Hooking Tink: A Spicy Captain Hook Retelling

A Spicy Hook & Tinkerbell Retelling

𝐇𝐨𝐨𝐤
Three curses. Fifteen years. And only one pixie has the power to free me. Each curse demands a tattoo—a magical masterpiece only one artist can create.

But Tinkerbell isn’t just a fae with a gift for ink and pixie dust; she’s a fiery, sharp-tongued sprite who despises everything I stand for. Convincing her to help won’t just cost me gold or pride—it’ll take everything I’ve got, including my hook.

𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥
When Captain Hook storms into my shop, he’s every grumpy, brooding pirate cliché rolled into one, dragging curses and chaos in his wake. I don’t help villains, but he’s offering a challenge I can’t resist and a spark I can’t ignore.

His rough edges and razor-sharp charm are the last thing I need, but fate has other plans. Magic tattoos, a dangerous bargain, and a forbidden attraction—this pirate might just be my undoing.

Abso-freakin-lutely unhinged and magical!!!!!! Hook and Tink are caught between the tides of personal turmoil and the want to find connection. Tink is absolutely sassy and fierce yet demanding and confident. Hook is arrogant and mouthy yet gentle and insecure. Their connection is literal fireworks popping and sizzling on the pages. ✨️📚✨️

Love a Holly retelling. Maybe they will feature in some other parts of stories like Tink did in Feeding Beauty.

Once again, a very fun and spicy retelling about another Lost Girl from the series. I loved the layout of this retelling! It was a quick read novella but packed a lot into a small package... much like a certain fairy we know.... sorry, I couldn't help myself.

The spice was a 3.5/5 because it wasn't every scene but it took up some landscape in the story. It was necessary and well paced though.

I LOVED the throwbacks too the original and how they tied into this story but were really their own version. I CAN NOT wait for the next release in the series because I am EATING THESE BOOKS UP!!!

OMG! This started out hot as hell and ended in the sweetest way. Hooking Tink is a fast-paced, super steamy retelling of the relationship between Tinkerbell and Captain James T. Hook.

Tink runs her own tattoo parlor, and Hook arrives hoping her magical inkwork can remove three cursed tattoos from his skin. As an infamous fae killer, he’s the last client she wants, but she’s determined to prove she can handle it.
With each tattoo removed, the magic unleashed sparks a frenzy that can’t be denied. But when the pixie dust settles, what’s left for Tink and Hook?

I took such delight in reading this story. Though it moves fast, I genuinely felt the relationship build, and the ending was so sweet and satisfying.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

I’ve only read two books so far, but I am absolutely loving The Lost Girls series! The other books are burning a hole in my TBR so hard, that I may have to move them up the list.

4.5⭐️, 5🌶️ Spicy twist on a classic fairytale! A few elements scattered throughout the pages that are a nod to the original storyline but the rest is completely reimagined. Loved the sassy edge Tink had & the cinnamon roll center Captain Hook tried to hide, even from himself. Nice length, great writing, easy read, & just enough spice. Plus, the spice is 🧯! I mean when that hook comes off… 🥵! Definitely recommend especially if you like a good romance that has a fair amount of spice that is teetering on the edge, flirting with some grey shadows without going full on dark. All while still tying everything into a satisfying plot that makes sense. I started with Hooking Tink & it seems to be a few books into this Lost Girls series so I plan on reading the other books already out. If they are as good as this was, I’ll be thrilled! I do hope there is more in depth world building in the earlier books.

📚I did receive an advance copy for free at my request after seeing the blurb for it. All my reviews are made voluntarily & are my honest thoughts/opinions.📚

I enjoy the characters in this series so much. This was a great peek into how MMC James (Hook) and FMC Tink meet. I love that Tink is a tattoo artist, and I love how important that is to what happens in the story.

For me, this was one of those reads where you want to explore the characters’ backstories even more and you want to read more about their relationship past the final page because you just want to spend more time in this world.

Ommmmggggg, this was AMAZING! I loved this retelling mashup of Tinkerbell and Captain Hook! You see these characters in a completely new way and it’s spectacular!

Tink is a feisty tattoo artist with an edge. Her story about how she ended up in Boston, oh my heart broke. But how she uses her magic and tattooing to help sick children, goodness! And then Hook, you always hear about how he is the villian, but in this story you get a completely different side to him. He must find 3 different keys and then he had to convince Tink to tattoo them on his body. Each time they are together, the tension between them grows stronger and stronger. They can’t keep their hands off one another either. They think it’s the “magic” but deep down it’s so much more.

