Anything For You: A Small Town Romance

Rate this book
Nothing says success like waking up in your new landlord’s bed after breaking into his house thinking it was yours, am I right? Perfect Goldilocks moment. I blame the fact I had to sell my home, I’m working double over time, and I’m completely exhausted.

It’s fine. I’m fine. Everything’s fine.

And surprisingly, so is the reclusive, broody ex-soldier who’s now my neighbor and landlord. Stone's been through hell and climbed his way out again. He’s strong, thoughtful, and so different from what I once assumed.

He also proves himself to be someone I can trust, and for a woman who can’t trust her own family, that’s no small thing. His friendship and support eases some of the burden I’ve been living under for months. When our relationship blooms into more, I feel truly safe for the first time in ages.

I’ve always wanted someone of my own. But just when I’ve finally found him, my past comes back with a vengeance and leaves me stranded without a safety net.

But there’s no choice here. I was a goner from the day I woke up in Stone's bed. I’m claiming some happiness while I can. I just have to survive long enough to take it.

Anything For You is a fade to black small town romance. For additional content information, see the author's website. Or, you know, just read the book and enjoy!

This has been one of my most anticipated reads for the year, and I was super stoked to get an ARC opportunity for it!

This was easily one of my top 5 Claire Cain reads. Dove and Dorian are two characters who have huge hearts and they each have deep love and care for those around them. Dove is adorably awkward and her internal monologue when thinking about love and life and Dorian made me giggle more than once. Dorian is literally one of the most sweet cinnamon rolls I’ve had the pleasure of reading. He shows love by feeding people, and I don’t know anything better than that.

These MCs have been through so much individually, and their relationship felt so satisfying to witness after learning about them in the previous books of the series. One of the best aspects of Claire’s writing is the found family among the characters. The female friendships are strong, but the camaraderie among the Saint Security members, particularly Dorian and his bros, was so refreshing to read.

Dove and Dorian’s love was raw and honest and tender and ugh, just so sweet. I loved it. Y’ALL, they write each other notes.🥹😭 Need I say more? You should really read this book.

Thanks to Claire for the ARC. All thoughts are very much my own.🤩

This was a great story! It was definitely packed with emotion and deep, soul searching. Both Dove and Dorian have been through so much in their lives and have worked through many things that have impacted them. I loved the way they both were there for each other and supported each other in every single way they needed to. I have read some of the other books of the series, but not all of them, but I knew that I wanted to go ahead and skip to reading this one and see how things worked out for Dorian, who had struggled with severe PTSD in earlier books as a side character. His story was a great way to finish out the series.

Excellent small town romance.. This guy is a teddy bear. The baking! The pure and utter sweetness in these men is so compelling, and just so addictive. Another winner! It made me emotional, and I needed a hug when I finished it.

“I’m not here to fix you, but I’m sure as hell not scared of your broken pieces.”

Wow I cannot believe this amazing series has come to an end! I have loved the journey, and I am thankful Claire let me be part of it from the start! Dorian and Dove were perfect for each other. They both had unique things that made me admire them and I adored Dove’s quirkiness. One thing that really stuck out to me in this last book was how this whole story has the best found family! I seriously loved each person for different reasons and none of them would be the same without each other. As always, Claire put so much heart and goodness into this story and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us in the future!

Anything For You is the 7th and final book in the Veterans of Silver Ridge series, featuring Former Special Ops solider, Dorian Stone, and nurse, Dove Jensen. Stone and Dove have both been through so much. Dorian struggles with PTSD and everything that comes with that. Dove escaped a cult at the age of 15 after her parents were killed and her brother was sent to juvey. They both struggle with being comfortable in social situations. Dove has a tendency to get awkward. Her nervous rambling is something I definitely related to. Dorian can’t be around a crowd and limits his interactions with others. Dorian wonders if he could ever find someone who would want him and all the baggage that he brings to a relationship. Dove is lonely and wants to find her person. They are brought together when Dove rents Dorian’s other cabin. They have a hilarious meet cute that thoroughly embarrasses Dove. They slowly build a friendship through handwritten notes, food left on porches, and more painfully awkward interactions. Dorian was nervous and unsure at first but his growing affection for Dove made him push past the uncomfortableness. I loved watching their friendship grow into something more. They were SO cute.

