Thank you to Collective Ink and Roundfire Books for the copy. This short read explores different kinds of grief and coping mechanisms through the journey of each character.

I appreciated how the author constructed layers for all three characters, despite the length of the book. And though they are all different, they share one thing in common: loss of a loved one.

I also thought the pacing was smooth. The author crafted this psychological piece in a way that didn’t feel rushed. I finished it in one sitting!

If you enjoy a read driven by complex characters, this is the one for you.