I couldn’t get enough of this story! I loved it. It was raw, it was deep, it was SPICY!

I LOVE a fairytale retelling and Holly Roberds always delivers ! I am so invested and obsessed with the Lost Girls series I had to read this one!! This is book 3.5 in the series !

Hook and Tink ! Oh my 🥵🥵 a ruthless pirate and a feisty fairy are forced together when Hook asked for help on removing a powerful curse placed upon him by mermaids . Only Tink , her gift and her tattoo gun can lift that but in doing so the magic was unleashed and in turn created an uncontrollable hunger and need for eachother . Three cursed tattoos and three keys Hook is to seek. For each key found the more chaos they were awarded with .

It’s fast paced , great plot and spicy . It was the perfect villain story! Their chemistry and attraction for eachother was off the charts ! The way their banter would bounce off eachother , both fighting for dominance , both a little insecure and afraid to be vulnerable ! I felt their angst and anger that masked their true feelings. His scars are only part of his story , the villain isn’t always the bad guy he’s made to be ..

✨ Thank you Holly Roberds for this freebie!! ✨

This book was hot! The spice was absolutely delicious, and it fit perfectly with the chemistry between Hook and Tink. The plot pulled me in from the very beginning, and I loved how the curse, tattoos, and magical bargains wove together into something unique and addictive.

The way Holly expanded the Lost Girls world made this story even more special. I felt like I was stepping right back into a place I never want to leave. Hook was every bit the broody, grumpy pirate I hoped for, and Tink’s fire and sass made her the perfect match for him. Their tension, banter, and passion had me hooked (pun intended 😉).

I am completely addicted to Holly Roberds’ writing. Every book just keeps getting better, and this one has quickly become a favorite!

“This isn’t Neverland, and this definitely isn’t the Tinkerbell or Hook you thought you knew.”

Hooking Tink is not your childhood fairy tale — it’s a spicy, chaotic, and unexpectedly emotional retelling that takes the Peter Pan universe and twists it into something wickedly fun. Holly Roberds delivers a fast-paced novella packed with tension, heat, and a surprising amount of heart. If you’re here for sass, steam, and morally gray love interests with curses to break and grudges to nurse — welcome aboard.

Tink is nothing like the delicate, glittery fairy we grew up with. She’s fierce, emotionally scarred, sharp-tongued, and absolutely not here to play nice. Hook? Oh, he’s broody, cursed, and brimming with emotional baggage. The two of them together? Sparks. And not the soft, fluttery kind — I’m talking explosive, enemies-to-lovers fire. Their banter is electric, their chemistry undeniable, and the emotional undercurrents give the spice a surprising depth. Roberds balances the physical tension with just enough vulnerability to make the romance feel earned.

The retelling itself is a clever twist on familiar lore. Magic tattoos, a key to a curse, Boston of all places — it’s weird in the best way. I appreciated that Hook isn’t just sexy and mysterious; he’s layered, damaged, and genuinely trying. And the inclusion of a villain POV added a fun, slightly sinister edge to the narrative — mysterious enough to keep you guessing.

That said, I knocked off one star because I did find myself wanting more — not of the spice (though that was deliciously well done), but of the emotional build-up. Because it’s novella-length, some moments felt a little rushed. I would’ve loved just a few more scenes to explore their backstories and give the relationship a bit more breathing room. There were emotional beats that hit, but didn’t have time to linger.

Still, Hooking Tink was an oddly delightful ride — spicy, dramatic, and a little unhinged in the best possible way. It’s the kind of story that knows exactly what it is and delivers with flair. If you’re in the mood for something quick, steamy, and just a bit twisted, this one will absolutely hit the mark.

💘 Enemies to Lovers – Tink and Hook start off hating each other… which, of course, makes the tension delicious.

🧿 Cursed Hero – Hook is literally cursed and emotionally tortured = instant dark romance bait.

🔐 Forced Proximity – Stuck together, bound by magic, and oh no… there’s only one way to break the curse 👀

🗝️ Magical Object Quest – A magical key plays a central role in unlocking secrets… and other things.

😈 Morally Gray Love Interest – He’s bad. He’s broody. He might stab someone. You’ll still fall for him.

🧍‍♀️💥🧍‍♂️ Banter as Foreplay – These two argue like their lives depend on it (and occasionally, they do).

🥵 High Spice / Steamy Scenes – This book does not hold back. Expect some open-door scenes with emotional bite.

