Will You Still Love Me

Rate this book
Nevermind me falling in love by the end of the night, somehow she stole my heart in five minutes.

Daisy Fletcher has spent the last four years of her life focusing on her job and her daughter, Poppy—swearing off relationships. But in a moment of weakness, under twinkling stars, she says “screw it” and lets Walker drive her back to her hotel.

Walker Barlow may be used to all eyes being on him as one of the top goalies in the NHL, but when her dark green eyes find his from across the courtyard, all of his fame and fortune seem to fade away.

What could have been a one-night stand turns into something much bigger than either of them expected. Walker will do anything to show both Daisy and Poppy that he’s in it for the long haul. When push comes to shove, can he prove that he’ll always go the distance?

What a super sweet and wholesome romance. I loved it! The author had a very nice writing style and I finished it in two sittings. The MMC was such a wonderful guy and also the FMC was a favorite. It was all about love and starting a new chapter. I will definitely read more books from this author.

sweeetnesss overload!!
This was the most wholesome book I've ever read
-mmc was so patient and gentle -he's honestly the highlight of the book I LOVE HIM!!
also Poppy was the most adorable 4-year-old ever!

I was a little sad that MMC was a hockey player (not that I dont love a hockey romance), the first 2 books were baseball romances, hence the series being called "Take Me Out"... so I was a little disappointed

-very fast paced with short chapters; the plot took place over a few months (though it felt so much faster & insta-lovey)
-as per the "insta lovey" feel, I wanted a bigger build up? I'm not sure how to explain it
-I felt like Poppy's dialogue was a little too advanced for a 4 almost 5-year-old..

rtc!

Book 3 in the “take me out” series.

I think this was my favorite!

I loved everything about this book.

Daisy is a single mom to 4 year old Poppy. She works as a physical therapist for Noah and Conner’s baseball team. (MMC in books 1 and 2)

Walker is best friends with Noah and Conner and is a NHL goalie. They meet at Noah and Audrey’s wedding shower, and they have the cutest connection.

I really connected with Daisy in this book, as I was also a single mom with a 4 year old.

I felt her fear, her hesitation, her worry.

Walker is the perfect cinnamon roll MMC. Who wouldn’t want a walker in their life.

This book has great banter, a very cute and forward little girl, a great support system, loving friends and found family, and walkers world famous waffles 🧇

I loved this book so much!

This series has been amazing!

Walker and Daisy were such a cute couple. I loved that they took their time in the relationship. They got to know each other. They had their ups and downs but it made their relationship just more real. With Daisy being a single mom too.

Poppy was just soooo cute and funny hahha! I loved that they had a flower name tradition for the girls :)

I loved when walker was finally introduced to poppy and the bond they created in the book! The epilogue had me in awe. The wedding and the surprise in the end was too precious!

Walker ain’t afraid of getting a pretty makeover and crying. Daisy isn’t afraid to put people in their place.

I highly recommend this book and the series!!!

4.5/5 rounded up to 5/5

I received a review copy and these are my thoughts:

Sparks fly between Daisy and Walker as they strike up a conversation during their friends’ rehearsal dinner. He drives her to their hotel and she offers to share her spare bed with him. Their could-have-been-one-night-stand turns into a conversation into the early hours and the beginning of a friendship that has potential for more, if only Daisy hadn’t sworn off relationships…

I devoured this book! I loved Daisy and Walker and her daughter Poppy.
Daisy had a traumatic backstory, having been the victim of assault. I feel like Klassen takes great care when she touches on difficult and traumatic subjects like SA and domestic violence (like in Build Me Up). Daisy is very protective of herself and her daughter for obvious reasons but the way Walker is gentle and patient with her was so heartwarming. The guy was all green flags and yumminess! He was also so sweet and caring towards Poppy, it was heart melting.

I really enjoyed that even though sparks flew like crazy between them that first night, that they built a solid friendship before getting into a physical relationship. But once they did, it was sizzling! Walker and Daisy were the definition of meant to be.

I loved all the Disney references! Brought out my inner 90s child!

Once again, Klassen nailed the found family trope. I really do think it’s one of her strong suits.

