This was an excellent book. Although it is targeted at kids 10 thru 16, I found much of interest as an adult reader who enjoys animation and animated feature films. Very readable, captivating illustrations, and has an excellent glossary and index at the end.
Excellent tips and insider information that I had never heard before. Covered a wide variety of animation styles as well as all of the steps involved in creating animation, all of which was clearly explained and had relevant illustrations. And every few pages it includes small projects to apply and expand what you learn throughout the book. Then goes on to give advice on what to study in high school and college if you are thinking of going into animation for a career,
I would highly recommend this book as well as the entire "Art Off the Wall" series by Richard Spilsbury.
