Not all demons thrive on confusion; some play the game until it plays them.
Tunde, a tech mogul and one of the infamous Yoruba Demons Billionaires lives for adrenaline and control. He’s mastered the art of staying detached—until Dr. Kanyin (well almost a doctor) moves into his house... and dangerously close to his heart.
Camaa Pearl writes unforgettable, sizzling slow-burn romance for lovers of plot and steam. She is an international bestselling author and storyteller with a refreshingly unique style that borders between reality and fiction.
As a true ambivert, when she is not reading, writing, or creating content, she enjoys traveling, tasty meals, behavioral research and talking The Dream’s ear off. Find her on social media, @camaa_pearl
This book took me on a beautiful ride. It was refreshing to read a story with a brilliant FMC who is currently doing her PhD.
The story follows Tunde and Kanyin, and it was such a joy to read. Tunde’s character was absolutely lovely. Kanyin was lovely too, although she definitely annoyed me at some point. Still, I appreciated how well her character was written. The way the author explored her PhD journey and thesis made it clear that a lot of research and effort went into portraying it accurately.
I loved the friendship between Tunde and his friends, the Yoruba Demon Billionaire Club had me smiling.
Now… foot worship? That was a first for me. This is easily the kinkiest book I’ve read from Camaa, and honestly from any Nigerian author.
“I like seeing you enjoy things. I think I’m enjoying spoiling you.” This quote? I wished I was Kanyin.
Tunde and Kanyin were perfectly matched in their kink. And Tunde speaking dirty in Yoruba? Someone please fan me.
This is a 4.5-star read, and I recommend it with my full chest.
I loved Tunde’s book more than Femi’s. I think it’s because it felt more drama-free. Not completely drama-free, but Femi’s life was CHAOTIC in comparison.
I really liked Kanyin. I think I can always trust Camaa Pearl to write confident FMCs. That’s exactly what I enjoy reading. I loved that she doesn’t turn down opportunities. Why should she? She’s smart, self-assured, and very easy to root for.
And of course, I liked Tunde. In my head, he’s tall and very hot. I understood his struggles with family expectations, especially as the first child. However, I wish there was more depth when it came to his family and their dynamics. His life feels too layered for those relationships to be treated so lightly. TamTam’s story was the only one that really felt explored.
But, I already know the spice is going to be spice-ing as expected lol (even though, one particular scene made me shout “Ewww” 🤣) and I will never get over Kanyin’s sister mentioning that Tunde looks like his thrust can power Ajaokuta. It made me laugh so hard.
Overall, it was a good read and I genuinely loved the couple, and the angst wasn’t heavy or exhausting to read at all.
This book? Absolutely amazing! One thing about Author Camaa Pearl is that you don’t even have to read her books to know she’s delivered a masterpiece.
Tunde and Kanyin’s story isn’t just about healing, romance, and wealth, it also dives into what it means to be human, showing how life outside of love can overwhelm you and bring out sides of yourself you’re not always proud of. CP reminds us that love is sweet… but when money and healing joins the chat, love gets even sweeter.
Ladies and gentlemen, Tunde Famakin and his smart-ass, spicy girl are taking you on a jolly ride! Enjoy✨️
This book is chef’s kiss, a really beautiful masterpiece from Camaa Pearl. I always trust her to deliver, but this book? Blew my mind away!!!
I was hooked from the very first chapter of this copy. The plot of this book was well written, the pacing was perfect, and the emotional depth was well felt. Everything about this book was very well detailed, I can’t even emphasize enough.
Kanyin is such a confident and brilliant FMC, she’s classy, smart, independent and gives off that soft baby girl energy, she’s everything I adore and love in a lead. Kanyin’s relationship with her sisters added such a warm touch, the true bond of sisterhood.
Tunde?? Ouuuuu…… this man is a lot, but in the best way ever. He’s wild, attentive, rich, caring and intelligent.
The spice? The chemistry? The intimacy? The romance? The tension? The fetish discovery? The fantasies exploration? The kinks? I was definitely not readyyy😩 but I loved every bit of it. Camaa Pearl did not hold back at all…. she was serving us hot and hot.
I loved the emotional depth in this book. Tunde’s struggles with family issues really hit home for me, especially as an older sibling who always carries the weight of everyone else. This book touched a lot of themes….. characters with flaws, layered hurts, family tension, friendship, trust and love.
