Powerfully emotive

This book of dark poetry pulls no punches. The author’s emotions translate from paper so well that I found myself having to take a little break halfway through. I’m not one to be affected by literature, but the rawness of this collection hit pretty hard.

the loss of. loved ones, in her own words

This book of poems brings the reader into the grieving thoughts of someone who has lost three people in her life, all of whom died young. But the latest loss, her sister, who was such a close friend, tipped the author to a point that she needed to express herself using poetry.
The book stays with the same theme throughout, expressing the emotions so many people can relate to.
With vulnerability, this book reads like a journal of poems, giving the reader an invitation to raw emotions.
This book is an incredible addition to the Within Her Thoughts book series.
