Betrayed from the inside, Marcus becomes the target of Nexus, a shadow network manipulating world powers and profiting from chaos. His only unlikely ally? Katerina Tigrov, a deadly SVR agent with her own vendetta. From Berlin to Prague to Brussels, they must expose the conspiracy before it ignites World War III.

Full Description

CIA operative Marcus Kane has spent six years hunting terrorists across the globe, but nothing could prepare him for the mission that shatters his loyalty to the Agency itself. What begins as a covert operation in storm-drenched Berlin quickly spirals into a deadly trap, exposing a conspiracy buried deep within Langley.

Targeted for elimination by his own mentor, Marcus is forced into an uneasy alliance with Katerina Tigrov, a lethal and enigmatic SVR agent with secrets of her own. Their only chance of survival lies in exposing Nexus—a shadow organization manipulating world powers, orchestrating chaos, and profiting from the brink of war.

From the rain-slicked streets of Berlin to the abandoned runways of Tempelhof, from the labyrinthine catacombs of Prague to the high-stakes summit in Brussels, Marcus and Katerina must navigate a world where every ally may be an enemy and every truth hides another lie. But as bullets fly and revelations cut deeper than any blade, the line between professional duty and forbidden desire begins to blur.

With time running out and a global conspiracy threatening to ignite World War III, Marcus and Katerina must can they truly trust each other—or will their fragile alliance be the final move in Nexus’s deadly game?

The Nexus Protocol is a pulse-pounding spy thriller packed with betrayal, explosive action, and heart-stopping twists—perfect for fans of Jason Matthews, Daniel Silva, and Lee Child.

SVR, Really?
This piece of vintage espionage delves into the human foibles of trust and betrayal in relationships, also embracing believable romantic tensions between Marcus and Katerina, until the CIA does what it does best. Meanwhile, Marcus languishes in Berlin and then turns to Russia, yes, Russkies.