Overall, even though the plot was tough at times, it was handled with care and the story was heartwarming and even delightful. Bonus points for this being on the shorter side and with short chapters!

*There are no on-page descriptions of SA, just mentioned as something that happened in the past and its consequences. Always check trigger warnings.

I absolutely love this author! Her books are always full of short chapters, swoony book boyfriends, loveable characters, cozy vibes and spice and I've loved them all so far! Some I even still think about!

Unfortunately though this will not one of them. I did not enjoy this one at all. It has some huge plot holes, unrealistic and juvenile interactions between the MFC and MMC, insanely fast timeline (even for instalove), and some scenes that gave me the ick.

That being said, I do highly recommend the first two books in this series and of course all of her other books! They are fantastic and super loveable!

My Review

Will You Still Love Me is one of those rare books that doesn’t just tell a story—it wraps itself around your heart and refuses to let go 💞. From the very first chapter, I knew this book would stay with me, but I never expected it to carve out a space this deep or this personal. 🌸

Caitlin Klassen delivers a beautifully raw and emotionally layered journey about love, loss, healing, and choosing someone even when life feels messy 💔➡️❤️. The writing is so intimate and honest that it feels like you’re living every moment alongside the characters. Every chapter tugged on something different—hope ✨, heartbreak 💧, nostalgia 🌙, longing 💫—and somehow it all blends into a story that hits you right in the chest.

The characters? Absolutely unforgettable 🥺. Their vulnerability, their fears, their quiet moments, their breaking points… everything felt so real. And the romance? Soft, aching, meaningful—the kind that grows slowly and stays with you long after you close the book 💗🔥.

There were scenes that made my heart squeeze tight 💓, and others that made me stop just to breathe and take it in. That’s what makes this story unforgettable—it’s not just beautiful, it’s emotionally resonant in a way that lingers like a whisper. ✨🌙

This book reminded me why I love reading: to feel something deeply, to be moved, to carry a piece of a story with me long after it’s over. Will You Still Love Me is exactly that kind of book—a comfort read, a heart read, a forever read 💕📖.

"I won't let you fall, Daisy." But I've definitely fallen.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I've held off on writing my review because I really don't know how to put how I feel into words as eloquently as I would like to. But let's try.

Caitlin Klassen never fails to give us wholesome, green-flag MMCs who absolutely worship their FMCs.
Every single book of Caitlin's that I read, I know for a fact that I'm going in for a heartwarming time that will make me smile, giggle, and kick my feet.

I absolutely adored how open with communication Walker was, while also being so, so patient with Daisy. I swear, every time Caitlin gives me a new man, she knocks the last one off the pedestal - they just get better and better.

"I want Walker with every fiber of my heart. All ways and always."

Daisy is strong and fierce. She looks after everyone around her, never putting herself first - and Walker ensuring she gets everything she deserves is everything to me.
Her protectiveness of Poppy is absolutely beautiful, and I love seeing Walker's interactions with her.

Caitlin writes with such raw emotion, drawing on her own experiences.
With this book, I feel very honoured to have the privilege of reading something so close to her heart.
It's incredibly brave to write this, and I can only hope it was as cathartic as it felt it was.

Thank you, so incredibly much, Caitlin, for the opportunity to read this eARC!

Well what a sweet fantastic book of true love this was. I was so pleasantly surprised, Will You Still Love Me is like a cuddle in your bed on a cold day type book and I ate.it.up!! Fully!!
Daisy and her 4 year old daughter Poppy are absolutely adorable. You fall in love with both of them instantly. While the story behind them is heart breaking it’s an incredibly story how strong and resilient Daisy is! Remarkable 💕 She is the definition of a great mom and always putting Poppy first.
Walker and Daisy randomly meet Walker at a wedding. They accidentally spend the night sharing a hotel room and become instant friends. The way this man falls for her and is 💯 all in and proves how devoted he is to her uhggg SWOON!!
I love this man so much. I loved this book soooo damn much! Another one of those books that stays in your soul 🖤🩷🖤

Daisy and Walker. Walker and Daisy. I have been waiting for this story for what seems like forever!
We all knew Daisy from the last two books but I loved learning more about her and getting some insight in her thoughts. Walker… immediately loved Walker. He is such a gentleman and a nervous cutie.
I really enjoyed this book. The author had a perfect mix of light-hearted conversations and serious topics.
Honestly, anything with Disney songs, cute nicknames and sports references will immediately be an amazing book for me.

