In Razor’s Edge Part One, Jay Bolt takes their readers through an incredible tale of darkness, light, secrets, mystery, love, and monsters. Codie is a 23 year old hypochondriac who has been through unimaginable trauma in her lifetime- having been abused by a family member and left alone to care for her dying grandfather. When the mysterious Riker returns from a 2 year long journey outside of their small town that no one ever leaves, and Codie’s best friend is added to a growing list of missing women, Codie is unexpectedly thrown into a world of gods, monsters, and secrets. As she dives head first into helping the Ashcroft brothers (and uncle) put together the missing pieces, her list of questions grows. Who is taking these women? What is their connection to the god and goddesses that have fallen? What is Codie’s place in all of this? And, what is Riker not telling her?
Jay wrote an amazing story with twists, turns, and adventure- not to mention a potential growing romance. I could not put this book down, and you won’t be able to either. I cannot wait to see where the second part takes us!