🌪️ Grumpy/Sunshine (but reversed?) – Tink’s not exactly sunshine, but she is more chaos to Hook’s simmering rage.

🔮 Fairy Tale Retelling with a Dark Twist – A familiar story, reimagined for adults with magic, grit, and heat.

🧛‍♂️ Villain POV / Mystery Antagonist – There’s a shadowy villain giving cryptic vibes… but who is it really?

🧷 Touch Him and You Die Energy – It’s subtle, but oh yes, the protective energy sneaks in.

🖤 Broken But Beautiful – Both leads are damaged, full of regret, and trying (badly) to fix themselves. Together.

If you've read the rest of the series or even just some them this keeps the hook in - and has secured Feeding Beauty's place on my TBR, and for a series of can be set standalone, they have all kept me nterested in continuing the series, some are even in my re-reads wheel.

Now, down the rabbit hole:

It was a quick read, a in-between snack, and if I had to place it I would put it in the Novella category.

I will admit, I enjoyed it buuut, I did wish it had a dug in a bit deeper - which some may take to mean it's lacking but, for me, that is not what I mean in this instance. It is not because it NEEDS more but, just because I wanted more.

The plot has flow and a conclusion that works and Hook and Tink are fire...I just find myself left hoping that this isn't the last chapter for Tink & Hook. If it is, that's okay however - I could do with some sea adventures and/or maybe some haunting from their pasts to come-a-knocking.

Maybe those who cursed Hook are furious when they feel him attempting to break their curses, and they start hunting him and just maybe we get to see some more aspects of Tinks magic, magic or abilities that we didn't know she had and more of her back story to go with it.

Or, maybe they have to go to sea, and Tink finds herself a member of his crew as they have to follow some clues on a magic tattoo Tink finds herself forced by instinct or magic to give hook, or maybe they have to set sail to plunder and pillage in order to save one of the other Lost Girls in one way or another...Who knows, there is so much potential that this could still develop into with these two, annnnd if that happens to include a side quest of Hooks where he pays a visit to Peter Pan...well, I'm there for it, all of it. Any of it.

If you want a quick read that some may say (it's me, I'm some) more spice than plot, dive in and prepare to be hooked into this series - if you aren't already.

“You don’t have to be the villain in everyone’s story” - Tink ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Hooking Tink” is a spicy (🌶🌶🌶🌶), paranormal romance short story by Holly Roberds. It is considered book 3.5 in the “Lost Girls” series of interconnected standalones, as well as a part of the “Fractured Fairytales” collection. A “Peter Pan” retelling, this story is set in Boston, where magical and non-magical beings coincide.

🧚‍♀️Tropes: age gap, he falls first, she-hates-him/he-understands, cursebreaking, HEA🧚‍♀️

Ruthless Captain Hook has spent the past 15 years looking for a way to lift his three curses. He comes to Boston, where Tinkerbell prides herself as a one-of-a-kind magical tattooer. He approaches her with a key and one truth: she is the only one who can end his curses. Despite her hatred of Hook, she agrees to help him, unleashing explosively sexy consequences. One dreams of land, one the sea. Both long for home. Will they be able to lift his curses, or will they be plagued with something new?

The spice level of this book is sizzling. I would gauge it at a solid 🌶🌶🌶🌶. Girllll when those curses break 😰. Lawd. I started to read this in a waiting room for a doctor’s appointment, and I was grateful to be against a wall. Don’t get me started on the “Nub-ening.” I won’t spill it, you just have to experience it for yourself. My husband happened to peek at my book at that part, and I thought his jaw would fall off.

Throughout about 180 pages, Roberds weaves a retelling that brings the “Peter Pan” story to its knees. Peter Pan isn’t everyone's hero, and Hook isn’t everyone's villain. Her retelling isn’t far out of the realm of possibilities, explaining why Tink is in Boston and not Neverland (and how she was affected by his love for Wendy), in addition to an alternative view of why Hook lost his hand (which adds sooo much depth to his character).

I was shocked, choked (by breath), and giggled by this read. This is a quick, though not cozy read, that you definitely need to get your hands on! You’ll be hooked (HAha…sorry! 🤐)

“This will help you stay strong. All you need is faith, trust, and pixie dust.”

Why isn’t this a full-length novel? I want…no, I need all the details! Hook and Tink’s story absolutely delivered in emotion, tension, and chemistry, all packed into a novella that felt far too short in the best way possible. The progression from hate, to reluctant partnership, to something deeper was so well done; it didn’t feel rushed, and every emotional beat landed.

