Rate this book
It's 1950 New York City. Alissa Adams wants one thing - to become a scientist in a world that says women don't belong.

When a gorgeous, unorthodox, bohemian classmate invites her to collaborate on a revolutionary science film, Alissa accepts the challenge, hoping it will provide the acceptance she craves. Instead, a crack appears in her lifelong plans. Standing at the crossroads, she must choose between her steady fiancé, the enigmatic, adventuresome bohemian, or her own path as a research scientist.

Her mind was made for discovery. Society was built to stop her.

I enjoyed this book and was looking for the next in the series although it seems it is not yet available. It did help to read the prequel which helped gain more insight, understanding.