I absolutely love my girl Caitlin Klassen and will forever recommend her! I love her short chapters, the giddiness that her reads give me, and the emotional and tough topics that she discusses within her books. In this story, Caitlin tackled an extremely difficult trauma that, unfortunately, is more prevalent in the world than discussed.

With that being said, this read was missing something for me, and I was really feeling some plot holes. I wanted more of Daisy's back story, perhaps with fashbacks regarding her trauma. I felt a disconnect with who she is now and understanding some of her trauma responses compared to who she may have been prior to her trauma.

What I loved about this read was Poppy - she was so stinkin' cute, green flag boyfriend, Walker, and the found and supportive family that this series has had.

I highly recommend checking this series out! I absolutely adored the first two books!

I was gifted this e-arc by Caitlin Klassen so I just wanted to say a massive thank you to her and her team for sending it my way.

This was a cute story and had the potential to be great but I felt a lot of the topics were only barely scraped through and deserved a deeper dive.

The characters were sweet but again there wasn’t a huge amount of depth to them or their stories but they definitely had the potential.

Overall I think the writing style is what distracted me, I really didn’t get on with it but that is by no fault of the author. Things were written a little bit too literally for me but that’s purely personal preference.

Overall I enjoyed the story and characters so I’m giving it a 3.25⭐️

This was such a lovely end to this series! It was absolutely filled with heartwarming & sweet moments. There are tough & painful topics that were touched on but the overall feel of this book was hope & joy. With a few tears thrown in because why not. So lovely.

Daisy is a single mom and physical therapist.

Walker is a professional hockey player.

They meet at a celebration for mutual friends. There are immediate sparks. He offers to drive her back to the hotel. He can't check in so she offers him her second bed. They spend the night talking. He goes home but they keep in touch. A lot. Like all the time. And a relationship sort of starts to develop. But he doesn't know about her kid and she is scared to tell him because she's scared he'll run.

Daisy is such a fun character. She is witty, clever, dorky for Disney, and the most focused mom for her Poppy. Her baby girl is her world and she is willing to give up everything for her, even the chance at love. Thankfully she has surrounded herself with good family who help her work through feelings and figure out what she wants. Her story is one that is not free of pain and it was treated so gently & respectfully.

Walker is a wonderful man who falls so hard and isn't sure what to do about it. He is at a crossroads in his career where he needs to decide if he is going to keep doing the pro hockey thing even though his body is like "dude, no" or pursue something new. Daisy definitely makes him look harder at that latter option and it is so sweet.

I loved these two together and how they talk about everything & nothing and celebrate each other. And when he meets her Poppy? Gah! The sweetest! Be still my heart, it is almost too much

Caitlin has such a great way of writing truly happy books. Her books are about finding & building happy lives and I enjoy them so much. She & they are such a bright spot in the bookish world.

I received this as an ARC and am forever grateful. This had no impact on my review.

Firstly, this book contains sensitive material that may be triggering for some.

We meet FMC, Daisy, taking a moment outside from her friend’s Wedding Shower celebration. She is startled by a male voice from behind her. This is our MMC, Walker.

From the moment they meet, the sparks fly, and as it turns out, they are staying at the same hotel, but Walker misses the check-in deadline. Well, Walker ends up sleeping in Daisy’s room on the other bed. The two of them spend hours talking until Walker has to leave to catch an early morning flight. They each exchanged contact details before he left.

They start texting and continue to get to know each other. During this time, I felt Daisy acted a little immature. For example, when she saw Walker on social media surrounded by women on New Year’s Eve, she became distant in her text replies to him and ignored his call to her.

I understand she is being cautious, considering what happened to her in the past and that she now has the responsibility of being a mother to her daughter, Poppy; still, she is not doing herself any favours by not trusting Walker and telling him she has a four-year-old daughter.