“I don’t need threats. I can make you beg.”

Tink was everything I wanted her to be: a sassy, independent spitfire with a sharp tongue and a strong will. She felt like the perfect modern parallel to the original Tinkerbell: bold, fiery, and not afraid to speak her mind. Hook, on the other hand, had just the right blend of menace and softness. Watching his softer side slowly emerge through his connection with Tink was incredibly satisfying. He may be the villain in some stories, but his actions towards Tink made a strong case for why he shouldn’t be in this one.

“You’re both dark and light…You’re complicated, flawed, and dangerous. But you’re real.”

I also loved the subversion of the traditional Peter Pan narrative. The inclusion of Peter and Wendy added another layer, especially with Peter being portrayed in a much darker, more morally questionable light. It flipped expectations in a way that worked really well for the tone of the story. Overall, this novella was spicy, emotionally charged, and wildly entertaining. If this ever gets expanded into a full-length book, I’ll be first in line.

“You’re a pirate, Hook. Betrayal is practically in your job description.”

Anything, and I mean anything, that Holly Roberds writes I will read. Her stories are spicy, yes, but that isn’t the heart of her stories. The heart is about broken people finding others who accept them as in. Instead of trying to fix what is broken, these cracks are celebrated, treasured, and perfect in their own way. Hooking Tink fits right into the Lost Girl series and while a short and quick read, I would gladly read a full length novel of Hook and Tink.

I love the way Holly brings two worlds, non-magical and magical, together is a common theme in her books and she does it so well. Set in Boston, I was immediately drawn into Tink and Hook’s story and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen between them. From the beginning, Tink doesn’t hide her hatred of Hook. When he needs her help, she agrees, but that’s it. Or so she thought. As they work together to undo each of Hook’s 3 curses, their relationship becomes closer and closer to combusting in the sexiest of ways.

This reimagined story with beloved Peter Pan characters definitely turned the tides on characters and reminded us that not everyone has the same heroes and the same villains. Holly took a favorite childhood story of mine and gave it the grown up glow up I desperately needed. And Holly’s vision on how Hook uses his hook….well iykyk….and you will want to know!

Take the few hours you need to enjoy this story! Experience Holly’s talented writing and ability to bring new life to well known stories and characters. This book will definitely have you thinking happy thoughts, provide plenty of pixie dust, and have you hooked on her books.

As always, review any author notes before reading.

We all know the fairytale of Peter Pan, Wendy, the lost boys and Tinerbell and Captain Hook. This is Holly's version of the Lost Girls. This story focuses on the bad boy, James Hook and Tink, or Tinkerbell.

Tink owns and gives magical tattoos to help others. She does not live in Neverland anymore. Peter Pan is the opposite of what he was in our fairytale. He destroyed so much in her, all for Wendy. It was too huge of a sacrifice; one that will never be returned to her.

One night, in walks Hook with a maddening request. He needs her help to properly tattoo keys on to three curses he received. She hems and haws for the tales of his actions are not good and she knows he is evil. But he finally understands what it will take for her to at least end the first one; her pride.

What happens after will be intense, wild, chaotic and unexpected. Once done, they part ways. A year later, the same thing will occur but there are things that are different. They slowly unravel their lives by talking to each other. Many surprises come about from the telling of the tales.

When it is time to perform the final act, will Hook stay out at sea? Will Tink follow or stay in Boston? Are what they feel real or is it from the curses? Her friends support her in whatever she decides. This is a fast read, high heat in many areas, a love story born from desperation and evil. Is it once-in-a-lifetime? Or will their differences keep them further apart? Can Hook reform? Will he want to?
A great fairytale retelling with surprises along the way that will touch your heart!

ink is a talented tattoo artist whose work carries real magic. When Hook arrives seeking her enchanted ink to banish three curses placed upon him, she wants nothing to do with him. She’s never been a fan of Hook and tries to refuse—but something deeper compels her to give in. After completing the first tattoo, the simmering animosity between them gives way to an undeniable heat neither can ignore. With each new tattoo, Hook returns, and what begins as raw lust slowly evolves into something far more complicated.

My Thoughts
I’ll admit it right away—Holly Roberds is my absolute favorite author, so it’s no surprise I adored this book. What truly makes it stand out, though, is the way Holly takes one of my most despised childhood villains and reshapes him with depth, complexity, and even a touch of redemption. Somehow, the Hook I once disliked has become a character I envy Tink for having at her side.

