This is definitely one of the better volumes. There's one bigger story with different artists and writers being showcased every few pages, but having it all be one narrative was a great decision. And I loved the follow-up story diving a little deeper.
My only real critique is that the handful of one shot short stories didn't need two Harley/Ivy stories. Like, let's let other characters have their piece.
Ultimately, as a major Batman fan and a queer DC fan in general, it makes me very very happy that DC continues to do these pride volumes, and continues to let their writers write queer stories and queer characters. There has been such a setback for queer identity in major pop culture, and it feels like so many companies have drawn back their support of the queer community. It means the world to me that DC hasn't stopped their support.
Deeply, deeply thankful to the writers showcased in this volume, the artists and colorists, and the editors who push for this visibility.
The first story was good, the little ones after were mostly okay but for a lot of them I kind of struggled to understand the point of them, they didn't really make a lot of sense as an anthology to me. However, Jenny's story at the end was really lovely and moving and I do feel like it was worth reading just for that.
