A very dissapointing book. I wanted to hive this book 2.5 stars. In fairness it was not as bad as some of the 2 star books I have read. However for some thing called Battlewotld after the first it was more drama than action.
A number of heroes and villains have been plucked from their timelines supposedly to battle for one perfect timeline. Groups are formed. Sides are chosen. Cosmic entities will be fought.
There is a theme of the characters chosen in this fight. They seem to be people who have hit rock bottom and are starting to bounce back or just getting up again. Even though I wish Spider-man had a bigger part in the book. I did like his interactions with Bucky. I might slip into another series. The book finishes with a design section and a varient cover gallery.
not for me. I appreciate the idea. so much exposition in the first issue to explain this situation. could have been cleaner or not explained until later or piecemeal bur im not a writer.
I find these oir of continuity/probably wont have an impact on continuity stories to care about. although I do like well written ones. just didn't work for me.