If I had one issue, it was the way it ended too soon😩😂 I wanted more of their story. This is honestly a 5⭐️ read for me, can’t lie. I highly recommend.
I was hooked from the beginning of this book, I couldn’t put it down and I also didn’t want it to end. I loved their banter and how their love was drama free.
You know how they say female authors write the best male characters that is how Tunde felt, Tunde was thoughtful and intentional not just to Kanyin but his family too. I liked how he fell first and didn’t hold back with his love, I liked how he felt human with personal issues and battles- I think I also fell for him😂
I love that Camaa Pearl doesn’t write shallow female characters, they always come correct and Kanyin wasn’t an exception. She was smart and confident. Her mistake was avoidable but she handled it well and it added more depth to their story.
The spice in this book was spicy🤣. Tunde is freaky freaky lol.
I think this might be my favorite book from the billionaire story. If you are looking for a fast paced feel good love story, then this book is for you.
Tunde is hiding a lot under those trousers on the cover. I really enjoyed the banter between him and Kanyi and the spice🔥🔥🔥 I loved Kanyi, no nonsense lady. sparky and self assured. Micheal. ... I am watching you. well written MC's and I enjoyed seeing mention of other characters in Camaa's universe.
Reading this book to me, was like boarding a flight for the first time; having an idea of what to expect but not knowing what will/can happen. The title of the book is a trap! I recommend you read to understand my statement. #lol# You'll ask yourself, where's the demon? Because I was just 'aww-ing'. Love is sweet sha... Tunde, a Yoruba Demon; is a love story with life issues; where every heart has a struggle, fighting for survival even as we want to allow ourselves 'freefall' into love. The author knows her worth! I was able to read this book in a day; and I'm enchanted by it! Love to see more of Tundes and Kanyins in our society. Now, I want my own Yoruba Demon. This was a worthwhile read!
Yoruba Demon Tunde was another cozy read that completely captivated me.
I really loved this book. I loved it so much, and I keep saying that because honestly, what else is there to say when a story makes you feel this way? I did not want their story to end. I wanted to keep reading. I wanted to stay with these characters longer.
The story follows Kanyin, a PhD student whose travel plans are disrupted by flight delays. Because of this, she ends up staying temporarily in a house recommended by a family friend. The idea is simple. She is only supposed to stay there because the owner of the apartment is not expected to be around. Except he is.
That owner is Tunde.
Their first meeting is shocking, awkward, tense, and uncomfortable in a way that immediately tells you something important. This connection is not going to be ordinary. Tunde walks into his home and finds a stranger living there. weapons are drawn. Questions are asked. Boundaries are challenged. The moment feels dangerous, but at the same time, it quietly hints at the intensity that is going to define their relationship.
What really stood out to me was how well the author brought the chemistry, passion, and emotional intensity between these two characters to life. Everything about them feels intense. They are intense about their work. They are intense about their ambitions. And they are veryyyyyyy intense about each other. The attraction feels consuming and obsessive in a way that made sense for who they are.
I will say this honestly. These two are freakyyyyyy. but not in an overdone way. it is in a deeply connected, emotionally charged way. And I actually felt like the author did not even go as deep as one might expect. That is not me complaining. It just made me feel like these characters need another book. one book focused on how they meet their families and build their relationship, another book, mainly smut that focuses on their passion and how they explore their different sexual fantasies. then a semi final book (lmaoooo) that’s focuses on their life when they get married. how Tunde realizes that he is a sub and Kanyin is his everlasting dom. my mind is going everywhere lmaooo but that is just how this story makes me feel. Their story in this book did not feel finished to me. I wanted more and maybe 🤔 we need a fanfic of these two.
One of the things I loved most about this book was how it explored life outside academic identity. Seeing Kanyin as a PhD student who still desires love, connection, passion, and a full emotional life felt affirming and beautiful. It reminded me that ambition does not cancel softness or romance. also, good girl no dey pay. i’m just saying. good girls should live a lot
Tunde’s journey also stayed with me. Through his relationship with Kanyin, he finds something deeper than romance. He finds a sense of family, belonging, and emotional grounding. Watching him build that sense of home and connection was meaningful and tender, and it added emotional weight to the story.
also, the way Tunde goes all the way for Kanyin IS SO BEAUTIFUL. Emotionally. Mentally. Without hesitation. He does not love halfway. He commits fully, and I loved that intensity so much.
