"Macon" is book one in the "Brigade Trucking Company" series by T.K. Lawyer. This is a new series, and I am all for it. I love that it is about shifters. Macon is a shifter and a player, that is until Nina starts working for the same company. He has his eyes set on Nina, and she has heard all about Macon. T.K. did such a great job with this first book that I can't wait for book two to come out. I liked how Nina stood her ground with Macon, but also listened when she needed to. Macon was a fun character, and I liked how he made sure to make things right.

Sexy Start to a New Series
Shape shifters in Florida? Sign me up!!
This book was one of the steamiest books I’ve read, and it had a ton of heart. And who wouldn’t love Macon? That guy when he shifted to a tiger . . . It was so sexy. The really cool thing about this book. People who worked from the Brigade Trucking Company were fully aware that shifters worked there. I’ve never seen that in a book before and it was a great way to bring the readers into the story.
Great story TK. Can’t wait for the next one.

Shapeshifter in Florida that’s giving Lora Leigh Breed series vibes sign me up
Now I will say before you dive into this book please check your trigger warnings there is a scene that imo is dub/con and may be triggering to some readers.
That being said this book revolves around Macon, our MMC shifter that works for Brigade as a truck driver where satisfaction is always guaranteed. A woman works there named Nina. Our FMC and human, and she is trying to hard to stay away from the men that work with her but Macon is making it so very hard.
This book is pretty fast paced and a short novella style read. Overall, I enjoyed the plot and the characters I do feel this book could have been longer to include some backstory on the characters and how the Brigade got started up etc. I hope that in future books we see some of that.
So I would give this book a solid 4⭐️ and I’m unknown on the chili peppa scale cause like I said check the triggers the aforementioned dub/con does take so,we of it out for me.

HOT! HOT! HOT! Smoking hot tiger shifter trucker and man-whore Macon is knocked for a loop when his mate starts working for the Brigade Trucking Company. She is not about to date where she works no matter how hot these Truckers are. It’s driving Macon nuts. Watching these two play cat and mouse was fun but when they get together the pages were on fire.
