Secrets don’t stay buried forever… especially at Dominion Point.Fifteen years ago, a Dominion Point student vanished without a trace.

Now Paige Calloway has found her body hidden in a sealed-off library study room.

The discovery sends shockwaves through campus—and sets off a dangerous chain reaction. The student wasn’t just murdered; she had ties to a scandal that could destroy Dominion Point’s carefully polished reputation. But every record Paige uncovers has been scrubbed, every archive redacted, and every lead buried deeper than the last.

Someone doesn’t want the truth exposed.

And they’ll do anything to keep the past dead.

With tensions rising between professors, secrets unraveling among students, and her growing connection to the ever-complicated Rhys Ashford threatening to distract her, Paige must decide who to trust—and how far she’s willing to go to uncover the truth.

Because at Dominion Point, the most dangerous lies are the ones written in ink.

Perfect for fans of Bones, Veronica Mars, and Shadowhunters, this twisty dark academia mystery blends sealed-door suspense, buried scandals, and slow-burn forbidden romance into one unputdownable ride.

I’m giving this a 3.5/5 stars. I kinda feel like we’re retreading some ground here and there are a lot of similarities to the first book with a young girl, a secret relationship and a coverup. There’s also some continuity errors with things being repeated like the multiple Thanksgiving dinner invites. I also feel like we took a step back with the actual narration/prose. We started with overly narrative books, moved on to letting the story unfold naturally and organically and now we’re back to an overly narrative book. I like this series, I like the concept, I like the main characters especially Paige who has no dominion but is determined to make an impact regardless. I just feel like this book was a step backwards in the series rather than a step forward. That doesn’t mean there weren’t some really heady things that happened. Cass and Celeste stuff, Ashford and Paige stuff, murder and coverup stuff. Those moments shine and I want more of them and less let’s put every thought we have and repeat things over and over. My two cents your mileage may vary.

Oh, Isadora Brown, you’ve done it again! Dominion Point never fails to suck me in, but this installment? Chef’s kiss. From the moment Paige stumbled across that long-lost body hidden in the library, I was glued. I could practically feel the dust and tension clinging to every study room and dimly lit hallway.
The twists kept me flipping pages like a fiend. Every lead Paige uncovered felt like stepping into a labyrinth of secrets that Dominion Point would kill to keep buried. And can we talk about Rhys Ashford? That slow-burn connection with Paige? Ugh. The tension is palpable—smart, complicated, and just the right amount of swoony distraction from the deadly mysteries she’s unraveling.
This book isn’t just a murder mystery; it’s a tangled web of academia, scandal, and forbidden romance that had me alternating between gasping and swooning. Every secret, every buried truth, felt like it could shatter everything Paige cared about—and I loved every second of the suspense.
If you love dark academia, forbidden slow-burn romance, and mysteries that keep you guessing until the very last page, Liaisons & Libraries will not disappoint. I’m already bracing myself for the next installment—I need it.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Book 5 in Isadora Brown's fantasy Dominion Point Mystery series is Liaisons and Libraries. Paige finds evidence of a historic crime while researching an assignment, as Bonfire Night approaches...but who wants to rebury the truth before she can share it?
Emotions are running high as tutors and students alike come under Paige's scrutiny.
See what it's all about when you get your copy of Liaisons and Libraries, which I can highly recommend!.

I really enjoyed this as a fifth entry in the Dominion Point Mystery series, it does a great job in creating that romance element that I was looking for in this type of book. I was hooked from the first page, and thought the characters worked well in this setting and thoroughly enjoyed the concept and how they were used. Isadora Brown has a strong writing style and am excited to read more in this series and from the author.

Paige is back, and in this book, she finds a body hidden in a sealed off room in the library, and things take some mysterious turns. This murder mystery was an interesting read, from the unexpected twists and suspense, to the danger and page turning storyline. Liaisons and Libraries, book five, is a great addition to The Dominion Point Mystery series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Book five and Paige finds herself neck deep in another murder mystery, this one being 15 years old. A dominion student who went missing has now been found along with secrets and a scandal that could change everything. Twists and turns, mystery and suspense, drama and danger, this had me glued to the pages from start to finish.