I liked that Caitlin didn’t drag out the secret daughter plot, as it allowed the story to continue to flow beautifully, giving Daisy and Walker their time and allowing Walker to establish a bond with Poppy.

Essentially, Daisy and Walker are beautiful people with their hearts in the right place. They have the support of their friends and ultimately deserve to be loved by each other.

This book gave me something to think about, and I thank Caitlin for bringing life to Daisy and Walker’s story, because they now have a piece of my heart.

Hey hey

If you’re a sports romance fan, I highly recommend this book, it’s one of the ones I can say whose plot and story will stick with me forever.

Such a charm and wholesomeness to this book, I loved reading each and every chapter, especially with each chapter have a a suggested track to play making up a whole playlist for the novel!

This is another one of favourite genres and often one to get me out of a reading slump when I’m in one.

This book had me wrapped rounds it pages, if one can ever say that! The story follows Daisy therapist for a baseball team situated in Kansas City and Walker an ice hockey player.

It starts with meeting in the most unconventional circumstances - sharing a room when attending their best friend’s wedding event!

A whole will they … won’t they .. the romantic intimacy is that on a level where your soul feels nourished in the sense the wholesomeness the characters bring. So brilliantly written by the author .. low key felt I was seeing the relationship come to life out of the pages.

If you’re fans of a wholesome cutesy romance with the old charm and chivalry, this will definitely be up your street!

*DISCLAIMER*

It’s includes the following trooes/concepts:

• Past Trauma
• Sworn off relationships
• Stranger to lovers
• One room proximity
• Single Mom
• Disney References
• Long distance relationship
• He falls first
• Chosen family
• Found family

P.S. can we also talk about the amazing book cover art!!

ADORE this BOOK

Daisy- Family means everything. Love of Disney films, strongest women and puts everyone else first. Single Mum to Poppy.

Walker - only child, NHL player his Mum means everything to him. Dad never around. His favourite disney film is Hercules 👌 not to mention ALL the Green flags.

These are both from my 2 favorite Disney Films can you guess them?

‘For a true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart’ right?”

“The flower that blooms in adversity is rarest and most beautiful of all.”

This is such an excellent read, it has amazing friendships with great banter throughout. Who also treat Poppy as their niece whether related or not! Seeing Daisy and Walkers mum's and their relationships with their them is beautifully done.

It also has some very hard hitting stuff so please read the triggers but it is covered in such a sensitive way.

Walker with poppy is adorable, nothing better than a man that will take on someone else's child as their own and love them better!

The most perfect ending 🥺

ARC book review.

This book had me feeling all the feels. I giggled, I screamed, and I cried—and it was oh so amazing.

I’ve loved hearing about Walker and Daisy in the past two books, so seeing them finally get their own story and happy ending had me jumping up and down with excitement.

Walker Barlow, the man that you are! He was so patient and gentle with Daisy, and it made me fall in love with him even more. Don’t even get me started on my ovaries whenever he was with Poppy—he’s such a devoted and tender soul. He’s dedicated, loyal, and the kind of man who loves wholeheartedly. His mom really did an amazing job raising him.

Daisy, you strong and beautiful woman. She’s such a wonderful mother, and despite how she got there, she always makes sure Poppy has everything she needs. I was so proud to see her finally start doing things for herself and choosing happiness—she deserves the world and more.

All their friends and family being so supportive made me so emotional, especially their parents. The way Poppy instantly adored Walker melted my heart because you could feel that’s what Daisy had always wanted for her daughter—a safe, loving presence.

And that ending? I was a sobbing mess. Poppy will always be loved and cherished.

This book was such a beautiful, heartwarming read, and I loved every single second of it.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a book this wholesome, sweet, and emotionally charged, one that made me cry happy tears and warmed my heart in equal parts.

The way Daisy and Walker’s story develops throughout the book is so natural and effortless that it’s impossible not to become their biggest, most fearless cheerleaders. And when Poppy truly makes her way into the story, everything turns into one big love fest.

Caitlin has created the perfect combination of banter, sass, Disney and The Office references, and those delicious longing and yearning moments that give the main couple the ideal playground to grow in their own unique way.

