“Laura Best is authentic and shines in every way—the world needs more of her light!”
I adored this read! What I loved most was how philosophy, science, humor and real anecdotes from people’s lives were weaved together in a way that felt like your cool professor teaching via the Socratic method on the topic of passion. I appreciate how much research went into this. Each “spark” was so unique, I especially loved #7 (on shame). I loved how interactive and conversational this book felt, I definitely see this book as something I re-read every so often.
Inspiring and practical read. Not your typical "visualize your happiness" nonsense.
This book comes out an important time as the world charges forward with less human connection and more loneliness, sadness and lack of fulfillment. Through real stories and useful guidance, this book can help a person looking to embrace or re-embrace the things that bring them joy and fulfillment.
Imagine the fulfillment in finding what you were born to do. This book offers practical ways to find our own passions. I could relate to the personal stories the author wove into the book. There are exercises throughout to help identify what makes a person “buzz”. After reading I have identified and am committed to investing more into what truly makes me happy.
Laura's book is amazing. It is informative and interesting and fun. I am already hoping she is working on her next book. It is that good. Tell your friends.