While there were lots of funny moments, what really made this book special to me was the tenderness and vulnerability they shared toward one another. They were both wanting to constantly check in on the other one. Dorian knew Dove was lonely and seeing her friend’s happiness was bittersweet. He knew she pushed herself to work a lot to help pay for her grandmother’s care. He also knew her brother had a tendency to upset her. Dove was so understanding and very sensitive to Dorian’s needs. She learned to read him and picked up on his non verbal cues well. She was very observant and anticipated Dorian’s needs before he had to ask. The way they took care of each other when she was sick and he had a nightmare completely melted my heart. I loved the way they were so open and willing to communicate with each other, even when it was difficult to share.

I felt like Claire did an excellent incredible job navigating and addressing struggles that many returning soldiers have to deal with. I love that Dorian had a therapist and talked about how therapy, medication, and lifestyle habits had helped him. The team at Saint Security was truly something special. They showed up for each other. They pushed and challenged each other but also encouraged and cheered for each other. Their relationships with each other made them all so endearing. I love how they all found family in one another.

Anything For You was the perfect cherry on top to an incredible series. I have loved each and every story. I’m so thankful for the epilogues at the end of this book that show us glimpses into the future. The daycare scene was pure perfection.

Anything for You is the final book (#7) in the Veterans of Silver Ridge series. I have been waiting for this book to be released. I began this series in the middle with book 3 Inspired by You and had to rush back to the beginning to catch up.

This book is the happily ever after story of Dove and Stone (Dorian). Dove and Stone have both been introduced in the previous books but this is their chance to be the focus and main characters. They both come into this story with heavy baggage (see the note below), but with the deep desire to find the person who will love them for who they are underneath the outside visible person. Dove starts the book off with a bizarre misunderstanding that lands her in the wrong bed because of sheer exhaustion and a new home. She then shows her first of many scenes of embarrassed babbling. Stone, although startled and nervous, tries to make the best of the situation. Meet Bear, Stone's emotional support dog, who does an amazing job of offering comfort Stone and later to Dove at the perfect moment. What begins as a friendship and a way to support each other builds slowly to something more and keeps the reader totally engrossed while turning the page. Watching Dove help Stone learn to work past his agoraphobia and struggles with being in groups of people while also seeing Stone learn that people change organically when they love someone and it is okay to change, reminded me that everyone has struggles in life and each person has to decide what the next step will be. There is also the aspect of Dove's past coming back to haunt her, Stone saving her, and their finding true love that makes for an amazing story.

As I mentioned earlier, these two characters come with some heavy baggage from their past. Claire offers a clear content warning at the beginning of the story to offer readers a chance to prepare for the sensitive topics that will be addressed in the story. On that note, she does an excellent job of realistically addressing some very real issues of returning soldiers (such as PTSD, depression, suicidal thoughts, and more), verbal and physical abuse, cult membership and other issues. Claire deals with these topics in a sensitive and real way, please take the warning into consideration.

I would definitely recommend this story. There is an epilogue at the end of this story that wraps up the overall series and then a second bonus epilogue from 10 years in the future to just give a brief reminder. If you haven't read the whole series, they probably won't be helpful but a they are a good way to wrap up a series.

I received an ARC copy of this book and I am leaving an honest voluntary review.

I have loved every single book that I've read in this series, but Dorian (Stone) and Dove's might just be a new favorite! First of all, that first interaction on page? So perfectly awkward... the first of several awkward moments that made Dove so very endearing! While the story started off making me smile, it was the tenderness and vulnerability that truly made this story a favorite. Both of these characters have been through some tough times in their pasts that they are continuing to work through. Their stories are not easy ones, but I thought these tougher topics were handled so beautifully... and realistically. Dorian's struggles with PTSD, depression and agoraphobia felt so familiar to me as someone who has likewise battled all of these things, and I loved seeing that represented so well... and seeing his growth? I just loved it. There was such a tenderness between these two, perfectly blended with their amazing chemistry... I didn't want their story to end! This is a story that will stick with me for a long time, I have no doubts. If you love a protective MMC and emotional romances that tackle the hard stuff, this is absolutely one not to be missed.

Anything For You is a closed-door romance with fade to black/implied intimacy. It does have some innuendo and discussions of sex as well as some minor language as well. It is the seventh and final book in the Veterans of Silver Ridge series. While I think that this could be enjoyed as a standalone (I've only personally read half of the previous books), I do think those who have read from the beginning will appreciate it that much more--- especially the series epilogue at the end.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Y’all I'm so sad this series is ending but what a perfect ending story!!!

