Artemis Wolfbane was a professor at Nightbrook Academy for Magical Teens. Artemis was careful to maintain boundaries with his students. Agatha Ravenscroft was one of his students, but she wasn’t a typical student. She was 36 years old and her magic manifested late, so she was confined to the academy for six years. Agatha fancied Artemis and tried repeatedly to get him to sleep with her, including acting out in class to get his attention. I liked that this wasn’t a typical werewolf story. This version has the MMC remain in his werewolf form when they have smexxy times.
The narrator was the author, and she did an okay job. Steam really should hire a professional to narrate for her. I found the audio quality (clearness of sound) to be excellent, but a professional narrator would have made the book more enjoyable. Overall, I enjoyed this sometimes funny/sometimes serious story. It was explicit and more smut than story. Great for when you want something light and silly. I recommend it for readers who like hot wolf smut.

Ok, was habe ich erwartet? Das ganze war einfach schrecklich und wie die Hörbuchfassung es überhaupt auf Storytel geschafft hat, ist mir ein Rätsel. Das ganze wird so merkwürdig vorgelesen. Es hört sich an als ob jemand der taubstumm ist, dass ganz vorliest. Ganz merkwürdig, ich denke mal eine billige KI. Die Story ist genauso unangenehm, wie es der Titel schon vermuten lässt. Es gibt einfach überhaupt keine Story, die Charaktere haben null Tiefe. Ist natürlich bei so einem Format auch nicht zu erwarten. Aber ich habe schon kurze erotische Geschichten gelesen, wo die erotische Szene auf die es eben hinausläuft trotzdem gut eingeleitet wird. Das ist hier nicht der Fall. Emotionen sucht man hier auch vergeblich. Die erotische Szene ist ebenfalls emotionslos und langweilig.

This was exactly what I thought it would be—quick, spicy, and a little ridiculous in the best way. The whole “werewolf professor” angle is fun and definitely leans into the forbidden fantasy side of things. If you’re picking this up for the heat, you’ll get plenty of that.
That being said, there isn’t much plot or character development here. It’s more about the fantasy than the story, so if you’re looking for depth or world-building, you probably won’t find it. Still, it was entertaining for what it was and a fun guilty-pleasure read.

Beautifully written very fast read. One smex scene on page, hinted at multiple off-page. Characters are easy to accept, FMC is out for her man no matter what; paranormal academy setting – good world-building. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. I like these quick reads, it’s like a snapshot into someone else’s life, written in a way that makes this seem perfectly normal.

Kinda hot. Kinda strange. I love that Agatha is actually age appropriate and not some 19 year old virgin. I’m confused as to how I feel about the other pieces! 😂
Do they only have get together when the Professor is in his wolf form? Why did Agatha come into her powers so late? I want to know more about this school. I would read more about these characters as well as others from the school if they were to be written.

Agatha was sent to the Nightbrook Academy for Magical Teens at age thirty-six because her magic didn't appear until then. Now she's stuck at school with a bunch of immature teens, and her professor is all she wants. Artemis remains entirely professional despite all of Agatha's attempts to tempt him. That's about to change. This is a quick escape read with five-star heat. It's a fun, hot read.

This story of a woman trapped at a magic school leads her to finding her werewolf professor. He fights the pull between them but his wolf doesn't. When the full moon rises the heat between them went be denied. She gets her wish and her werewolf even if he still fights it when the moon goes down.

OMG!! Crazy good paranormal story. Intense at times, lots of awesome twists throughout the storyline. Multi layered relatable characters. Steamy scenes were AMAZING!! Secrets and suspense throughout. Read cover to cover. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the concept of this short story. But, it is a really short story, I wish this was a novel, I would devour this. I love the tropes, age-gap, tutor/student, breeding kinks. Maybe there will be more in future, if so, I'm looking forward to reading it x.
