Seth & Trista #3

The Final Encore

Rate this book
Nearly five years have passed since Seth and Trista said their vows. Seth’s career as a famous country musician has been full of ups and downs, but life couldn’t be better for the Storms. That is, until one of the demons from their past returns, forcing them once again into a battle they never expected to relive.

Savannah has blossomed into a mature twenty-two-year-old college student with a bright future ahead of her. Seth and Trista have never been so proud, but Savannah has been keeping something from them—a secret that will send her life into a tailspin, jeopardizing the relationships she cherishes the most.

Luke Tyson is a talented up-and-coming country musician who is lucky enough to land himself a job touring with Seth, one of the musicians he has always admired. He leaves everything behind to make his dream come true, but when it does, he realizes that it comes with an unexpected price.

Seth, Trista, Savannah, and Luke have been brought together in this story filled with old love, new love, and impossible decisions. When the past threatens their future, their lives are tested, cracking the foundation of their love. As they find themselves fading into the darkness, all they can hope for is a chance for a final encore.

The Final Encore is the third book in the Seth & Trista series. It follows Losing Faith and The Greatest Gift. It is Asher's seventh novel. He is also the author of Insignificant Moments, Across the Creek, Beneath the Willow, Close to Home, Losing Faith, and The Greatest Gift.

This was an interesting ending to this series; however, the plot did seem somewhat contrived. The best thing about this series is the characters, even though they seem a little unreal. Seth's anger issues and his immature ways of handling life's problems are a detriment to each of these stories.

The characters are well developed. The problem for me was that some of the characters are very hard to like. Some of the situations are also hard to even consider as possible, fiction or not no.

Nuts vs Revenge

This book was well written with realistic characters, scenery descriptions & conversations. Trista & Seth left behind an ex-boyfriend of Trista's. Tuck had spent time in prison & was very angry that she &Seth had gotten married. Together they had a son. Trista had a daughter, Savannah; & Seth had a daughter, Faith, from a previous marriage. Events lead to harrowingly no experiences. The big question is "who's responsible for them? I figured things out but it is a good, easy read!

Great Read

I've really enjoyed this series. I read all three books in three days. I could not put them down. The characters just pull you in and don't let go. The storyline is very good and the fluency is compelling. I would recommend these books to anyone who wants to escape the day to day rat race.

Overall liked the series. This third book seemed more overly dramatic and predictable than the other ones. All are decent stories with good endings. Think in general the characters, relationships, etc could be fleshed out a little more.

WOW!! There were several times that I needed Kleenex during this book. Not how I was expecting this book to go. I am glad they finally got Tuck put back in jail just too bad he caused so many problems at what should have been a wonderful time for Savannah and Luke. And then to find out that Trevor was behind part of what had happened. I cried because I thought Luke had died after he saved Savannah at the lake, but was happy that he didn't. With all they went through it just proves that true love can get you through any situation it just takes some work and faith.

This was just an okay series for me. I have a hard time with books that have characters that I really dislike - such as Seth and Trista. You could definitely tell the same author wrote these three books as the storylines were so similar but with different characters. The ending to this one seemed rushed and when the epilogue jumps to a year later you realize that two things that Seth was wrestling over were just completely dropped until the epilogue.

The Final Encore: Contemporary Romance Novel (Seth and Trista Book 3)

The continue love story of Seth and Trista. More then three years have pass, Seth and Trista have married and had a baby boy, Savannah has completed three and a half year of college but all is not well. Savannah is pregnant with Luke's baby and Tuck, Trista's old fiancé, is back. OK story.

Final encore

This story of love and mystery was an enjoyable escape. I wanted an easy read and this story kept me entertained. I have read other books by Jeremy Asher and found them equally entertaining.

This is another good novel in the Seth and Trista series of novels. Some of the action was a little unbelievable, some of the dialogue was stilted and overdone, but the characters kept me reading. Asher does a magnificent job of developing believable and likable characters.

unfinished thriller?

This book was a little more of a thriller than I like. It feels a bit unfinished with Lule and Savannahs story. It all just seemed too far fetched...

Good mystery/family drama. Kept the worst villain concealed well into the story.

A little unrealistic in the constant thanks and praise to the spouses.

Quick Read

It was okay, but predictable. Too much sappiness at the end. Characters were good and well developed. Could be read in one sitting.

The final book was sweet, had a good ending to the series. I admired Seth because his family meant more to him than his singing career.

I didn't read the first two books, but found this to be a good choice for a quick read. I didn't feel like I missed out on anything by missing the first two books.

Wow!

This was so good! It was just as good as the first two books of the Trista and Seth story, and ended beautifully. It takes place about four years after the second book ends. Very romantic, but lots of action, too. You're going to love this trilogy.