I’ve been wanting Dorian’s (and even Dove’s) story since they first appeared on page. And boy was it with the wait!! I love me a hero who needs someone to heal his wounds and show him he can be vulnerable and safe with her. And the same goes for the heroine too! Dove and Dorian were what each other needed at the perfect time. Too soon and Dorian wouldn’t have been ready to share what he did and open himself up and Dove might’ve been too gun-shy about men and such because of how she grew up. Seeing how the guys supported Dorian through the series to come to this moment was heartstring tugging and I loved it.

Both of them taking care of each other when Dove was sick and Dorian had a nightmare was sooo good! And just their slow but steady friendship and fast falling at the same time was a joy to read. The little notes and gifts are something I would love me and my eventual boyfriend/husband to do because it’s just so cute and thoughtful! Oh and I totally agree with the girls that it is soo attractive and a lot more when big guys or even just any guy is going goo goo eyes over a baby! And holding them 🫠🫠. Yea I loved the girls’ get togethers and their camaraderie and sisterhood as much as the brotherhood in these books. The cheering on for each other and advice and even a kick in the pants when needed is something I hope everyone can have!

Seriously seeing them heal each other was wonderful and even the epilogue for both this book and the series was tearjerking but I am excited for what lies ahead and Claire’s promise we’ll see these characters make cameos in the future!! I’m gonna go read some more of her books but I don’t think they’ll mean as much to me as this series did!

Deliciously AWKWARD meet-cute, with Dorian and his dog Bear. Oh, this story! So good.

This is the seventh and final book in the Veterans of Silver Ridge series. FINALLY, we get "Stone's" story. He's a quiet man, and on the Saint Security team, but has had to deal with issues with severe depression and PTSD so he isn't seen out as often as the other Saint men. We've seen Beast (Jude), Cookie (Luc) and Barbie (Kenny) visit him weekly for tea and his latest pastry masterpieces previously. Stone (Dorian) bakes pastries as a hobby, even anonymously supplying them to the local book club. Early on, when he's talking with Dove (after she has stuck her foot in her mouth royally) he's thinking he wonders if she likes pie?

Dove works as a nurse, and has recently had to sell her grandmother's home and settle her grandma in the local assisted living facility. Dove is now leasing from Dorian, because she previously lived with her grandmother. She's a sensitive, empathetic soul, but boy can she blunder a conversation!

Dove and Dorian both have mutual friends as support. (The found family in Claire Cain's books is second to none.) You get a brief introduction to them all, and their stories are all in the previous 6 books if you want to read them too. This book stands alone quite nicely, but if you love this book, and I think you will - you will love the rest of the series as well.

It's fun how Dove talks to the reader as though you're part of the group and one of her close friends.

This is a closed-door/fade to black romance. Intimacy is referenced but not elaborated on.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book is beyond adorable. Dove and Stone completely stole the show—Stone especially melted my heart. There’s something so beautiful about a character who has been through tragedy yet remains so compassionate. Despite everything he’s faced, Stone is kind—kind to Dove, kind to everyone—and that was the most redeeming and heartwarming quality about him. I also loved how the book handled mental health with such respect. Stone’s challenges felt real, and while he isn’t magically “cured” by the end, he’s in a better, healthier place—and that’s what truly matters.

Dove was just as wonderful. I loved that she’s a nurse, that she’s endured her own hardships (including her terrible family), and yet she remains sweet, resilient, and kind. Her friendships with the other characters in the series were adorable, and I especially loved how she supported and cared for Stone in return.

The romance in this book was A+—a slow burn filled with plenty of kissing, heartfelt communication, and healthy dynamics. The “taking care of her when she’s sick” scene, the cuddling, the hugs, and the sweet notes all had me swooning. I loved how their love felt inevitable, like they simply couldn’t help but fall for each other.

The side characters were also a highlight. Kenny is still such a ray of sunshine, and I adored seeing Jess and Jude again. This series consistently emphasizes the importance of friendship, which made everything even richer. I also enjoyed the light romantic suspense woven into the story—it added tension without overshadowing the main conflict.

Overall, this was an amazing book and a beautiful conclusion to the series. I can’t recommend it enough!

