uncalculated risk that threatens to demolish all their carefully constructed walls.

He was supposed to be her client. She was supposed to be his employee. But in a world of blueprints and contracts, they're about to discover that the most important designs are the ones you can't draw, and the most binding clauses are the ones written on the heart.

Fans of grumpy-sunshine, fake dating, and forced proximity tropes will fall in love with this steamy, heartfelt standalone romance. One-click now for a story that proves the best things in life are never part of the plan!

Ava and Liam are two people in need. Ava needs money to open her bakery, Liam needs a fake girlfriend for a week if he wants to land the largest architectural contract of his career. They need each other.
what goes from a necessity turns into something more. But even Ava can't make Liam take down the massive walls he's built from the deceit of his last love.
Or is she?

Exceptional love story

The writing in this book was so descriptive that it transported me into the story. The love depicted was absolutely heart-warming and the bridges that were built throughout were a solid foundation for their love. Very well done!!

This is book 2 I’ve read from this authority and initially thought it was the second book in a series that could be read as a stand alone however Goodreads says its book 1 so I think I might be wrong. I found this to be much better than the first one, which I had still enjoyed. This story has amazing character development and the descriptive writing places you in the moment. There were a few repeat statements or paragraphs towards the ending but I thought it was beautifully written.
