I read this is just over a day and I could not put it down !!!! The writing is so good and to be honest, I loved all of the characters! There was so much heart in this book, and I thoroughly am attached to Tate, Monroe and Hudson! Even the parents were incredible. Just a flipping good read that will leave you wanting more !! 🥹❤️x

When the Build-Up Hits, but the After Ends Too Soon...

Saving Monroe was an emotional and engaging read that kept me invested from beginning to end. Lissa Del handles themes of vulnerability, healing, and emotional growth with care, and Monroe’s journey felt heartfelt and real. The story does a great job building emotional tension and connection, making the slow burn toward Hudson feel earned.

I really enjoyed the development of their relationship, which is why I found myself wishing there had been more of them after they finally got together. Once Monroe and Hudson reached that point, I wanted to sit in their happiness a little longer and see more of how their relationship played out beyond the build-up.

While there were a few pacing moments that could have been smoothed out, they didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the story overall. This was a solid, emotionally driven romance that delivered strong character growth and meaningful moments — it just left me wanting a bit more time with the couple once everything finally fell into place.

This book is quite outside my wheelhouse of usual suspects, but I absolutely ADORED it! From start to finish. The opener was so intense, I’m pretty sure I forgot to breathe.

There was the love triangle (no spoilers), and it’s so difficult to not end up rooting for both of them to get the girl 😂

Also, we need to talk about that teaser for the next book in the series. OMG! 😱🙌🏼
