A box of pictures. It blew up Colt Nichol’s entire world. Everything the person they thought was the De-Identifier said was right. He’s not the serial killer, and the real one wants Colt’s wife as his final victim. How the hell does he stop this?

Lex Nichols thought being accosted outside a café by her adopted children’s stepfather was strange enough, but then she was saved by a man who looks oddly familiar. When she learns who he really is, she confronts the one person who knows the truth, only to be made aware of yet one more thing she’s been kept in the dark about.

Having murderous stalkers isn’t new for Lex. In fact, it’s almost boring at this point, but this time feels different. Like she won’t make it out alive. Her gut is rarely wrong, but this is one of those times she’d give anything not to be right.

On top of a threat against Lex, another familiar face shows up in town. One many of the men would love to bury. He claims he’s changed, and he says he wants to prove it. But is that change only driven by a pretty brunette doctor who recently moved to town?

As the hunt for the hunter goes nowhere, can the club keep one of their own safe? Or will they lose Lex to the man who’s watched her for far longer than anyone knew? Will her family make it out of this intact?

Logan Gray is a writer and authorpreneur who likes to create books like artists like to create art. Description is important, but she wants to allow the reader to make the story their own. While she wants to give the reader what he or she needs to see the picture she's trying to depict, she doesn't want to fill the pages with unnecessary description to restrict how the reader views the characters or places.

While this may not appeal to all readers, she hopes it appeals to others who like you add their own touch to the story. Maybe they would rather the walls be white instead of gray. Maybe they'd like to envision the person is tall instead of average height. While the description as she sees it is there, it's not written so strongly the own interpretation cannot be made and applied. It gives the reader some creative freedom in a hobby that isn't always as flexible.

I can't give this more than three stars. Sorry. It was just all over the place. Apparently this is the last book for the Deranged Drifter's MC because it does end with questions and a new MC showing up at the end. My biggest critique of this series and which I think has stopped a lot of people to stick with it is the million POVs in every book. You can't form any kind of feeling for any character because every chapter has a new couple or the author trying to give said couple a HEA. But you only come away with feeling partially satisfied and a HFN. Well except Colt and Lex. Which the last book was more about. Honestly all the other couples aren't given good HEAs or a feeling of resolution. I'm still convinced Undertaker aka Francis still loves his dead ex more than Jaime. The author didn't give them thorough ending. Marnie and Venom I wish had their own book. Including Undertaker and Jaime. A couple other MMCs as well. I hope the author changes strategies just a bit with that because having finally come to the end I feel completely unsatisfied and that kind of pisses me off because I stuck with 23 books. The author was busy giving some couples some sort of ending while leaving other's completely out here. While killing off one character and leaving another character's ending open ended. But I hope his life is miserable to be honest. You suck Rocco. So I'm hoping with the new series I think is coming she doesn't write like this. Time will tell I guess. Overall I don't regret sticking with it, but the feeling of being unsatisfied is still there.

Overall Impression: ✨✨✨✨✨
This series intensifies and adds layers of excitement as it unfolds. What began as a relatively tame PG-13 narrative transforms into a thrilling exploration of passion and drama. I particularly appreciated how the story revolves around the Drifters as a collective, rather than focusing solely on couples. We watch our cherished characters evolve and grow from the very beginning until the final pages. Spanning an impressive 20 years, the narrative concludes with the captivating introduction of a new club, leaving readers eager for more. One of my absolute favorite series, this captivating tale has truly captured my imagination. I eagerly anticipate the next installment from the talented Logan Gray, whose storytelling never fails to mesmerize. Until we meet again, cheers to more wonderful adventures ahead!

I adore the Deranged Drifters MC and have never missed a book, Lexi is an absolute legend to me and even though Colt over the years had me questioning his character, he is the other half of Lexi’s soul, I love them together ❤️❤️❤️ A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

Going into this book I had mixed emotions. First I was excited to read another DDMC book, but then I realized it was the final book of the series. Ok back to the book. This book was just as amazing as the other books in this series. I can't wait to see what else this author writes.