This book moved me. I enjoyed it deeply. I am very glad I read it, and I genuinely believe Kanyin and Tunde deserve SEVERAL books. we need a 2.5 release loll
I knew from the first time I met Tunde in Femi’s book that I was going to like him. This book is honestly one of the best books I’ve read this year, and I truly didn’t want it to end. The story follows BabaTunde Famakainwa, a business mogul who is emotionally available for everything except love until a PhD student, Dr. Kanyinsola Alade, moves into his house. What begins as a hilarious and flirtatious encounter soon blossoms into something neither of them can control.
𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞 is a character I will always love. A man with a tough exterior and a soft interior. He was dealing with so much making sure everyone and everything was okay while he himself was drowning. I honestly wished he was a bit more selfish with his family by putting himself first, because they kept taking from him without asking how he was feeling or doing. I was really glad he went for therapy.
𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐢𝐧 is one of the most intelligent characters I have ever come across. Her humour is top-notch, and I love how passionate she is about her career, her family, and the people she cares about. Her sisters were hilarious, and I enjoyed their conversations so much. Honestly, I would love to see more of them especially Moyinsola.
Now… that Michael ehn?? A proper gaslighter from the pit of hell. Because what?? You’ve been flirting with this babe for years and you didn’t know she liked you? You didn’t even care enough to tell her you had responsibilities? Jezz!!! Men will not only stain your white, they will sew it and use it to sew Agbada!!! I also loved how Camaa Pearl did extensive research on their careers. Reading it felt like I was part of their projects and presentations. I especially appreciated how she broke everything down into the simplest form for people who are not into tech like me. It added more depth to the story, and I enjoyed every part of it.
Another thing I loved was how layered the themes were. The book centers around love after betrayal, family expectations and pressure, emotional vulnerability, self-worth, friendship, sisterhood, and breaking stereotypes. All these themes made the book very engaging, and once again, I didn’t want it to end. These two are sapiosexual freaks who fell deeply in love with each other. Their fantasies and kinks??? Intense! This is my first time reading a book where the characters have kinks, and I genuinely enjoyed it. I thought I was going to cringe, but yooo! Their sexual, emotional, and physical attraction was irresistible. I was giggling and blushing the entire time.
Overall, this was a very well-written book. The plot was engaging and deliciously messy. Camaa Pearl clearly took her time writing this story. The characters? Chef’s kiss. Trust me, you will not want this book to end. It was a solid read for me, and I will definitely read it again. I highly recommend ❤️
Camaa Pearl did her thing with this one, and I loved it. I started the book in the morning and couldn’t put it down.
When Kanyin’s flight to Japan get disrupted, a family friend arranges for her to stay in his friend’s house whilst she sort things out because said friend is supposed to be away. However, the owner unexpectedly turns up and aims a gun at her thinking, she’s an intruder.
Tunde doesn’t find it funny that a stranger is in his house. After the misunderstanding gets cleared, Kanyin still has to remain in his space for a few more days. What starts off as irritation blooms into chemistry when he realises she isn’t just attractive but intelligent too.
I enjoyed this one so much. It was a full experience. I giggled, got mad, shouted and laughed. The characters were likeable, although the FMC annoyed me at some point (had me shouting ‘No’ & ‘Are you mad’ at my screen).
This is the first time in a long time I fully sided with a MMC. Tunde was that guy! When he reached his breaking point I was like ‘Aww sorry my baby’. Btw his family members are mad🌚🥴
I loved the banter between the main characters👌🏾. Two adults who know what they want and go for it. Two freaky ass sapiosexuals!🤭🤭 Tunde started it but stilllllllllll…Y’all are nastyyyyy for that thing that happened around 80 something percent mark in the book🤭🤭(go and read it to find out).
It was spicy but well balanced with emotional depth. I loved Tunde’s relationship with his friends and Kanyin’s relationship with her sisters.
I also loved the research put into the characters’ careers. It was interesting to read and gave the book more depth beyond the romance.
The conflict kept me hooked because it was different, though I would’ve also loved to see how they fixed the work related issue as they resolved their personal issues. The resolution felt a bit rushed. I need book 1.5 for proper wrap up😅
NGL I enjoyed this one more than the first book. I felt like the characters in this one and the plot had more meat.
Asides from a few tiny editing issues, I had no major complaints about the book. Definitely worth picking up!
