Broken Rules

Rate this book
“If he finds out what I’ve done with his sister… I lose everything.”

Wren Cartwright is the one line I swore I’d never cross. Brilliant. Bold. Trouble in every glance...And my best friend’s little sister. Completely off-limits. Which only makes me want her more.

Partnering with Wren for the Youth Fair I thought was safe. But late nights and sparks I can’t ignore make it anything but.

One touch, and I’m hooked. One smile, and I forget every reason to walk away.

Her brother trusts me. He has no idea I’m breaking the one rule that matters most.

Now we’re sneaking around, crossing lines we can’t uncross. It’s reckless. Addictive. Headed straight for disaster.

And when this blows up...and it will...It'll break hearts. It’ll burn everything down.

And I will lose her…and him…for good.

Loving Wren Cartwright? It’s the wildest, and most dangerous, risk I’ve ever taken.

I voluntarily reviewed "BROKEN RULES"
I thoroughly enjoyed the characters in this off limits romance, with someone breaking the rules, trust betrayed, emotional turmoil, steam that can't be denied.
Wren Cartwright doing the youth fair with Cole Lawson arrive to the gym its chaos kids everywhere she's Ben's little off limits little sister.
Wren still finds new ways to create mayhem with panicked elementary students a robot zips towards Cole fast & shreiking he grabs it before it hits the bleachers just as Wren dives & they collide, she yelps when Cole prevents her from falling.
Cole so lost in Wren he forgets how to speak when she says hi, Wren I see your still making grand entrances, huh Lawson , she stands you ok Cole asks.
Yes I'm great nothing like a full body tackle to end a Tuesday says Wren & he laughs, she's still the same smarter, bolder & sharper girl.
Wren picks up the rogue robot, welcome to afterschool robiotics, we build machines & character, mostly chaos, you run this circus asks Cole, like a pro says Wren, it would be easier without homicidal vaccum cleaners.
Theres definitely undeniable chemistry between Wren & Cole, a door slams they both jump like teenagers being caught sneaking around.
Cartwright a deep voice calls Cole stops he knows that voice Ben her brother walks in like he owns the place he stops when he sees Cole brows lifted he looks between Wren & Cole he smiles but not a friendly smile, he crosses his arms didn't expect to see you here Cole & I didn't expect to be tackled by a robot, swarm either Wren stands between them.
Principal Harris walks in with two school board members our Youth Innovation Fair is expanding this year to include the community mentorship component.
Wren freezes & Cole sees dread in her eyes, thats why were excited that Cole Lawson will be co-leading the project with Wren Cartwright.
Ben actually laughs at that he's been waiting for karma to serve Cole a hot plate of awkward.
Cole says I guess your stuck with me Wren you can't back out now, this is no favor its storm waiting to happen.
Ben says to Cole look at that the school has a sense of humor, you think this is funny Cole asks, hey I'm not the one who tackled my sister infront of a full room of parents & robots, it was an accident.
Ben leans in just remember Wren's not a kid anymore, she's still my little sister, I remember says Cole, good keep it that way says Ben.
Wren walks up you two done with your little testosterone check in, Ben says just making sure Cole knows what he signed up for.
Will Cole & Wren come together to get their HEA with Ben being overbearing trying to seperate them a must read to see what happens a great read you won't be disappointed.

The book starts out interesting and good, the spark between wren and cole is soft, gentle, vulnerable. I enjoyed reading it but the ending is confusing about ben and cole and it seems like their relationship grows to another level.
