Rate this book
The Secure Soul by Dr. Tammy Smith is for those longing to step into freedom from insecurity through aligning their identity with God’s truth about who they are.

Are you chasing validation from the world and wondering why you still feel so broken inside? Have you handed your worth over to things that always leave you feeling not enough? Do you feel like no matter how hard you try, you can’t rid yourself of constant comparison?

The Secure Soul is an invitation to walk in God’s intention for your soul’s design. It is a call to align your life with the beautiful particulars of who God made you to be and find rest in this truth: You were created on purpose with a purpose. Insecurity will fade as you develop the tools to build a life upon the reality that identity is found, cultivated, and fulfilled in Jesus. When you live from an identity anchored in the love of Christ, you will experience the peace you crave.

In The Secure Soul, you are invited to stop shopping horizontally for what’s already been given vertically. Instead, experience radical change, peace, and joy, and be released from the grip of comparison, social media, approval-seeking, addiction, and performance-based living. Discover a foundation for building a daily identity rooted in hopeful, loving, and enlightening truths from Scripture—empowering you to live out your unique and beautiful identity.

I love Tammy's writing and speaking. She has helped me process deeply and because of her I am more secure in Christ than ever before.

I had a couple concerns in this book but IMO, they aren't big enough to mention in a review because the overall message is critical that we as children of God live in.

The biggest phrase that I will probably be clinging to is that God made me on purpose for a purpose!