📚 Book Review o’clock Book Title: Yoruba Demon: Tunde by Camaa Pearl Rating: 4.5🌟
Camaa Pearl does it again with another member of the Yoruba Demons Billionaire Club, this time centering on Tunde — a tech mogul whose life revolves around control, success, and emotional detachment. Tunde abides by Rule No 7 until almost Dr. Kanyin😂moves into his world and threatens to unravel everything he’s built.
I’ll start by saying Tunde is the kind of man you don’t fall for accidentally ooo, you fall knowing fully well it will most likely cost you peace of mind😤I like how Tunde was portrayed not only as the quintessential “Yoruba Demon - confident, charismatic, and used to having life on his terms but also as someone who would do anything for those he cares about including allowing them spend a few nights in jail😂😂
Kanyin on the other hand is a nutjob, beauty with brains and I mean that literally but always laughing at everything😂😂just like me😌I love how passionate she was about her career, maybe too passionate self. What starts as being two people being accidentally forced to exist in the same orbit shifts into something deeper, messy, and real.
I equally love how Tunde’s emotional journey was shown even though I wanted to see more of it. The way he moved from a stone cold billionaire to someone capable of eating road side Indomie with a woman is just beautiful to see, especially as Aunty Kanyin is playing ten-ten with the man feelings😂and ohhhhh Kanyin’s relationship with her sisters, it’s captivating and it’s something I highly recommend to young women.
This book doesn’t beg you to like Tunde. It lets you understand the man he is and I must say it was an irresistible read. I finished the entire book in one day and I love love it😍if you’re like me and you love romance with Nigerian flair and emotionally satisfying storylines, or a pure sapiosexual, you should check this one out. Kudos Ms Camaa, just when I think I’ve seen your best, you outdo yourself again and we’re here for it🥹
This book is absolutely beautiful! It was a total rollercoaster ride and I enjoyed more than "Yoruba Demon: Femi". I love that my baby—Enesi and her "husband" were mentioned🙂↕️
I love love Kanyin's character, she's expressive, bold, smart and she has a really nice sense of humor. Tunde's free spirited, intelligent and I lobe the side of him where he is in his element as business mogul, talking about "Ranti" and his care free view of the world. He's spontaneous and he is "vain", I loveee!!! The two together, the slow burn was really burning but I felt the tension charged between the two—the sexual tension, the emotional connection between the two felt so realistic. It felt like I was watching movie, especially that first scene🥹 Dramatic entrance>>> I love. But there's something about Kanyin's character, I mean she's supposed to be smart, as a woman, as someone that's getting her PhD, she didn't seem to see anything wrong I'm talking about "Ranti" before it was out and she knows how the media could easily spin stories especially if it involved someone popular and someone that's not so known, I don't if I would she lacks emotional intelligence or something.
Tunde's family dynamics gave this book a multilayered fill, coz behind all the hard exterior, pun intended😝, he's a vulnerable man with a burden that he's carrying and a family "secret" he's trying so hard to hide away from the world. Kanyin and her sisters, I love their closeness and their intimacy, it warms my heart each time I'm reading about them. And the part where marriage was talked about, using one of Kanyin's sister, it isss valid like mad!!! Camaa is girl's girl, always!
Camaa and unconventional sex scenes once in a while, glad she's representing people that enjoy those kind of intimate fetishes and kinks in the other room.
I absolutely loved their denial stage, their banter, their back and forth, the little dose of "enemies to lovers" tension. I always say a new character is my absolute fave each time Camaa releases a book, but NGL, this one had me hooked.

Camaa pearl has done it again😍😍😍 This book was everything I wanted and more. Smart, sexy, emotionally layered, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Camaa Pearl does not miss, and this story is proof. Kanyin is the kind of FMC I love brilliant, ambitious, confident, and deeply human. Seeing her navigate her PhD added so much depth to the story, and it was obvious that real thought and research went into portraying that journey. She doesn’t shrink herself or turn down opportunities, and that made her incredibly easy to root for. Tunde, on the other hand, is soft, attentive, and quietly intense in the best way. His struggles with family expectations, especially as a first child, felt relatable and grounding. Together, they just worked. Their chemistry was natural, their emotional connection felt earned, and the angst never became heavy or exhausting. The friendships were another highlight. Tunde and his friends brought humor and warmth, and the Yoruba Demon Billionaire Club was such a fun addition. Now let’s talk spice because whew. This is easily the kinkiest Camaa Pearl book I’ve read, and it was done so well. Their desires were perfectly matched, playful, and intentional. Tunde speaking dirty in Yoruba? Illegal. Some scenes had me laughing, others had me staring at the wall, but all of it fit the story and the characters. What I loved most is that this book wasn’t just about romance. It explored healing, ambition, pressure, wealth, and what it means to be human when life outside love is doing the most. It was dramatic without being chaotic, sexy without losing substance, and heartfelt without being heavy.