But if all of that wasn’t enough, get ready to experience what a real support system and chosen family truly look like: the kind of relationships that lift you up and love you even through the hardest moments. On that note, this book does touch on topics that can be quite triggering for some readers (SA), so please make sure to check the trigger warnings beforehand and take care of yourself.

I’m honestly glad this review is written and not spoken, because right now I feel like Monica trying to get her words out when proposing to Chandler: a crying mess!

I received an ARC of this book and all opinions are my own.

I wasn’t sure how I would have been able to handle this storyline. I am also part of the statistics and the week before reading this I was struggling very much with that trauma and the flashbacks. But Caitlin did such an incredible job bringing this story to life and telling it with so much respect.

Daisy and Walker meet at Noah’s an Audrey’s wedding shower. They hit it off right away and spent all night chatting after ending up sharing a room since Walker didn’t check in prior to the party and the front desk closed at 9pm. He fell for Daisy quickly and thinks about her all the time. They spend weeks exchanging texts back and forth but Daisy still keeps the fact that she’s a single mom to herself. She’s trying to protect Poppy but she’s also not sure how he would react. Connor of course puts her mind at ease. What she wasn’t expecting was for Walker to know exactly how she feels and how similar his story and Poppy’s is! This book was very special. I paced myself reading it. This series will forever hold a very special place in my heart. I rate this book 5 stars but it is definitely one of my top reads of 2025.

Synopsis✨
Daisy Fletcher has spent the last four years of her life focusing on her job and her daughter, Poppy—swearing off relationships. But in a moment of weakness, under twinkling stars, she says “screw it” and lets Walker drive her back to her hotel.

What could have been a one-night stand turns into something much bigger than either of them expected. Walker will do anything to show both Daisy and Poppy that he’s in it for the long haul. When push comes to shove, can he prove that he’ll always go the distance?

Thoughts✨
This author writes the sweetest romance books! From relatable fmc’s to all around green flag mmc’s. Tackling some real issues with trademark sensitivity and honesty is always refreshing in these books.
I enjoyed Daisy and Walkers story, but I did find the insta love a bit too much for me. I liked being back in the baseball world I’ve come to love from the other two books in the series and seeing the other characters come together to help this couple was heartwarming.

Thank you to the author for providing a digital arc of this book. All opinions are my own.

“The greatest risk any of us will take is to be seen as we are.” – Cinderella

This was Daisy. She was more than her past, being a single mom, being a physical therapist but what she never felt was that she can be a normal 25 year old woman.

Her priorities are simple: her career and her daughter. Her adorable, scene stealing 4 year old daughter.

Those two things are all she knows plus anything Disney (a girl after my own heart!).

But then in comes, Walker. Who not only knows how to quote Disney too (major green flag) but he also knows a lot more about Daisy’s situation than she knows…

Will You Still Love Me is for the Disney lovers who have now grown up. Heartwarming. Raw. Sweet. Nostalgic.

If you like these tropes:
💜Single Mom
💜Hockey Goalie MMC
💜Strangers to Lovers
💜Long Distance Relationship
💜He falls hard and fast
💜Chosen Family
💜Disney Movie References

Then Will You Still Love Me is for you.

Please be aware that there are a few sensitive topics in this book so please read the trigger warnings before proceeding.

Thank you Caitlin for giving me the opportunity to ARC read.

Will You Still Love Me was such a wholesome, heartfelt story that made me smile, swoon, and tear up all at once.

Daisy Fletcher’s world revolves around her daughter Poppy and her work as a physical therapist for the baseball team. Love hasn’t been on her list for a long time. But one wedding, one car ride, and one unforgettable night with NHL goalie Walker Barlow change everything.

Walker might be used to crowds cheering his name, but Daisy and Poppy quickly become the only two that matter. The way he stepped up, the way he loved her quietly and steadily says he’s the definition of a green flag.

I loved seeing Walker step into Daisy and Poppy’s life with patience, care, and heart. Their journey felt raw, relatable, and full of emotion.

I adored watching their connection grow naturally. The late-night talks about Disney movies and The Office, the sweet Poppy moments, and the genuine way Walker fit into their world—it all felt real.

This story made me believe in soft love, second chances, and the kind of man who shows up every single time.

