Oh my gosh this is such a gem of a book! Turtle With A Toolbox by Beth Ferry is a must-read for children. Turtle works hard to create a castle masterpiece of a home for him and animal friends. Young kids can get an inside view of what goes into building in a way that is comprehensive and inspiring. I love that turtle comes prepared and is up for the job - GREAT!

Turtle carries a toolbox wherever he goes. He always has tools on hand in case he wants to build a treehouse, for example. With help from his friend Beaver, a castle treehouse is quickly built and ready to enjoy.

Picture book about a turtle with tools who helps fix the brother things in the forest with the help of a beaver and other forest animals to make a fine castle or home for all to enjoy. Simple text and colorful illustrations and easy read for first grade children and others.

I love the illustrations that the Dudolf does! This book is gorgeous. IS the snail screaming because it's moving so fast....? Well as fast a a turtle can go! I do have one question... Did they build their home in front of the Owls home? The one in the tree. Did they just totally block their view?

This book is adorable! I can't wait to use it during a tools/building storytime for preschoolers and younger.
