A plane crash. No survivors. Two widows left behind with everything to lose.

Eva was once a scrappy journalist, but motherhood and suburban life softened her edge-until her husband's death forces her to investigate the biggest story of her life. Bank accounts drained. Documents forged. Her father's name entangled in financial crimes. To save her family, she must expose the truth about the person she trusted most-her husband. Harper, a roller coaster designer, knows how to build a ride that keeps people safe, even when they're hurtling into the unknown. But no blueprint could prepare her for the sudden drop after her husband's death. No records. No family. No past. Harper, five months pregnant, must dismantle his secrets-before her child is born into a lie. The two women-strangers and opposites-should have nothing in common. But bound by suspicion, Eva and Harper are thrust together into a truth-seeking mission that will change them both. Because sometimes, the most dangerous lies are the ones we tell ourselves.

This is not a genre I typically read, but I loved this book! The author wove together the two protagonists’ lives so beautifully and it continues to stick with me. I can’t wait to read whatever she writes next!

This novel is like an intricate puzzle box to unfold. The two central women characters are so alive and interesting. The plane crash around which the plot of the narrative revolves, ultimately gives them both a way to look at the boxes they have created and to grow. I especially loved the author's view of the possibilities for women's lives as reflected in the character of Chanel.

A gripping novel
I came across “Flight Path” by Suzanne Carver and I was glued to the pages from the start. It’s a gripping novel that delves into a plane accident that has no survivors but the problem comes out when one widow, Eva, discovers that her husband hides information from her. So, Eva starts an investigation that changes her life and drives her closer to Harper, another widow. At the beginning, they were strangers but then their lives intertwined.
When it comes to gripping stories, this novel takes the first prize since it delves into a story that can happen in reality. I was really engaging in these two women’s investigations and ideas about the b side of their marriages. While I was reading, I felt pity for those women but at the same time proud to see how they investigate and move forward in their lives. I definitely recommend it.

I devoured this story in 24 hours. When I finished, I just wanted to meet up with the main characters for the weekend and soak up their insight and perspective on being women and mothers and marriage. I felt heartbreak, delight, satisfaction, and surprise in equal measure start to finish. I also learned a lot about roller coasters which felt like a nerdy bonus 🥰😆

Inspirational

This book came into my life at a very special moment, when I am facing many challenges about the way I talk to myself. I believe these challenges are something every person experiences. I love this book because it reminds us how important it is to pay attention to the way we speak to ourselves and the truths we choose to believe. It also shows that when we are in highly emotional situations, we are not always able to think clearly, and the things we tell ourselves in those moments are not always true but temporary. This book reminded me how essential it is to speak kindly to ourselves, believe in the positive, and recognize what does not define us in order to grow.

I loved this book! It is amazing how the author engaged me in the very first page, with two powerful women whose path joins to find out the truth that is hunting them. It is a book full of adventure and intrigue, with a lot of twists and turns that would leave you breathless and wanting to know how this would end. I think that the author's writing is incredible, it balanced perfectly emotional moments with a mystery to solve. I'm also a huge fan of the protagonist, they are unstoppable, even when they are passing through a pretty difficult moment, they had the strength to keep fighting to know this twisted truth. A must read.

It all begins with a plane crash. There are no survivors. Two men, apparently strangers, were on the plane. After the tragedy, two women are widowed, Eva and Harper, each with their own life story but with one thing in common: unmasking the lies of their deceased husbands.

This book has undoubtedly captivated me throughout. The plot is very good, well thought out and elaborate. The characters, especially those of Eva and Harper, are majestic. Two women taking their destiny into their own hands and trying to unravel the lies of their deceased husbands.

I certainly recommend this read to all readers who love mystery plots.

This novel is one of the most exciting novels I have read in the last month. ‘’Flight Path’’ will unite two women in a single mission to uncover the people behind their husbands' deaths. With this incredible plot and the mystery and the intrigue will be present on every page of this novel. This novel will keep readers guessing until the end. As Eva and Harper investigate further into their husband's final hours, they uncover a web of lies, betrayals, and secrets. What began as a search for truth soon becomes a fight for survival and to protect the truth. With a lot at stake, this novel will captivate you from the beginning, so don't hesitate to read this great novel.

I have to say, I was completely drawn into this book from the start. The story is full of surprises and a constant, intense tension that often made me rethink my guesses. It was fascinating to follow the lives of Eva and Harper, two women with very different but equally strong personalities.

What I loved most is how the story blends mystery with the most human emotions, such as loss, mistrust, and the need to know the truth. There were times I felt my heart racing, and other times I just couldn’t stop reading. Flight Path is a strong, well-told story with a really surprising ending. I highly recommend this incredible tale!

A gripping mystery thriller...

Suzanne C. Carver's Flight Path captivated me from the first page. Eva and Harper's lives are turned upside down following a devastating plane crash, and truths about their husbands are revealed to the world. What begins as a sense of melancholy quickly evolves into a compelling quest for the truth and one's identity. Carver's ability to combine aspects of mystery, emotion, and strength in an authentic manner impressed me. The unexpected turns of events caught me off guard, and I was rooting for both of the women. It's suspenseful, intense, and impossible to put down.

I was really into this story. I like how the book started with a lot of suspense and these two strong women figuring things out and trying to go from there. I liked how smooth the narration felt, very engaging; and it was easy for me to get lost in the story and Eva and Harper.
Personally, I think that although there's a really cool plot going on, the narration style the author has adds a lot to it; it shows emotion and care for he characters.
Overall, I think it's a very good read and I love this idea of finding yourself and facing truths.

A roller coaster of a ride Which is appropriate for a main character who design such rides. The story moves slowly at time as tension is built. Then it moves at a breakneck pass for a short time as the protagonist tries to unscramble the twists and turns in her deceased husband’s past. I received an advance copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher and voluntarily provided an honest review.
