This book wasn't even on my radar until I watched Kaylani's most recent reading vlog. In that video she hyped the book up so much that it made me want to read it, so I immediately got it from Kindle Unlimited. I wasn't going to read it this month, but I started it on a whim, and I am so glad I did because I loved it so freaking much. This review is probably going to be chalk full of spoilers so please don't read any further if you are interested in reading it. This book starts off with Sable walking out on a hookup because she is over the mediocre sex. She runs into her new neighbor in the elevator. They have an instant connection and end up having a one-night stand although Sable does tell Noah he'll see her again. Of course, a wrench gets thrown into those plans when she goes to work Monday morning and Noah ends up being the new lead at her job and then the story goes from there. They do everything in their power to deny their connection, but they are just drawn to each other and with each passing day it becomes harder and harder to fight so they eventually give in but of course there has to be some rules that will eventually get broken. I think this is one of in not the hottest book I have ever read and that's saying a lot since I read a lot of romance. Noah is obsessed with Sable and becomes a bumbling mess every time he's in the same vicinity as her. He wants nothing more than to please her and will do anything to accomplish that. I just love an obsessed hero but add in a submissive obsessed hero and apparently, I love that even more. I didn't always love Sable which is why this book didn't get a full 5 stars from me. Their job was clearly a big part of the story but I'm still not sure what exactly it is that they do. I don't know if I just missed that explanation or if it wasn't included. Also, the whole thing with HR was a big part of the story and we never get to see that play out in the end. This is just personal preference, but I would have liked to of had that included in the end. I definitely need to look into everything else this author has written.

No es el mejor libro del mundo pero me mantuvo demasiado entretenida y fue justo lo que necesitaba luego de terminar mi lectura anterior.

En esta historia la protagonista parece descubrir el cielo en los brazos de su nuevo vecino luego de meses de no tener éxito con los hombres dentro de la habitación. Sin embargo, esta unión paradisiaca entra en peligro cuando ambos se encuentran en el lugar de trabajo, en donde las relaciones entre colegas están prohibidas. Pero ¿cómo dejar atrás lo que tuvieron cuando la atracción sigue latente?

La novedad de este libro es que, a diferencia de muchos otros, es la figura femenina la que lleva las riendas en la dinámica, mientras que él es el tímido que está dispuesto a rogar con tal de que solo lo dejen mirarla. Esto se sintió bastante fresco comparado a todas las novelas de romance con fuerte contenido spicy, de hecho, fue lo que me motivó a leerla y no decepcionó para nada. Es muy cortita, de narración sencilla que aún así nos permite saber lo necesario de los personajes, y bastante ligera. De verdad que solo entrega lo que promete, y eso es, una historia spicy para pasar el rato.

¿Ver a un hombre doblegarse tanto y que lo único que quiera sea complacer a la chica que le interesa? Sí, definitivamente es algo que tengo que leer. Pero no es solo eso; su relación es súper linda y no puedo dejar de pensar en cómo él se daba cuenta de cada una de las cosas que ella necesitaba.

Sinceramente, no hay mucho más allá de ellos "haciendo el delicioso" en cada capítulo (la autora misma lo advierte), pero todo estuvo tan bueno que ¡tengo que recomendárselo a todo el mundo! 😂🌶️

I have to admit, I’m pleasantly surprised! lol. I don’t usually pick up TikTok recommendations, but a friend suggested this one, and I figured I’d give it a shot🫣🤭. And wow, I’m so glad I did!

A man who is completely devoted and whose only goal is to please the girl he’s into? Yes, that’s a definite "must-read" for me. But it’s not just the spice; their relationship is actually really sweet. I loved how he noticed every single thing she needed.

Honestly, there isn’t much plot beyond them being obsessed with each other in every chapter (the author says so herself!), but it was so good that I have to recommend it to everyone! 😂

Me gustó mucho este libro no voy a mentir, me hizo reír muchísimo. Noah es un personaje con los nervios de punta, que tartamudea solo con ver a Sable y eso me encantó definitivamente en el mundo de los libros no se ven muchos hombres que no sean "machos"
Sable por otro lado es una chica que sabe lo que quiere, no tiene límites cuando se trata de Noah, me gustó mucho aunque me faltó un poco más de trama pero el epílogo estuvo bonito.