I've been wanting to read Yoruba demon: Femi for a while, but never got around to buying it, and honestly, Tunde's story turned out to be the perfect way to start the series. First I really loved what Camaa did with the MMC and FMC, two intelligent people colliding was such a lovely thing to behold and I loved how Tunde goes out of his way for the people he loves and especially the way my guy spoils Kanyin so cute 😍.
One thing that surprised and fascinated me about this story was the Fetish discovery, honestly Camaa was the first author that introduced me to this in a book and I absolutely loved how she wrote about it so naturally.
Away from the romance, while reading I realized this book quietly mirrors real Nigerian realities, Kanyin's dad storyline made me reflect on how power, government systems and injustice still shapes lives in ways we don't talk about.
I also loved what Camaa did with Moyinsola's scenario that alone made me realize that, you can be in love, care deeply for someone but still not compatible with for a lifetime commitment, and I absolutely love the relationship between Kanyin and her sisters it's something I truly admire.
And let me not even get started on how Michael did Kanyin dirty, that guy deserves a special kind of torture.
Tunde's story is a book I really enjoyed, Camaa's writing is beautiful and deeply captivating. The way she builds her characters and sustains reader's interest till the very end is truly commendable, if you've been considering this book this is your sign, you're going to love it! Safe to say I'm officially sold and seated for the rest of this series.
Three words come to mind when I think of this book: enthralling, immersive, and spicy. It simply wouldn’t be a Camaa Pearl’s piece if it doesn’t deliver on all three.
Tunde is everything the title promises and more. He is charismatic, confident, filthy richhh and seductive (I call him the Kink master for a reason😉😂)
Tunde is written to exist in a world that demands successful men remain stoic, emotionally restrained, and unfazed even when personal and family issues makes that expectation unrealistic. Camaa Pearl debunks this stereotype by depicting that vulnerability does not diminish masculinity. If anything, it humanizes it.
Moving on to my girlllllllllllllll, Kanyin. This character is confident, bold, intelligent, and so self-assured as she navigates the pressures of being a doctoral student. As a PhD candidate myself, I could relate to the stress of writing and conducting research, the pressure to publish in reputable journals, the constant push from supervisors to give nothing but your absolute best, and the unspoken understanding that “good enough” is never enough. Thank you Camaa, for lending a voice to our struggle.
As a self-proclaimed sapiosexual, I found Tunde’s attraction to Kanyin’s intelligence incredibly satisfying. His desire is not just physical, it is sparked by her wit and ambition. Their connection thrives on mental stimulation and the undeniable pull of two people who challenge each other in all the right ways.
If I say more than this, I’ll be saying too much. This is yet another masterpiece from Camaa Pearl, take it or leave it. Just know that once you take it, leaving won’t be an option ☺️
Personally, this is a different vibe(one that I love!), asides the normal billionaire MMC, reading about a brilliant FMC in the academic world was totally different and I loved every bit of it, talking about researches, down to paperwork, projects and seminars, took me on a journey that I vibed with.
Now to the story🤭. It follows Tunde, a tech mogul, a stone cold billionaire, everything about this guys speaks wealth, control(this, I bet you’d fall in love with) and Dr. Kanyin, a PHD, very passionate about her line of work, and she doesn’t take life that serious. I honestly don’t know how to describe T(that’s what I call him😌😉) in a way that I have it in my head, but trust me, T is that guyyy🤭talk about a proper Yoruba Demon, one that’s confident and goes out of his way for people he truly adores.
Tunde’s story not only talks about love and money, but somehow shows the importance of having a partner(Kanyin literally helped T with this emotional brouhaha), a brilliant and playful one at that.
This story explores the theme of family bonds, Kanyin’s relationship with her sisters, and also, Tunde with his family too. Just when you thought you’ve seen it all in FEMI’s story, Camaa brought out the unexpected in this one! God knows my man needs to start researching on “different & breathtaking” discoveries😩🥵!!
To Camaa Pearl, I give you your flowers💐. I totally advise you read YORUBA DEMON: TUNDE. Thank you Ma Camaa, for this ARC!
