This was a good quick read!
Knuck was insane 😭 he bulldozed his way into Nyomi’s life & didn’t let up from day one!! That man saw what he wanted & stopped at nothing to get it! He applied PRESSURE from begging to end!! Through all his craziness he showed Nyomi the love she didn’t know she wanted & needed! This was a cute quick read with a lil unhinged craziness & spice! Definitely getting into more from this author!

Knucks Girl
I enjoyed Knuck's crazy azz. He was definitely the epitome of: 🎵🎶I just wanna say, you’re mine, you’re mine. F#$k what you heard, you’re mine, you’re mine. 🎶🎵
He wasnt insane, not really but he was a little off his rocker when it came to Nyomi. The man was in love day one 🤭 He knew she was gone be his forever and he went about applying the necessary and sometimes unnecessary pressure to make sure she knew it too. Nyomi just wanted some really good sex for one night but little did she know Knuck was on a different type of time.
I liked the pics at the beginning of the chapters, the text messages, the social media posts all of it just made it more modern. I love when a book just feels black and this one was blackety black and I appreciated that. I loved that Knuck helped Nyomi push past her insecurities, by really loving her through it. Despite Knuck being brash he was soft for her when needed and the love he had was clear. A quick solid fun read.

Ok listen! I really thought Knuck was going to wear my nerves out with his unhinged self but baby I love that man. He was so locked in on Nyomi and the way he went after her and stayed on her needs to be a blueprint to how it's done. I loved this story. I was cheesing and giggling the whole time.

I read this book based on a recommendation. I told if this story wasn’t good that I would be side-eyeing her and the author. Well I didn’t have to side-eye anyone because this story was a good unhinged mess. Knuck applied that pressure the only way he knew how to do. Did he get he wanted, well you have to read it to find out. Let me read more in Ms. Author Ma’am’s catalog.

When Nyomi finally agreed to Knuck’s invitation for a weekend rendezvous, she had no idea what chaos awaited her. Once Knuck got a taste of her, he was relentless, determined not to let her go.
When I was in my 20s, this was the kind of crazy I liked. I loved every moment of Knuck and Nyomi’s interactions. He saw what he wanted and stood ten toes down. Nyomi couldn’t deny his sincerity even if she tried. He proved himself from day one, and that wall she built from dealing with a trash man came tumbling down.
I will always root for a Black man who loves a Black woman wholeheartedly, and Knuck did exactly that. This is a book I would reread whenever I need a good pick-me-up or a palate cleanser.
Definitely a must-read for the Black romance girlies.

I laughed a lot during this book but I’m unsure if this was meant for comic relief. I’ll give it a 3 because it wasn’t bad ??? But not great?? But not comedy ??? But funny??? But i had fun even though I rolled my eyes enough times to have a headache.

This was a good story. I ain’t gone lie when I first started reading it I stopped and was planning to DNF, but I came back to it like a day ago and finished it. If I’m not mistaken the author did warn at the beginning that it would be a lot of sex. I’m not sure if it was this book or another, so I didn’t take points off for that. Honestly the story was good enough and I just skipped all the sex it was like every other page. It wasn’t great I feel like there should’ve been more and could’ve been if there wasn’t so much sex. The way his family was just so in love with her was crazy since she didn’t say or do anything the day of the Sunday dinner. She literally sat there and maybe laughed, smiled, and things like that, but there was no conversation or anything. But they were talking about how real she was and how she was the best. I was literally wondering “how?”. But I guess we had to imagine that more went on during dinner for them to come to that conclusion. Other than that and a couple other things it was a good book. I was loving that it was over done on the drama. No killing, no drugs, no cheating.

Sometimes your bookish bestie pulls rank on your current read and hits you with that “READ THIS BOOK NEEEOOOWWW” energy...and when I tell you I’m glad I listened? Whew.
Because baby... Knuck. That man is different.
Let’s be clear: he’s not unhinged.
He is aggressively and obsessively persistent, and I mean that in the best way.
Knuck saw what he wanted, Nyomi, and didn’t waste time playing it cool. He applied all the pressure, consistently, confidently, and without apology. From the jump, he let her (and the world) know:
“You are mine. Period. No further explanation needed.”
And poor Nyomi was trying to stand on business. She was over there like, “This is just a casual link-up, nothing serious.”
But Knuck?? Oh, he said, “Nah. Try again.” 💅🏾
He showed up when he felt like it. Showed out when necessary. And turned every interaction into a bold declaration that this man was not letting up off her. At all.
This book gave me a time and a HALF.
Knuck is the walking definition of Apply Pressure, and I loved every single page of it.
So if you’re into men who:
Claim their woman with their chest
Don’t let up until they get what they want
Make “casual” connections look like full-blown destiny
Then go ahead and tap into this one.
This author did what needed to be done.