This was a wonderful book. I love Dove and Dorian. The story starts with Dove picking the lock to the house she has rented from Dorian. She is so exhausted that she finds the bedroom, crawls into bed, and falls asleep. She wake-up a few hours later, she sees a shadow of a man in the doorway and screams. Once she shesettles down and realizes the man is her landlord, Dorian, and he tells her she's in his house, she just can't believe she messed up so badly. She starts apologizing to him and then starts crying, she's still exhausted. She then apologizes for crying to which Dorian replies, "You don’t have to apologize for crying. Your feelings are valid.” (This is where I started falling in love with Dorian.) Anyway, Dove had never been told her feelings were valid and that touched her. This is a wonderful story of true love, healing, and understanding and/or acceptance of each other's feelings. Dorian has PTSD and is recovering from severe depression. Thanks to his wonderful ex-military friends, he knows he is loves and can make it in life. He has coping skills to help him when he's having one of his "moments". Dove is a wacky lady who survived being raised in a cult. She escaped that cult after 15 after her parents died and her older brother ended up in juvie. She went to live with her grandmother, Nan. I loved the humor, the tender moments, the way Dorian and Dove could be so honest with each other about everything, even intimacy, nothing described. If you like a good romantic suspense, you'll love this story.

This being the last book of the series was so bittersweet. But what a way to end it on Dorian and Dove's love story. Both of these characters had been through so much already, and seeing them get their HEA was so satisfying.

I love Dorian, he is such a gentle giant. My heart ached for him, and all that he had gone through. But his inner strength was so inspiring, and honestly, I loved that he had a very healthy approach to mental health.

Dove is me, and I am Dove. JK. I just adored her, she is spunky and a weirdo. But her experiences made her strong, full of character, and optimism.

The sweet friendship that developed between Dorian and Dove is everything to me—the passing of the notes, the pies and treats, him cooking for her—it was my favorite thing. Their awkward interactions stole my heart. It was an achingly slow burn, but once they acknowledged their feelings, it burned hot and fast. They really had to fight hard through their fears and anxiety, ultimately making that conscious step to choose each other despite those fears. It was very beautifully done!

This book resonated with me the most. The way Claire handles the topic of mental health and how negatively it can impact a person was powerful.

I really recommend this book, and honestly, this whole series. You will not be disappointed!

Thank you to Claire Cain for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

I have been so invested in Silver Ridge for awhile that it feels like home. This finale in the series absolutely was the whipped cream on the top of the peach pie of the amazing family of veterans at Saint Security. I've been waiting for Stone's story for awhile and Dove was definitely the perfect match for him! I love how they dealt with their traumatic pasts together and continually emphasized communication and using words instead of just following the path in their minds to assumptions and believing the lies in their minds. The author addressed very delicate issues with gentleness, mercy and wisdom, lending some very real world advice to people who struggle. Well done!
Some favorite lines in the book:

"...he left me to contemplate life's cruel reality of a hand now empty that'd once been held by his."

"All that brightness can end up casting a shadow on the places that feel most tender."

"To your broken pieces. Every bit of you is beautiful and worthy of love."

"She'd taken the rays of the fall sunrise, stolen them right out of the sky, and they were shining directly back at me."

Claire Cain has continued her tradition of swoony heroes and the women who fall for them! Anything For You was a great read!

Let me start by saying that usually I love that Claire Cain writes novels. Real, full length books and not the little books that are really novellas and you can knock out in an afternoon. Loving that it is a novel was true of this book as well…right up until my bedtime rolled around and I was only 60% of the way through this book. Yeah, I didn’t want to put it down.

Do you ever want to yell at the people in a book and ask why they don’t communicate with each other? This is a lovely exception. Dorian and Dove’s relationship provides wonderful inspiration about how amazing a relationship could be if you communicate. And how two people who have had brokenness in their past can help each other heal. And Bear! I want a Bear….except I know how much he’d shed in the spring. Fortunately dogs in books don’t shed on your couch.

You can read this as a stand alone book, but it will be richer if you’ve read the earlier books in the series. There’s an amazing epilogue…so if this is the first book you’ve read in the series, save the epilogue until you’ve read the earlier books. But if you’ve been following the Saint Security stories from the beginning, the epilogue wraps everything up so sweetly!