PS: Love me a man that speaks dirty in his(my) native language😉🥵🤭
......Because next time, it won't be stomach pumping --it'll ba a body bag.
.......I like seeing you enjoy things. I think I'm enjoying spoiling you. These are two phrases, I can't get over after reading the book. Who wouldn't want to be spoiled, the way Kanyin was spoilt 😁😁.
The story follows the forced meeting between a tech mogul ,Tunde and a PHD student, Kanyin and how their lives become interwoven in longing, romance, projects, tech apps, optimisation and love 🙂.
I went into reading Tunde's story thinking it would be more chaotic than that of Femi, but I would say I was surprised that I liked Tunde's story more, maybe because I got the background of his life with family and it was so relatable.
One thing that drew me into the book is that I liked how the author gave us a strong and brilliant FMC and took us through her academic journey and how she shone bright when it came to her career, so it wasn't only her looks that drew in the MMC. I also liked that she explored the characters career and we could see what their individual lives entailed and the book was not just about the romance. I can't forget what transpired between Kanyin and Michael, that scene made me laugh so hard, at the same time I was painted on Kanyin's behalf🤣🤣.
One thing I'll take from it is that taking responsibility is not the same as being indispensable and we shouldn't tie our worth to being a saviour, that we lose ourselves. Overall, this was a good read and I enjoyed it.
I’m grateful to have received an ARC of this book. This turned out to be a much sweeter and more emotionally grounded read than I expected. I initially went in anticipating a lot of chaotic or toxic drama, but instead found a story centered on two people trying to find themselves in a complicated world.
What stood out most to me was Tunde’s character development. Watching him confront his emotional baggage, particularly rooted in childhood trauma, while still allowing himself to be open to love was deeply engaging. His dynamic with Kanyin felt natural and well-balanced, and their connection developed in a way that felt earned.
This is my first time reading a book by Camaa Pearl, and while I’m not typically a spice reader, I appreciated that beneath the explicit scenes was a story with real substance. When the spice is set aside, there is depth, longing, emotional vulnerability, and two characters whose journeys are worth following. That, for me, made the book worthwhile.
I also appreciated that despite the wealth and lifestyle portrayed, the characters were written with emotional depth and humanity. Tunde, in particular, demonstrated a level of emotional awareness and maturity that isn’t always present in similar stories, and I found that refreshing.
Overall, this was a satisfying and heartfelt read. I enjoyed the character growth, the chemistry, and the emotional core of the story, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to read it.
I received this book as an e-ARC from Camaa Pearl and Indie Noir Pr and I must say I really really enjoyed reading it.
First of all,the chemistry between Kanyin and Tunde was off the roof.I was just oohhingggg, ahhinggg, wowwing and awwwingg throughout 🥹🥹🤭🤭.
The way the both of them compliments each other like two really brilliant and intellectually sound people coming together. Tunde fell first and fell hard for her and it was obvious in the way he treated her.The conversations, the gifts and the talking through the sex…..hmmmmmm🤭🤭😭😭
Kanyin is such a smart babe like pursuing a PhD in Data(wow wow wow).Even though stealing his work kind of wasn’t nice at all.The least she could have done is to inform him about it but he forgave her and that’s good .My best part was when he pointed a gun at her😂😂. We experienced a bit of Kanyin’s family but It would have been better if we also got to see more of Tunde’s family.I feel there’s really more to know about them especially his sister. This is such a heartwarming book and I can’t wait for the next one by Camaa Pearl
I genuinely loved Yoruba Demon: Tunde. This book pulled me straight into the lives of a techie Tunde and a doctor kanyinsola, and I enjoyed every moment of it. The emotions felt real, the conversations were natural, and the depth with which both characters’ lives were described made the story come alive. What stood out to me most was how well the author explored their individual worlds their careers, family dynamics, siblings, and personal struggles. It wasn’t just about romance; it was about life, growth, and how two people navigate their own realities. The storytelling felt intimate and intentional. I could feel the emotions in their interactions, and I appreciated how layered the characters were. This book reminded me that love stories can be soft, deep, and meaningful without losing authenticity. Overall, Yoruba Demon: Tunde is a beautiful, engaging read, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys emotionally grounded romance with relatable characters.
This is my first read from the YDBC series and I absolutely loved it.