Will you still love me

Book three of the Take me out series and my favorite out of all of them. Walker Barlow broke the mould when it came to green flag book boyfriends! From the relationship he has with his mom, “Everything I am, is because of you,” to Daisy and everything in between.

The banter between these two was like the whip cream on top of waffles, perfection!
I loved seeing all the characters from the past books in the series as I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to them yet.

WYSLM touched on a heavy topic in such a gentle way, and turned it into such a beautiful, full circle moment for our beloved characters to share when they were ready.

I lost count of how many times this book made me cry, but honestly, I think that’s Caitlin’s goal in life. My husband was sitting next to me mocking me as I wept, or would let out a little sob, but the writing just takes your breath away at times.

The story wraps up so beautifully that even though you’ll always find yourself wanting more, you don’t feel lacking. I’ll just say, my heart grew three sizes reading this book.

This was fantastic!

I don’t know how Caitlin Klassen can make the greenest of green flag MMC’s (which are not always my thing) just absolutely everything we need! In this, we follow Daisy and Walker. Daisy is a single mom to four-year-old Poppy (who is the BEST!), she’s been afraid to bring a man into her daughter’s life just for it to not work out. She is also the baseball team’s physical therapist, and Audrey (from book 1) is Poppy’s nanny. Walker is an NHL player, and he went to college with Noah (from book 1). Daisy and Walker meet at Audrey and Noah’s wedding shower, and there’s an instant connection. They start a texting relationship, because they live a few states apart. As they get closer, Daisy starts worrying about the repercussions of starting something serious with Walker and having to introduce him to Poppy and it not working out. I love all the characters in this series, as well as the new ones we meet in this book. This does have some heavy topics so please check trigger warnings before starting it.

I can never say anything bad about this authors books! Mrs. Klassen is an amazing writer and i absolutely have enjoyed every single one of her books thus far! They are filled with relationships that you could only dream of. The book boyfriends that you have to have all come out of her books :), the down home, your my world, type of guy. She makes me fall in love with every single one of her books, and this one was no different. Walker and Daisy are truly one of my favorite characters which is hard to say cause I love them all, lol but they have a chemistry from the very beginning. Daisy reminded me so much of myself, the hesistation, the wondering, and I love how Walker handled that, he didint dismiss it, or push it under the rug,he made it an important part of his courting persay, if it was important to her than those feelings and emotions were important for him to. I cant say this enough that every single one of her books are masterpieces and I am so thankful that I am blessed to get to read them.

Every time Caitlin releases another book, I say it’s my favorite, and this one is once again my favorite! Every book from this series has been special and amazing in it’s own way, and WYSLM makes no exception to that!

When I picture a cinnamon roll MMC, Walker is the new picture of that phrase. He’s soft, caring, and everything you could ever hope for out of an MMC for a character like Daisy. He cares about the little things, and about getting to know her, which is exactly what I pictured for Daisy.

The two, combined with Daisy’s
daughter Poppy, make an exceptional trio.

Throughout the entire story, watching Daisy break down those walls she put up, watching her realize how Walker cares, it was heartwarming and so beautiful to see.

Between the cameos from our other favorite couples, and seeing this love story play out. I was swooning, smiling, crying (typical Caitlin making me cry), and laughing.

This story is beautiful, heartwarming, and everything I love about Caitlin Klassen and her writing.

I had the absolute joy of reading Will You Still Love Me as an ARC, and I can honestly say this story touched my heart in ways I didn’t expect. Caitlin Klassen has such a beautiful way of writing about love that feels raw, real, and deeply human.

This book isn’t just about falling in love; it’s about holding on to love, learning from pain, and finding your way forward even when life feels heavy. The characters felt like people I could reach out and hug—flawed, hopeful, and full of heart. The themes of found family and healing really resonated with me.

Reading this book reminded me how precious love really is, and how important it is to live with a full, open heart and a positive outlook. I laughed, I cried, and by the end, I felt lighter.

Thank you to Caitlin Klassen for letting me be part of this journey early. Will You Still Love Me is full of heart, hope, and healing, and I can’t wait for everyone else to experience it. 💕