Based on the disclaimer at the beginning I was expecting nothing but filth, and it just wasn’t it for me. I’m so down for a reverse sub dynamic but I felt like Noah wasn’t even just a sub, more like a pure pushover. I didn’t enjoy sables character much either. She was strong minded and knew what she wanted but besides that I didn’t overly enjoy her🫠
I really struggled with this and it didn’t keep me as hooked as I’d hoped.

There were a few parts that I enjoyed but overall, it wasn’t my favourite.
Just glad it was short🫠

Sable is over her mediocre sex life and walks out on a hookup only to run into her new neighbor Noah on the way home. They have an instant connection that leads to a one night stand with the promise for more. Until they meet again in the office when he is introduced as her new boss. Sable does not want to lose her job so they need to play by very specific rules if this is going to continue. And Noah will no absolutely anything just to be in her orbit and please her. Noah is such a groveling obsessed hero. He cannot be in the same room as sable without losing the plot entirely. He is a bumbling mess around her and I was absolutely eating it up. I loved their relationship dynamic and how much angst and tension was wrapped up in their interactions. The meeting scene was top tier. The spice was incredible. The Dom sub dynamic in this story was very well done and I surly do love a praise kink! And I love it even more when its on the MMC side. Sooo freaking good. Even though it was a spicy good time and really short it still had some emotional weight that I really enjoyed and I wanted nothing but the best for these characters. The tense moments when I was sure they were going to be found out had me on the edge of my seat and I'm just so glad I picked this up on a whim. I was kicking my feet! Having an absolute blast! I am determined to read more from this author because this was exactly what I was looking for from this novella. I was hot and bothered, I was invested, and I was satisfied by the ending of their story! 5 Stars! And my first 5 Star of the year! Amazing!

I’m aware this is a me problem.

This book was recommended to me, and although the smut was…ok, I found the MMC to be too soft. He appeared more like a teenager with his first girlfriend than someone in his 30s.

I had high hopes for this one, just from the blurb alone, and then the beginning of the book hooked me in even more and I thought I was going to love this one🥳 However, it ended up falling flat and I stopped enjoying it but I powered through until the end hoping it improves, it did not😑 Very disappointed with the fact that I didn't like this one, the dynamic between the characters had so much potential, and the slight plot as well, but it all just ended up feeling 'meh'🤷‍♀️

Again this is just my opinion on the book‼️ If you loved it then good for you! And absolutely no hate to the author whatsoever, I'm here to review the book not them🫵

So, all of the tropes I listed above sound sooo good right?🙂‍↕️ And the book started off good too, we had the MMC who would literally stutter and blush like crazy around the FMC and she was the one to take control! Ugh DREAM!! And it was good for a while, until it wasn't🥸

I'm going to summerize the plot quickly since there isn't much:

We start off with Sable (FMC) having sex with her current boyf/fling whatever he was, and she's just not having a good time, he's just shit in bed, so she goes yeah that's me done bye and goes home🤣 On the way to her apartment she meets Noah (MMC) who ends up being her new neighbour😛they have a little chat, well he stutters and trips over his words while she talks🤓she later decides fuck it lemme go visit this hot man, so she goes accross the hall and he lets her in. 

So they have a little chat she makes some jokes he gets hard, she sits on his face, he gets all teary about it, having the time of his life, she decides it's the best ride she's had in a while so she decides yeah fuck it we shall be doing this again😏Until she goes to work and he walks in being introduced as her new boss...😟 So she initially says fuck no we cannot do this again because HR says no👎 But then she decides actually no I want you again so they have a little fun and she decies to set some rules and boundaries as they work together⛔️ Simple rules like no weird stuff in the ofiice keep it professional, if you dont like something tell me, and stuff like that. He has his own rule too, he just wants her to praise him heehee🫦