Still a solid five stars on the re-read, and my first review still holds. Keon/Knuck was crazy, and did not understand boundaries or the word no, but mannn I loved him hard lol. He was down for Nyomi all day and twice on Sundays. Loved them.

Absolutely loved everything about this. Knuck was that dude! HAWT, funny, sexy, and not taking no for an answer. He knew Nyomi was endgame and that was it. Was he sane? Not really. But I get it, girl. I fell for him right along with her. Goodness!! My only niggle is that I could have done without the jet nonsense. It was only one scene, but nothing about Knuck said he had private jet money. The rest was perfection, and extremely relatable. Also, this book is 80% sex, but guess who's not complaining? This girl, because it never felt gratuitous and it was always HOT.
Lastly, it was my first time reading a novella that contained pics of the characters at the start of their respective chapters, screenshots of text messages and other 'pictures'. On the one hand, it made the book feel a bit juvenile. On the other, I really liked looking at Knuck for his chapters ha ha! I read it on the Kindle app. Apparently, on Kindle devices you can't really see the pics.

Talk about PRESSUREEEEEEE! Knuck ain’t let of your girl Nyomi. He was on her way before he ever had her, and the moment she took the bait he didn’t waste any time in setting things in motion to have a piece of her.
Once he had her - he wasn’t playing any games. He was applying pressure, and showing up every where like it was his business to be there.
He claimed her as hers, and she wanted no part in a relationship, but he was wearing her down. Eventually after time she just had to come to her senses, and realize he wasn’t going to let up, and she was stuck with him.
She wasn’t about his crazy, but she lowkey loved how crazy he was about her.
At the end it all came together for them both 🤍

I was wholly unprepared for Knuck, let’s start there. Knuck was definitely not expecting to fall crazy on love over a one night stand but the way Nyomi did him & let him do her, whew it was over with!!! He said she was him and he ain’t coming up off that for nobody !!! So he proceeds to date Nyomi despite her pleas that there Jan nothing happening between them.
Listen the way this book took me out was crazy . Knuck was everywhere, flying it and taking her on dates, popping up at her shop, anywhere she was at he would be. I gotta say though Knuck was definitely crazy lol and basically Stockholm syndrome my girl into a relationship, he was a good man. He was amazing with dates and keeping her laughing. I loved his intentionality with making her feel beautiful and being there for her even though he lived in a different state. He never gave her room to doubt him or what he wanted from her and I l thought it was beautiful.
Their love story was sweet and she was perfect for him and accepting of who he was and never tried to change his craziness or his jobs. This was perfect!!!! 🤩

4!! (Took off a little for a few grammatical errors. I’m hard with ratings) Knuck is from the streets and Ny just wanted to get flown out to get her back broke. After “stalking” her on Instagram for a while she gets flown out and gives him some and he gets sprung!!!! She can’t shake him at all. He’s crazy!! Like crazy….but in a sweet way. lol. This is truly an unhinged romance and not one I thought I would like but I loved it. I want me a man that loves this hard!!! Lawd. I loved how the author also used the screenshots of the social medial and text messages for the story too which really brought the story to life.

Knuck was obsessed with Ny and hadn’t even met her in person just going off social media pictures…what was crazy was that she ignored him for a while. I liked that Nyomi recognized that the way that Keon was moving wasn’t normal and voiced that to him. Of course Keon didn’t care but at least Nyomi [and her friends] acknowledged it, ya know?
Keon moved like any other unhinged, romance MMC you may have read about. He is possessive, talks reckless, deals with street life, what he says goes, and doesn’t play about the FMC. Nyomi is taken aback by all of this but is also intrigued. As the saying goes, “curiosity killed the cat”, and in this instance, Keon murdered Nyomi’s poonani…repeatedly 😂
