1. YOUR LOVE IS MINE - 4.25 STARS
Great start to the series and is a standalone. Great main and secondary characters and you'll love the little 6-month-old girl. How the H and baby come together is emotional. The steps the H goes through to be the best for his Ruby is heartwarming. Especially the part where he has to call the h to help him with Ruby, in the middle of the night.
Lovemaking outside of marriage, heat level 5 out of 5 and described several times. The h is all sunshine and roses and is someone anyone who love for a friend. The H has reinvented himself, with a new name etc. He's done nothing outside the law. He had a troubled childhood and dealt with it the best he could.
I wanted more info how the people the H worked for took his change in his screenplay. Did the H go back to what he normally wrote?
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, sweet story, romantic with steam.
2. THERE GOES MY HEART - 4 STARS
Each of the MC's carries grief over something in their past. They've known each other for about a 3 and always bring out the worse in each other.
Early on, their relationship shifts and they start to open up to each other. The H falls first and helps the h with a personal issue. They both share what they hold close to their hearts. I thought for sure the author was going for a cookie cutter plot, but she didn't and it was much appreciated.
Lovemaking outside of marriage, heat level 5 out of 5 and described in detail many times. Lord's name used in vain once I believe.
No cheating by our MC, no cliffhanger, HEA, romantic, honest dialogue, sweet epilogue and steam.
3. WHEN YOU KISS ME - 3 STARS
I had a very hard time getting into this one and almost gave up. It's starts out you would think it's about teenagers falling in lust/love within a few hours. This couple never clicked with me, so it was a struggle. It did get old how many times we were told how beautiful the h was and how all men couldn't stop staring at her.
The storyline did somewhat improve when you get to the secret the H is keeping. You do understand but at times that part of the story felt choppy. Especially the parts with his brother, we needed more context why he would do something so drastic to his brother.
Lovemaking outside of marriage - bedroom door opened. Characters from the other stories/series have parts, but it is a standalone. Lord's name used in vain once. I did enjoy how the h's family rallied around the H in his troubles at the end. Did enjoy the love of family that came through.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, nice set up for the next story, little on romance and steam. I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. (ljb)

bar harbor I
Was terribly disappointed with this series. 7 brothers and sisters and they were all perfect! All beautiful/handsome as could be, talented, just so unrealistic. AND they have cousins all over the US and the World who are exactly like them. Perfect!! I could not get through Book 3. I love a good romance but these books were so over the top that they were fairy tales and should be labeled as such.

not a strong showing
I’ve enjoyed a lot of Bella Andre’s books, but this set of Maine Sullivans was weak. I’m still giving it a 3 because Cassie’s story was lovely and on par with some of her others, and Rory’s story was good too. Unfortunately, Lola’s story was nauseatingly saccharine and cheesy in the worst way possible.
I’ve enjoyed a lot of Bella Andre’s books, but this set of Maine Sullivans was weak. wonderful story! just makes you happy!
Ok, real life doesn’t happen like this, but it’s wonderful to read it and love and laugh at all the goodness that can happen, and just pretend to live it with those in the book!!!