This book definitely turns up the heat—it’s high on the spice meter and absolutely not for younger readers or those easily offended. But if you enjoy your fantasy romance with sizzling chemistry, intense tension, and a dash of redemption for a classic villain, you’re in for a treat.

Holly, you’ve done it again—another sparkling jewel in your crown. I’m so grateful to have received an ARC of this book, and I can’t wait to see what you create next.

Hooked on Tink and Loving Every Page

Holly Roberds has done it again! Hooking Tink is everything I adore about her writing - darkly addictive, wildly imaginative, and dripping with spice that makes you blush and grin all at once.

Tink is the kind of FMC Holly always delivers so perfectly - fierce, witty, and vulnerable in ways that make you ache for her. Her banter with Hook crackles with tension, equal parts fire, sass, and temptation. And Hook? Dangerous, magnetic, infuriatingly irresistible. Their chemistry burns hotter with every chapter, and the way Holly balances raw passion with sharp humor is absolute perfection.

What I love most about Holly’s writing is how she takes familiar fairytales and spins them into something entirely new - edgy, modern, and utterly captivating. This novella is fast paced but full of depth, with sizzling tension, emotional stakes, and that signature spice that makes you want to reread your favorite scenes again and again.

If you love dark spicy retellings with heroines who own every page they are on, you need this novella in your life. Another five star win from an author who never misses!

I absolutely loved Hook and Tink!! A modern day magical fairytale retelling full of tension, banter and spicy!!! I love Holly’s writing and have enjoyed all her books that I have read!!!

Tink is feisty and unapologetically herself!! She is a badass rocker chick tattoo artist who helps those in need. She has thrived on her own but now she is questioning everything. I love how this was tied into the lost girls by them being tinks friends and support system since she has been on her own.

Hook is a cocky mmc but he also knows he needs tinks help or he is out of options. He knows how to push her buttons and get her to help him. I liked this version of Hook because he wasn’t scared and he was not so self obsessed as other versions of Hook I’ve read. Holly’s version of Hook was calculating and snarky with a hidden light side.

They have chemistry that is off the chart and it leads to delightfully snarky tension and banter. Behind their veiled threats and hatred of each other is something neither one wants to acknowledge to themselves or each other.

This was a quick spicy read that I absolutely loved.

If you think you know this story, you’re wrong.

Holly has created something truly remarkable and completely original with these two characters. Hook is everything you think he is. He’s a horrible pirate that kills people for what he wants, and Tink knows it. In fact, she loathes him so much that when he comes begging for help, she gives him the cold shoulder. But, not everything is as it seems.

That said, Tink is desperate to prove her worth when it becomes a question of her aptitude. She’s broken and scrappy. She’s a survivor. She’s the best and her talent is all she has left to give and she proves herself a worthy partner.

The magic has other plans for them though and as Tink breaks the curses, so does their resolve and the boundaries they swear by. The magic forces them together… Over and over… until the facade cracks and glimmers of trust and hope start to peek through.

You’ll have to read it to find out what happens next 😎 It’s short but not lacking.

These enemies become lovers and the hate s*x is…👌🏼🥵 Um… like, be prepared for anything.

*whispers (he takes his hook off) 🤭 twice.

Open door, 4 pepper entertainment. Angsty, sweet, and covered in pixie dust

As an ARCvenger for Holly Roberds, I was given a digital re-release ARC of Hooking Tink with a brand new look.

Wow. This book was... not just sexually intense but emotionally moving as well. You see a darker side to the Tinkerbell we all know & love. She's been through some tough times before moving to Boston. & you see a dark but more vulnerable & softer, caring side to Hook. These are not your Disney's Peter Pan characters. The connection between Hook & Tink is strong & intense, no matter how much they try to fight it. Or blame it on a curse.

Holly packed so much into one short story, but it didn't feel overwhelming in details or rushed. This story was set at the perfect pace, with the perfect amount of information. & it really kept your attention.

Her writing is a bit on the darker side, so be sure to check out the trigger warnings before getting into something you MIGHT not be interested in. I personally loved this book. I definitely want to check out the rest of the Lost Girls series.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

This is a short spicy book. This is a retelling of Captain Hook and Tinkerbells relationship. Tink runs her own tattoo parlor. When Hook shows up at her shop he is going her magical ink can remove three cursed tattoos from his body. However, she is less that thrilled that the legendary Fae killer is in her shop. However, no one is going to know that she doesn't want to ink him. She can do this!!! However, she never expected that with each tattoos removed, the magic it unleashes causes a frenzy deep inside her that can't be denied. That is all that I can say about this book, or I will give something away. It was so much fun to read this book. It is smoking hot in the beginning and the ending it so sweet it just might melt your heart. Their relationship builds in such a way that even though this book is short, it is not lacking in anyway. I loved every single second of this retelling. It is a book that you do not want to miss.

