This is cute, but I'm gonna have to stop. Going into this, I knew alien guys were in an open relationship… that's fine! I dont mind hearing about past hookups.. but I thought the sharing tag was just between the 3 of them. no.. Tam and Chase getting face fucked by randos while theyre on a cute lil date isn't my cuppa tea.
My fault the authors' trigger warnings were clear.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and spicy. This was my first tentacle book, I will say I am a fan now.

So I can’t in all good conscience give this a rating as I got maybe a third of the way through and skimmed the rest.

I just don’t know what the author’s end goal was, did they want an erotica with a plot, or was it a genuine attempt to put together a romance book, with numerous sex scenes.

The blurb was giving off hurt/comfort/mates vibes with aliens (and tentacle fun) along with some daddy kink but when I started it I established pretty quickly that sex was the forefront. We also had what I consider as dubcon - flooding a human with a ‘false heat’ chemical without their consent, yet that was just brushed over as our human found the aliens hot with an instant connection - I should point out our human had been in their presence maybe 3 hours tops…

Also this is open, like they are intimate with each other but also have sex with other aliens/share one another. I didn’t pick this up from the CW, my fault. But yeah there’s a couple of scenes, so not just a one off.

There’s this pull between all of them, then we have angst with one denying it, and then internal monologging inbetween sex scenes. Sigh.

Then a nice truth bomb with our human confessing all his trauma to his two aliens about his previous daddy and it’s detailed - financial abuse, ignoring safewords etc. yet this is halfway through what is pretty much an erotica by this point, it just felt a bit like ‘huh’. Then at the end we are informed of parental neglect as well. It’s like the author decided they actually wanted a more serious book so threw in some abuse/trauma amongst the many many many sex scenes. Sigh.

It just didn’t work, either do an erotica or a romance, combining isn’t possible unless you get that balance right (and a decent plot) and that 100% didn’t happen here. Oh and there’s mpreg at the end, just a heads up for that one.

This was my very first alien romance, and I’m officially obsessed! I need ALLLLL the tentacles 🥵🥵


This was a high spice, insta love romance. Nyx and Tam are an established alien couple on vacation when they find Chase. Sweet baby Chase is a human who has been hurt in the past.

I absolutely love that this story focuses in on safe k!nk, and that Tam and Nyx refuse to let Chase think bad about himself. This book really gives us all the goods! We get our black cat in Nyx. Tam is the bubbly sunshine. His enthusiasm is absolutely infectious! Chase is the one you want to wrap in blankets to make sure the world never hurts him again.

My one complaint isn’t even a real complaint! I just wanted to see more of Nyx all grumpy and pregnant 😂

Mars Quinn is a new to me author, but I am in awe of this quirky Christmas Romance and utterly unique world he’s created. I can’t wait to read his other works.

This was cute and very spicy! There was so much sweetness and so many tentacles. Nyx, Tam and Chase were adorable together. The ice skating, snowman building, toenail painting and terms of endearment were so sweet. I enjoyed their relationship dynamic, it was different from anything I have read so for. I liked that they had their own relationship as a throuple but also developed individual relationships between them as well. Tam had additional endeavors outside of this but there were boundaries and rules to keep their relationship truthful, respectful and happy. I appreciated the communication between the three of them. It was important to both Nyx and Tam that Chase was comfortable with them as a unit and with their way of life since he was human. This was a good time and I’m glad I picked it up! 🩷💙🩷

It worked for me. How? I’m not sure at all 🤣🤣 Pure filth and I loved every minute of it lol. Please don’t go into this thinking it’s going to be anything other than pure erotica. There is a little plot just to move things along but we are here for the smut plain and simple. Need something Christmasy with multiple partners look no further. I mean TENTACLES what more could you want 🔥 THIS IS AN OPEN POLYCULE THERE WILL BE SCENES WITH OTHER PEOPLE ITS IN THE CONTENT NOTES. The laundry list of kinks absolute perfection👌🌶️ Have fun! This was adorable! a low angst holiday read! Spice as all hell! And yes there is some major tentacle action!! 🥵 They do play with others outside of the relationship and it is explicitly described in this. I loved how they all developed in the relationship and learned in such a short amount of time with the others needed!!

Another win! Mars Quinn is one of my auto-buy authors, so I was so excited to read this one!

Unwrapping Chase is a lot spicier than Quinn’s Cosmic series, but was also so, so cute and sweet! True hallmark vibes, with a great alien twist. Great quick, fun and utterly enjoyable Christmas read. I really hope there are more in the series in the future, and I would love to see more of Tam, Nyx and Chase as they build their family.

Super sweet and spicy

Oh my goodness, this trio was simply the sweetest to read. Sweet insta-love (even if it wasn't instant admission), spicy scenes, and holiday without being a chokingly bad Hallmark movie. I admit to getting a little confused by the four genders thing, but it wasn't distracting, just... alien! ;)
