This novel was advertised where I found it as haremlit, but it's pretty much pure erotica thinly wrapped in a bare bones plot. And the plot is pretty much "MC has sex with various beast women".
The MC is a man who is nearly crippled with anxiety around human women that has been playing a beta version of a Virtual Reality MMO based on an "ecchi" (porn) card game. One the first day the game goes live as a non-beta game, it pulls a Sword Art Online trope where all people logged into the game are permanently logged in unless someone beats the game. Upon opening his starter card packs, it turns out he's basically a sex mage of sorts. His attack cards are basically useless, but he has plenty of cards to arouse the various beast type women. If he can arouse them to their "heat" limit before they either arouse him to his "heat" limit or they kill him, he wins. So, basically every single encounter he has requires him to have sex in some way or form. Basically, just about every chapter has a sex scene in it.
The harem are the various beast women he defeats, who are then enamored of him and continually try to engage in sex with him. He can manifest an ability from one at a time, and two can talk to him while he's out and about. Some of them are barely present after he defeats them, while others play a prominent role. They are all cardboard cutouts with a defined personality that really doesn't waver.
It should be noted that some readers may be uncomfortable with a few of the sex scenes, as the MC is penetrated backdoor a few times. If that will bother you, skip this book.
The writing quality was pretty good to start, but it deteriorated badly in the final few chapters.
As erotica, it's a 4 star book. As haremlit, it's more 2 star, so I split the difference with 3. Since I can enjoy erotica, I'd read a sequel.

By far the smoothest steamy book
Normally sex heavy books stumble with build up and pay off between scenes. This book rolls amazingly between each scene. Having a large cast of characters, that all steal the show in their own way.
The dialogue is quick and engaging. Humor and action fantastic.
The only downside is that the characters don’t have much downtime too be casual, but that’s not an important aspect to me in a erotica/harem story.

Slippery and Fun
While sometimes hard to follow the characters movements, I really enjoyed both the storyline and how seamless the intimate and battle/plot scenes were. I think I would appreciate a little more plot, as it does seem like we’re jumping girl to girl with not much game progress, but the scenes were well written so I don’t mind too much.

Didn't make it past chapter 1, I know exactly what I'm going to get here, and I'm not interested in reading this smut for smut's sake style novel. The literal VR story with a genre aware protage makes this feel even lazier.

Such a fun read
Really enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next in the series! Needs a bit more editorial review (mostly misspellings) but easy to look past that for the fun ride.

As much as I'm not a fan of LitRPGs, this was so much fun. Can't help but love it.
Really hoping we get more!

This is probably the most unique story I've ever read. Things happen here that I've never read elsewhere, and I loved every one of them. A great story, with the perfect amount of smut to keep me going.