Never knew how much I would love a spicy retelling of Peter Pan starring a sassy, fierced & tattooed Tinkerbell and devilishly handsome & wicked Captain Hook. This was hot in more ways then one and didn't expect how much I would pant over Hook 🥵. Tinkerbell was beautifully flawed with an honest strength and struggling with vulnerability just like James. Both fighting to prove the world wrong or possibly right with societal preconceived notions that they have for these two vulnerable and flawed souls. I really enjoyed this take and perspective on these two well known literary characters. It took the original story that everyone knows and flipped the script....literally!!! Because in this one Peter Pan is a manipulative & lying bastard that breaks Tink's heart and trust in others; leaving her without safety or love at such a young age. Thankfully she gets her happily ever after and closure * hint hint*. So if you're a fan of filthy dirty spicy scenes, raw vulnerability, magical tattoos, and the villain gets the girl then read this book!! You won't be disappointed 🖤🖤 😏

If you're into fairytale retellings, you'll want to check out Hooking Tink by Holly Roberds. Trust me, by the end of this book, you might find yourself craving a little fairy dust in your life.

The story features Captain Hook, a charming yet ruthless older pirate, who seeks help from Tink, a unique magical tattoo artist with a sassy attitude, to break his long-standing curses. Although Tink despises Hook, she reluctantly agrees to assist him, which leads to some intense and steamy moments. While one dreams of land and the other of the sea, both are searching for a sense of home. The real question is whether they'll be able to lift his curses together or if new challenges will force them apart.

Hooking Tink is a fast-paced and captivating read, showcasing the power struggle and vulnerabilities between Hook and Tink. I really enjoyed the story, and it's bound to leave readers feeling enchanted by the end.

I got so lucky to be an ARC reader for Hooking Tink and all I can say is .. Holy Sh**! Holly sure did it again 😭 ! This reimagining of Hook and Tinkerbell was EVERYTHING! I loved Holly’s take on Tink, it was so original and far from how I think we all envision Tinkerbell to be. She was armored with tattoos and piercings but underneath that was just a sweet fairy that was used and needed to be shown that she was someone’s first choice. Hooks POV was just as enthralling to read and see just how haunted he is by his own deeds and his desire for Tink was just absolutely squeal worthy. I too would’ve climbed him like a tree 🙂‍↕️ and their banter was highly addictive. His reluctance at first was expected as he’s “married to the sea” like all pirates but they both broke each other’s walls down beautifully.

Truly a phenomenal read and can’t wait for many more from this amazing world Holly has created ❤️.

Tink had to discern where she needed to tattoo the key over the first curse. Hook wasn’t certain which of the two remaining curses would be eradicated by the second key yet there’s no mention of her fiddling with it to discover exactly where the tattoo should go. Seemed kind of an important factor to be left out.

I know Tink and Hook believe that their feelings for each other are genuine but I am highly suspicious that the magic that initially made them irresistible to one another has a residual effect. It’s just too potent to be completely gone after a few hours.

Chapter 29 ”I think it's time I remind you,” I rasp, my hands clenching into fists... Yo, where did he get a second hand?

I’ve enjoyed The Lost Girls series but I’m just not feeling the love here. There’s sex aplenty but not much else for these two to be basing a long term relationship on. I’m probably wrong but Hook appears pussy-whipped to me. Not a great look for a pirate.

This magickal book I stumbled across. Thanks to A. L. Jacksons “The Towers Edge”.
Was a fantastic find. I was pleasantly surprised, and captivated by the story.
The depth of the characters, and the hints to other stories this one is tied to.

I will say the unnecessary and or but used to begin sentences detracted from the story for me.

I would recommend this book. Just as long as readers keep in mind this book involves a Morally Grey character. Who delves a bit darker, and there are moments of consensual depravity.

This book contains high spice, and is meant for mature readers over the age of 18 plus.

If this book is anything to go by. I have a feeling the rest of this series could be worth the read as well.
This is a stand alone read but falls in as book 3.5 in Holly’s “The Lost Girl’s series.”
