Cocoa, Clues, and Creepy Crawlies is Book 4 in the Chocolate Shop Mystery series by Morgana Best.
I absolutely LOVE this series.
Narel has hired a plumber to clear out a toilet in the alley behind her chocolate shop.
She discovers him dead covered in redback spiders. Was it an accident? Murder?
Well Narel's best friend Lettie is the prime suspect, and she has to clear her friends name, but she knows Lettie is hiding something.
I love Mongrel, Narel's rescue cat. The romance between Narel and Munroe is moving along nicely.
The mystery is well written and kept me guessing.
I love the characters so much and this is such a funny, fun cozy mystery that is hard to put down.
Can't wait for the next book in the series.

This is the 4th book in The Chocolate Shop Mystery series. Narel has hired a plumber to remove an outdoor toilet behind her shop. Narel is using Bob the Plumber who’s available but not well-loved. He’s expensive and always finds additional tasks that need to be done. But she doesn’t expect to find him dead, face first in the toilet which is full of redback spiders.
Somehow Lettie becomes the chief suspect so Narel and Monroe are off to find the murderer. Read this to find if Mongrel will once again save the day

There are developed characters, a solid plotline, and an attack cat.