So rules set up, they go about their life doing this, but Sable does break her own rule with the keep it professional at work bit since they literally bang in his office, and she sends him a nude while in a meeting😎 All goes well until a rumour starts at work that they may be fucking, well 2 people speculating because they find out they live accross from each other, so she decides to distance herself from him and he obviously doesn't like it😕 So this goes on for a bit where they take a pause until he goes to her apartment and basically begs her to reconsider 🙏 and they can go together to HR and explain that they had a thing before working together, he literally says that he will crawl for her and she says you know what? sure yeah crawl then🫡So he does, they bang and they send an email to HR and that's it. Oh yeah in the Epilogue he tries to be Dominant to try it out. That's it. 🤗

SO, all that doesn't sound like a bad time right? Well it unfortunately wasn't the best as I badly wished it was😩 The first half or so of the book was good, I loved how the FMC took control and how the MMC would literally become a mess every time she even looked at him, he was so down bad for her🤪 And the forced proximity! It was delish😗 But then it just became a chore to read, Sable would set these rules and then break them but he was not allowed to step out of line at all🫤 like I get it we all love to put men in their place but it homnestly felt like she was controlling him while she does what she wanted and he had no say🤐 I just didn't like the FMC, and that's really rare, she was honestly just mean for no reason. She knew full well how he acts around her and how he turns into a mess but decides to send him a nude in the middle of a meeting anyway? 🥴 Like that could have sabotaged him in the meeting, or another instance where she basically gave him a hand job during a work dinner under the table around loads of people? Like are we trying to keep it professional or not??🫩

Not to mention she would snap at him a lot during their alone meetings, she would act like there is nothing between them, and to an extent that is understandable since it's work, but sometimes she would not speak to him outside of work so he had no choice but to bring it up at work and she would just snap and shut him down🙄 It honestly just felt like he deserved much better than her. Worst scene was probably when they returned home from a work dinner and she had one of her drunk friends staying over, but she still let Noah stay over, they had sex and they both fell asleep, waking up next morning remembering that she had a guest over and they cannot find out ‼️ So she decides to just shove him in a closet, which may have been funny in any other circustance but I genuienly felt bad for him, like he wanted her so much he would do anything, she didn't even apologise she just sent him on his way half dressed without a decent word😒

This whole cycle of them having sex, going to work, her saying they cannot be unprofessional, her breaking her own rules, them having sex, her being mean, them having sex again got so tiring😬 I was just so sick of reading the same thing over and over, I just didn't like the dynamic between the MMC and the FMC, mainly because of the way the MMC was treated, I mean ffs he had to crawl and beg her to be with him and CONSIDER them going to HR, like???? You shouldn't have to beg, I mean she even called him delusional at first for even thinking they can do such a thing😡 And she knew what she was doing to him and she would take advantage of it because she liked to see him react that way, like "accidentally" resting her leg againsgt his, knwoing he would become flustered, but just doing it for the thrill of knowing how it effects him. I wouldn't like it if the roles were reversed either, I just didn’t enjoy the book, and I really wish I did.

I like how real it gets about women’s dating in modern times and the lack of orgasms hits a bit too close to home. Its hard to achieve orgasm for women and the labia burn and a cramp along with an not willing to please partner all adds up.

Sable is a non apologetic character who clearly loves flustering Noah (who is a blushing clumsy wreak i love) and i can see their dynamic clearly. I just love a more dominant woman and a more sub male pairing, which we don’t always see in romance.

Noah’s nervousness and his eagerness to please Sable is just such a turn on. He’s desperate for it and i’m eating it up.

I had no clue about the business talk, it all sounded like a baby listening in on adults talk with all these charts and quarterly and margin words floating around.

And then ending it on a high point with the role reversal and the good girl— ugh. I just can’t. I was slurping up this book and desperately looking for seconds saying, ‘please sir, can i have some more?’ in a british accent like i was a starving orphan in a charles dickens novel.

We had crawling, begging, stammering, blushing, shaking, five year age gap but the female was younger and domme, he was the boss but she had all these power, it was spicy and entirely too short for my smut needs but still perfectly written and paced out. Looved it.