I can’t believe that this series has come to an end. Anything for You is the 7th and final book in Claire Cain’s Veterans of Silver Ridge series. Dove and Dorain definitely deserved their own stories and man have they been through much.
I really liked the connection that they had for each other and how they didn’t push each other. They were willing to take it slow to make sure the other person felt comfortable. This was a slow burn romance as both Dove and Dorian figured out what a relationship would look like. They had both endured so much and were learning to let others in.
The plot was interesting and I was engaged the whole time. I wanted to see how Dove and Dorian would overcome their fears. There was also the issue with Dorian’s neighbors which was so interesting and added to the suspense of the book. Dorian’s dog, Bear, was so sweet and fun!
There was so much that I loved about this book and one of them is seeing Dorian interact with the other Saint Squad men. They had created their own family and it was sweet to read about them banding together. I would totally recommend this book! I am so sad to see this series end but I am excited to see what will come next. Anything for You is a closed door romantic comedy.

Anything For You is the most emotional, romantic story I can ever remember reading. This book tells the story of Dorian ( Stone) Forrester and Dove Jensen. They start out in a landlord/tenant relationship and they progress from there. I've read several of the other reviews and there's not much I can add.

I agree with the Saint Security men and women that family doesn't require a blood relationship. Both Dorian and Dove had found family in their circles of friends.

I envied Dorian and Dove. The best thing about their relationship was communication. Since neither of them had any experience dating it was important to each of them that they discuss their feelings, expectations, hopes and dreams.

This is the 7th and final book in the Veterans of Silver Ridge series. It is a standalone story but the previous 6 books add to the overall story. Claire Cain wrote a wonderful epilogue to wrap up this book, and she wrote an epilogue 10 years in the future that wrapped up the series. Both epilogues caused me to shed a few tears.

For personal reasons my favorite line was "Your feelings are valid." I definitely recommend Anything For You.

I was given an ARC of this story but all thoughts and comments are mine, given voluntarily.

Plot: After her grandmother moves into a senior home, Dove has to find somewhere new to live. Luckily, a friend has a cabin on his property she can move into. As she gets to know him, she realizes he likes his solitude and slowly learns why. How will their relationship grow and change after spending time together? How will they accept one another’s challenges and burdens? What will their friends think?

What I liked: I liked that they were honest about everything. They never shied away from the truth and they shared everything on their minds and in their hearts. I also loved that Dorian was able to get past his fears to be there for Dove when she truly needed him to protect her.

What I didn’t like: I didn’t like her brother. I didn’t like how he felt like she owed him or he was in charge of her

Swearing: minimal use of minor swear words

Physical intimacy level: fade to black, discussions about sex, nothing on page or descriptive

Star rating: 5 stars

Trope:forced proximity, found family, ex military, mental health, friends to lovers

A super sweet small town romance with a little bit of thrill.

I have been anticipating this release, because I couldn't put the previous books down and read the whole series in a week. Claire, somehow you have made each book better than the last. This was also one I couldn't put down!

The love between Dove and Dorian was the sweetest and so well written. I giggled along with all of the awkward moments, squealed like Dove was my own friend for their first kiss, and cried when the book ended. Dorian's baking and tenderness really does something to my heart, and Dove's sweet, caring soul was so relatable.

I really feel as though the cult aspect and PTSD aspect was handled with such care and respect. I was feeling their emotions as I read along and truly thought it added so much more to the story because it's so real.

The series wrapped up perfectly, but I still will mourn the end. Highly recommend reading it!

Anything for You is the end of the Veterans of Silver Ridge series, which is sad. These characters have a way of staying with you after the final page. Dove and Dorian are a sweet duo who just fit. Their journey as individuals has been long and laborious but it’s in their relationship that strength is apparent. The author clearly states content warning that a reader would be wise to consider. The topics can be heavy but are handled gently. It should also be noted that there is no strong language or on-page sexual content though it is implied. That isn’t my favorite thing but the storyline made me take a chance and I’m glad I did. Each book in this series can stand alone but for the full experience start at the beginning. I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Anything for You is the Seventh and final book in the Veterans of Silver Ridge series and was such the perfect ending to this series. Every book in this series I loved and this time we get Dove and Stone's story. This small town romance was one where I could not stop turning the pages and I loved the tenderness of this one. I am sad to see that this series is ending, but can't wait to read more books from this author. It was written well and every character in this one I loved especially Dove. This was a delight to read and one that I loved so much. I would recommend this to any reader especially to those who love romance books. Thank you to the author for this ARC read in exchange of my honest review of Anything for You.

