This is such an entertaining read. Not only does it tell an excellent story, but it sets up the next one at the same time, which sounds like it is going to be a humdinger!
In the last two stories Ember has done a lot of growing up. She has gone from being kept secret, to being smack bang in the middle of a war, and not only that, but she also has to deal with a Mum who is loving, but also stifling. This is why going on this campaign is important as it allows her to spread her wings - pardon the pun!
I love how Ember breaks down Luke’s imperious walls. He doesn’t stand a chance. Ember might be quiet, but she is strong and doesn’t hold back, especially if it is something she wants.
This is a great read, that is both interesting and clever. I love the banter, danger, action and romance, as it blends perfectly.
This is another great read in the series and cannot wait to read the next book.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Jam packed full of action and danger. I loved it. Vanya was not my favourite in this one, if anyone should know about people in love being kept apart it should have been her, I was disappointed in her actions in this one. But Luke was wonderful, I love the strong but damaged hero’s.

Simply wonderful read, tremendous characters and plot that had me riveted from start to finish
She had only barely survived the helicopter crash and that had been because of one man and that was because going down on the Carpathian mountains was in most cases a death sentence unless there was a dragon looking out for you.
She is a dragon and a witch and the forbidden bloodline if it was to fall in to the wrong hands could be devastating for the dragons, there are many that would kill to possess it and do even more macabre things if the believed they could secure this power for themselves.
Luke Kenan a dragon that is over three centuries old he has followed orders and adhered to guidelines and rules laid down for his kind and believes in fate and what it can bring when you least expect it. As their powers are stripped from them for a tine they are then tested by the very heart of the mountain where their existence first begam and where it will continue to exist long after they are gone it is as it should be
I guarantee that other readers will be totally captivated by this simply amazing author, the complexity of the cast and storyline never fails to inspire and as the pair escape and their bond strengthens it burns hotter than any dragonfire.
I will not spoil the read by giving too much away about the battle between the Syndicate wanting to awaken a sleeping king and those that wish to prevent the

Fighting to survive against the odds.
Ember and Luke are stripped of their powers by an unknown force when their helicopter crashes in the Carpathian Mountains after a fact finding mission goes wrong. Survival becomes a challenge without their magic as they contend with the mysterious power sleeping beneath the stone of the mountains and The Syndicate who are as yet unaware of Ember’s hybrid existence. However, the biggest challenge lies in dealing with their magnetic pull towards each other. You will admire Ember as she hones her confidence in the face of adversity and unlike Luke, she faces their mutual attraction head-on. When threatened by the Syndicate, both of them find inner strength with help from an unidentified source and finally Ember is able to prove her worth in the fight to save her fellow hybrids from extinction. Both of them face personal challenges after being rescued and Ember is determined to forge her own destiny against all odds. The cliffhanger ending has an element of relief after an initial tragedy is overcome and the scene is set for book 7 as the Aurora Collective prepares for battle against The Syndicate. Each story in this series is compulsive reading and well written.

The campaign to stop the Sindacate from awakening the sleeping dragon king continues in this gripping story featuring as main characters Ember ( Vanya’s daughter) and Luke, a 300-year-old dragon tasked to protect her during what was supposed to be a simple reckoning mission.
Luke’s sense of duty and impeccable control war with the strong pull he has towards Ember who’s been sheltered all her life and has barely started living her life that’s why nobody takes her seriously when she insists Luke is just the man for her! They are one of my favorite couples!

An absolute wonderful read! I couldn’t put this book down! I loved seeing Ember really grow and stand up for herself. Luke was a sweetheart. These two are perfect for each other although it took some time for them to figure it out, especially Luke. This really keeps you captivated and on the edge of your seat! Some definite twists in here. Really set up the next story and I can’t wait for it! Very enjoyable and exciting story that I very highly recommend! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

I can’t wait for the next book of this series. Where is Mara and what is she doing? And is the strike team mission be successful? And can Ember’s Mom accept Luke? So many questions and I have to wait for answers.

This is such a fantastic series with each book building more into the overall storyline.
I very much enjoyed this couple especially as Ember has such formidable parentage which you always knew was going to come into it somewhere.
Luke & Ember were a great couple who battled throughout the book.
The twist at the end was a great lead into the next book which is going to be a great one!
