When a planet-killing comet on a collision course with Earth is discovered, the countdown to humanity’s unravelling begins. Jordan, father, veteran, and survivor, has seen the worst of mankind before. But nothing could prepare him for what comes next.
As governments collapse and society fractures, Jordan’s sole focus becomes keeping his daughter, Sophie, alive. Alongside a makeshift family of friends, strangers, and the broken remnants of the past, they retreat into the wilderness, facing starvation, violence and betrayal. With every loss, they draw closer. With every tragedy, their bond grows stronger.
But survival is not just about food and shelter. It is about trust, forgiveness, and the brutal cost of hope.
A Burning Sky is a survival thriller that What kind of person do you become when there's nothing left to lose?
This is a raw and emotional journey through the end of the world. A story not about the comet, but about the people left behind. About love that endures the worst, and family forged not by blood, but by sacrifice.
I don’t usually read books in this genre, but A Burning Sky: Enlil's Fall completely pulled me in from the first chapter. The story is fast-paced, full of vivid worldbuilding, and kept me hooked all the way through. I found myself really invested in the characters and the twists kept me wanting to read more.
What surprised me most was how immersive it felt. I could picture every scene so clearly, and the tension kept me on edge in the best way. It’s engaging, easy to get into, and such a rewarding read. By the end, I was already wishing for more. Hope to come across more books by this author. Highly recommend!