I am grieving people! Grieving! I am grieving that this swoony, laugh out loud, making you feel all the feels series has come to an end. But what an end! Claire, you have done it again! I have swooned, sighed, cried & laughed while reading this book. I knew from the moment Dove wakes to find Dorian in "her" bedroom that I was going to love this story. I practically devoured the book and after reading the epilogue, I am slightly mollified to know that there will be a spin off series coming. One thing I do know, whatever Claire Cain writes, we will all get to experience the swooning, sighing, crying & laughing again.

Dove and Dorian have fought a lot of battles in their lives, with both seen and unseen enemies. As part of his PTS therapy, Dorian decided to rent out the extra house on his property. Needing a change, Dove leased it. These two were surrounded by found family, but there was a loneliness in each that started to be filled by the other as they became friends. Dorian “Stone” was so unexpectedly thoughtful and insightful, not at all the stoic grump Dove had assumed he was. Dove was delightful, awkward and sweet. Seeing their friendship grow and blossom into more was so sweet and heartwarming. They’re both such heartfelt characters and had gone through so much on their own. Getting their happy ending together was perfect.

I enjoyed this story so much. Dove and Dorian both have pasts that were far from perfect and both feel broken. But Claire Cain brought them together in such a beautiful way with great communication, friendship and understanding. I loved the found family in the Saint Security team and how their friendship is more than just working together, there is total support and unconditional love between them all. Dorian seems so ruff and grumpy, but as Dove got to know him, she realized that he is actually sweet and tender and a great baker and cook, and he woos her with all his delicious desserts. Their relationship is sweet and swoony, and this is a story you don’t want to miss.

Dove has rented a cabin owned by Dorian/Stone, unfortunately she's so tired that she makes a mistake!
Dorian left the forces and is living just outside Silverton, he's had a hard few years but is getting more involved with the town, with the support of his forces colleagues.
Dove is a cheery nurse, very prone to tears! She's really supportive of Dorian and loves the cooking he does.
She's had a hard life before she moved in with her grandmother, now she's concentrating on her Nan, work and her friends, but she feels unworthy having been treated really badly in the past.

A great end to the series from Claire

The opening scene immediately caught my attention. From that point on, I continued to fall in love with Dove, who had a delightful habit of babbling on whenever she became flustered with Stone, which was often. I have read all seven of Cain’s Veterans of Silver Ridge books and have enjoyed how the characters in these books share their love stories with the readers.
Dove and Dorian have strong chemistry and mutual love for each other. It has been an adventure to watch their relationship grow in this last novel of the series. I hope to find glimpses of their future in other books by Claire Cain.

Stone and Dove.
This is the last in the Veterans of Silver Ridge Series. It is also a stand-alone book; however, I would read them all!
Stone struggled with PTSD. The guys from Saint Securities took care of him and made him have tea party events for them so they could make sure he was ok. Stone was an amazing cook/baker.
Dove was a local nurse who took care of her grandmother and needed a place to live as they sold the house. Dove moved into one of Stone’s cabins. They became friends.
I loved how, at the end of this one, it pretty much tied everything together.
Tropes: strong heroine, military hero, small town, friends to lovers

I’m so sad this series is over! I’m going to miss this little group 😭

Claire Cain once again wows me! Each book from this series is cute and cozy and I would like to move to Silverton and be besties with these guys.

Dorian is such a gentle giant and his love for Dove (see what I did there 😉) had me swooooning! A man who bakes and writes letters?! Say less! Throughout the series I’ve admired sweet and bubbly and I was so happy she got such a tender romance!

Please do yourself a favor and read this series!!

Thank you to the author for my gifted copy!

“I love you. Not some version of you I’ve made up that hinges on you tolerating social gatherings in some new, magical way thanks to the power of my love or something. I’m not loving you with the intent of fix you, I love you like you are, right now, and I don’t want you to worry that being with you will change me, because it will” Dorian and Dove aren’t perfect but are perfect for each other. They were meant to be and they deserve their HEA. Thanks for the wonderful epilogue Claire. We are going to miss all the Saint’s family.

In simple terms: this book was perfection. Dorian and Dove deserve the world, they’re both soft and had to endure so much but they still chose to be soft and that makes them warriors. The mental health representation in this? Chefs kisses. To love somebody even if they’re struggling is something to brave and Dove, even though she’s a crier (a cute one tho), did perfectly. I cannot recommend this enough and the extended epilogue with everybody made me cry so hard. This whole series made me feel like coming home and I’m so grateful I got to experience this🙂‍↕️