It's all about Tunde, a tech billionaire and Kanyin, a PhD student. Tunde is the every girl's dream man, loving, protective, funny, teasing, effortlessly charming and messy in all the right ways… the kind of guy who seems to have it all under control. Well! Does he? When his demons begin to act up and it makes you want to shake him and say, “Come on, Tunde, you can do better than this na!”
Kanyin, on the other hand, is brilliant, smart, sweet and loving, yet annoyingly stubborn and always on a laughing spree at odd moments. What I loved most about Kanyin is her audacity and confidence, how she pushed through the chaos, while keeping her head high and refusing to back down.
Their love story didn’t start with roses or a coffee date, well it began at the chaos of misunderstanding, which became the spark that neither of them could ignore. This was indeed an addictive read and a ride I’ll never forget.
I really enjoyed this book from Ms Camaa and I’m so grateful for the ARC.
I fell for Tunde the moment he pointed that gun at Kanyin’s head. And I was not disappointed! From the witty banter, to the chess games, to St Barts, I loved how he took care of my girl. Even when he was all about the sex, you’d know my guy has fallen in love already. Even after Kanyin did him dirty, he was still obsessed.
As for Kanyin, I love her brain, I love how she kept Tunde on his toes but I feel like she never really understood how wrong she did Tunde by claiming his work like that. Yes it wasn’t intentional, but the results were serious and she didn’t really take it seriously. He forgave her too soon in my opinion but that’s fine, that’s why he’s our Mistuh T😊
I enjoyed the plot, the pacing, the depth of their relationship and how it blended with the spice in this book. A solid five star from me and I can’t wait to read more on the other Yoruba Demons
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I expected the usual smooth talk, endless flirtation, and maybe a trail of broken hearts. But nope Tunde, he came with more. Confident, charming, unbothered but with layers. There’s humor, premium drama, and a surprisingly emotional depth beneath all that charm. Dr. Kanyinsola, his match, doesn’t just swoon; she challenges him, balances him, and makes this billionaire playboy story actually engaging. The chemistry is sizzling, the tension is real. the author kept me on edge with the sharp dialogue, lively scenarios, and clever situational comedy, which also makes the story's charm alive.
I can never get over how Kanyin 🥰 challenges Tunde in ways that make the narrative richer and more engaging. Do not even get me started on the sizzling and steamy parts (Sprays holy water) 🏃♀️🏃♀️ YDBC:TUNDE is genuinely romantic
Yoruba Demon: Tunde by Camaa Pearl is an unputdownable book,it had me hooked from the very first page. This story draws you in so effortlessly. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a feel-good read. Camaa Pearl thank you for this amazing job in bringing the characters to life ,not just the leads, but also the supporting cast, especially Kanyin’s sisters. This book is pure art: easy to understand, engaging, and a joy to read. I would gladly read it over and over again. Patiently waiting for Obinna's Story.
This book has me hooked and I can't believe it got me defending a man(Tunde)cuz man was so intentional and the romance between him and kanyi two kink people that Match each other's freak kanyi my brilliant queen tho she was annoying at some point but it shows you can be smart and still don't know how to read a room cuz Ahgggg kanyi abeg Camaa pearl take your flowers cuz this book is mind blowing and the way you have been writing this new books is something different from what I'm used to your writing I love it
Guys.........This book is a must read especially if you are into kinky stuffs and Dare I mention that the chemistry is insane......like I love the way kanyinsola was clear and determined about her goals and pls I do much love brilliant FMs I love that Tunde was mature and pls I love the way he loves kanyin This novel contained explicit sex scenes that added more spice to it which is one of the reasons why I love it
This book swayed me into the new year and it was such a soft and easy read. Always been a sucker for enemies-to-lovers romance with a Rich MMC. Tunde made me laugh so much and i was invested in their romance and banter. I absolutely loved how healthy communication can make a relationship thrive in any environment whatsoever. A good cheesy book that would make your toes curls and your blankets heavy in a good way.
This is my first time receiving an ARC of Camaa Pearl's books and omo, this book was not a disappointment! I was just mesmerized by Tunde and his lover boy nature all through. And Kanyin? Giving capable woman and her smartness is out of this world. All in all, I loved this book. But you see Obinna and Kemi's books? I have a feeling they'll top the rankings
This series is so dear to my heart. And Tunde's story? Beautiful, well crafted. The balance between romance and individual demons and goals. I love the sincerity of the love story too. The characters are not forced into romance. It simply flows.