La verdad que siento que con este libro descubrí cosas de mí misma que no sabía ah jsjs, pero es verdad. Me gustó que sea básicamente solo una historia spicy que realmente no tenga trama peor la verdad que sí este fuese un libro de romance con trama y con esta misma dinámica de ella dominante y el sumiso, hubiese sido muy buena también.
Noah es el sumiso supremo literalmente, no he leído libros que tengan esta dinámica antes pero no creo que otro hombre lo supere (he wanted that cookie so bad). La forma en la que el se desvive por ella me encantó, todas las mujeres necesitan un Noah en su vida. Además de que de la nada tiraba frases como "Como si no hubiera pasado cada noche anhelando su piel" o "Dejaría que me doblará y escondiera como si no existiera, si eso significara volver a sentir su boca sobre la mía" o seaaa me enamoro.

Pd: la escena en que la Sable le dice de que tiene que tener reglas para que la relación no se desvirtúe y el dice que solo tiene una regla: Elogios, que le diga que es un buen chic y que lo está haciendo muy bien AAAAAAAAAA HE'S JUST A NEEDY MAN. O la escena esa cerca del final donde SE ARRODILLA Y GATEA HACIA ELLA AAAAAAA. O en la escena al principio cuando tienen relaciones por primera vez y el le dice que no hace falta que ella haga algo por él siempre y cuando ELLA LO USE PARA SU PROPIO PLACER AAAAAAAAAAAA (necesito mayúsculas más grandes).

Sip, definitivamente este libro me hizo descubrir cosas acerca de mi misma y la verdad, no me quejo en lo absoluto.

This was a really fun read! it made me smile and laugh to myself.
It was such a refresh to read a reverse dom/sub plot for a change. This is definitely a book for women who enjoy taking control and seeing a man yearn. The FMC was very different - so confident! i loved it.
i also really loved the hidden messages in this! was a very interesting touch.
It would of been good to of heard what the office and her friends reactions were about their dirty little secret though.
There was also abit where he was being gagged but he was still talking 😅 🤷🏼‍♀️
But! i really loved the ending it was cute to see the MMC trying to be dom considering his shy, gentlemen like character throughout. I loved their sexual relationship development and how he found his confidence at the end.
The plot was a nice, relaxed flow too.

I liked this short novella however felt it was very predictable, a little cringey and at times frustrating. Sable meets Noah and almost instantly is going back with him to his apartment for a night of fun - I found it to be a little bit too quick if I’m honest, I know that was sort of the point, but the obsession that led after it from Noah was a little cringey. Noah being her new boss the week after was extremely predictable however it did add an extra amount of pressure and higher stakes.

I enjoyed that Noah was written to be caring and considerate of Sable and her feelings, however I feel that he resembled a fumbling and embarrassed teenager rather than a man in his 30’s. I found Sable very frustrating, she was not open about her feelings and quite frankly made Noah feel like shit.

Not a lot of substance to the plot in this book but was a good, quick palate cleanser.

i absolutely love sable, her character and personality. the way she takes charge, isn’t afraid to speak her mind and set the pace. she’s a go getter, she knows what she wants, what she needs and doesn’t back down from making them clear.

and then we have noah, sweet sweet noah. who cannot help but crumble just at the thought of sable, nevermind being in her proximity. when this man is actually able to get his words out, he knows exactly what to say. he is so sweet and gentle, but his mouth? filth🙇🏼‍♀️

I read Crawl For Me in one night… because who actually needs sleep? 😅 This book completely hooked me from page one, and I honestly couldn’t put it down.

The chemistry between Sable and Noah is absolutely off the charts 🔥 intense, addictive, and impossible to ignore. Every interaction crackles, making this the perfect choice if you’re craving something quick, steamy, and full of tension.

If you love short romances that pull you in immediately and deliver maximum heat without dragging things out, this one is definitely worth picking up. I’m clearly in my short spicy novella era, and this fit the mood perfectly.

Fast-paced, steamy, and highly bingeable.
