Highlander’s Desire
Mariah Stone has done it again! I wondered if the time travel would get old, but no! Love the story of Angus and Rogene! She is a student of history that has her dream come true, she travels to 1310. Angus is a warrior that always put his family and clan 1st, but can he put himself 1st is the question. And Rogene always looked out for her brother, but how can she if she is in the past? Will the two Discover they are meant for each other? And learn they can put themselves 1st? Love the cliffhanger at the end, can’t wait to read the book.

Highlander’s Vow
Another wonderful tale of time travel! James a police officer from Oxford heads to Scotland to follow a lead in regards to two missing persons. Once at the last know place, Eilean Donan Castle. There he meets a fairy that sends him back to 1310, stating he will find his true love.
Locked in a dark, musty room he is rescued by Catrìona, the Laird sister. She takes James as a prisoner, he is strangely dress and what is a lighter to James was Black Magic to Catriona!
Catriona is on the verge of taking a vow to become a nun. She promised her brother to wait 6 years before she takes her vow. Hoping she will change her mind, but she sees it as the only way to be free.
There is murders, mysteries, battles and the missing persons are found! Plenty to keep James in 1310, not to mention a beautiful women.

Highlander’s Bride
Another winner! Love this series. Bryanna is a music teacher and on vacation with her mother and sister, seeing the sights in Scotland. Bryanna family is overprotective of Bryanna due to the fact she is a diabetic. Always checking her glucose, always having insulin on hand. Feeling unwell Bryanna is looking for a restroom and ends up in a storage room. Sitting on a rock so to be able to test herself, that faerie we all love appears.
Raghnall MacKenzie has come home to claim his inheritance, but in order to do so he must marry per his brother. So he waits for his bride to show at the church with his family all around, but no bride appears. The MacKenzie head back to the castle and Raghnall continues to wait. Bryanna wakes up thinking she is dreaming she is in the 13th century. When she see the sad man by the church she asks what is wrong and when Raghnall says he is in need of a bride to get his lands. She offers herself, why not it’s a dream and he is handsome.
As always, wonderful characters and old favorites are included. Storyline grabs you and has you turning pages. Plus there are a few laughs thrown in. Can’t wait to read David story.

HIGHLANDER'S DESIRE:
WHAT A PAGE TURNING TIME-TRAVELER THRILLER. I was held in suspense page after page. This is a fast-paced action-packed romance adventure. Sineag, the pictish faerie, met Rogene in the castle basement by the time travel rock. Sineag told her she was destined for Angus Mackenzie, her true love. As the stone pulsed to life Rogene could not resist the urge to place her hand on the rock imprint. Immediately she was taken in obscurity and passed out. The story is about how Rogene is college doctorate bound woman who is steeped in the history of Scotland's past. It covers her coming to terms with being in the fourteen century; it covers the romance between Angus and Rogene; it covers the dangerous viper Euphemia and her desire for Angus; it covers how Euphemia hates Rogene and threatens her life; it covers how Angus is kidnapped; how Rogene gathers men to rescue him; it covers Rogene's return to the 21st century to be with her brother and to finish her thesis; it covers her return to 1310 with her brother accidentally in tow. An excellent book. I highly recommend it.

HIGHLANDER'S VOW:
Plenty of action, mystery and looking for justice. I enjoyed Catriona's character. She was a warrior who fought when her loved ones and her clan was threatened. Yet she felt unlovable and useless. She decided never to marry. After nine years her old betrothed came back into her life and put her in a spin. At the same time Detective James met Sineag at the castle and was thrown back in time. While in the past James was able to crack a case of attempted murder. James was attracted to Catriona and she to him. But she was torn between two men, James and her old betrothed. The difference between the two men was like night and day. Although Catriona had decided to become a nun, she started having doubts. An old enemy of the clan attacked and Catriona and James threw themselves into defending the clan. An exciting story. A love that was full of respect and desire. A must read. I highly recommend it.

Highlander's Desire
I have loved every book I have read from Ms. Stone. Considering this is not my normal genre ,HR, I have to give this author an enormous amount of praise for holding my attention this long. I'm sure I stated previously, the time travel is what drew me in the beginning. However, her writing is absolutely amazing! I could start out hating one of the characters, thinking there isn't a chance for redemption, before I know it he, or she, is my newest favorite. Angus and Rogene were those characters. Rogene, outside of her brother, came off a bit selfish in my eyes. Angus had such a huge heart, but couldn't find his voice. It only took a few chapters to prove how wrong I was. And about 700 years. This is written by one very talented, and imaginative, author. Thank you for a HEA that I never saw coming. I hope there is a lot more in store for this series.

Highlander's Vow
The newest book in this series was amazing! I think each one I read, I say 'This is my favorite'. While being complete opposites, Catriona and James could not have been a better match. While she had so much faith in her calling, she didn't have faith in herself. James had a rough childhood. He lost his faith long ago. He believes in facts and evidence. The two of them bond while looking into an attempt on her brother's life. What they don't realize is how deep that bond goes. Each of them have will need the other to heal. Although they will struggle and differences to overcome, they will find their HEA. Suspense, action and romance make this quite an intense read.

Highlander's Bride
There are very few authors that can write a HR I will read. Ms. Stone is in that handful. I have read every book in this series. They get better with each couple. This one touched a bit close to home. (My husband is diabetic) Raghnall and Bryanna had a lot of obstacles to overcome. Love, however, will conquer all. These two will find their HEA. You will have to read it, and enjoy the journey. You can thank me later.

Mariah Stone has written another excellent Scottish Highlander time travel story, this is the seventh book in her series about members of the Mackenzie family. This is Raghnall story, if you read the previous books I'm sure you will remember him the youngest brother of the Laird. Raghnall has had a lot of sorrow in his life and lost a woman he thought he loved very much, because of a attack on her farm by reivers. After many years he has returned to his clan to be with his family and claim land owed to him. In the future 2021 Bryanna Fitzpatrick is touring Eilean Donan castle with her mother and sister, Bryanna is feeling weak and needs to check her blood sugar as she is a diabetic, and finds herself in the year1306. Without revealing to much of the story I felt each book got better and better with each story, I would recommend to start with the first book to get a good understanding about the whole family! I really liked the involvement of his family and could feel the love they had for him and worried about his welfare. The description of the battle scenes were written so well,I felt I could see and feel them happening, this book has so much to recommend to people to read it. Has drama, love scenes, battle scenes and time travel and a fairy woman who is involved in each book! I was given this book as a ARC for my honest opinion and I honestly felt this book was so good I gave it a 5 star rating, Thanks so much Mariah Stone for letting me read this wonderful book.

Highlander's Desire:
Another engaging time travel story. I am always amazed how elements from the present could be woven into history and what the effects could be. Rogene and Angus meet during the time of Scottish independence involving The Bruce and his link to the Mackenzie and Ross clans. I really enjoyed both of these characters and all the suspicions and baggage they bring. I must say, Euphemia while being not really likeable did bring a different twist to the story. There was suspense right to the end where many of the loose details were explained.

Highlander's Vow:
Sineag is such a sneaky Fae! I really like how she provides opportunities to bring together couples separated by time. Rich with history and the struggles of the time, Catriona and James both have different yet similar challenges to address. Having the story weave around this couple’s individual strengths made the persistent unrest in the highlands interesting to follow. Satisfying right to the very end!

Highlander's Bride:
Time travel with a significant medical condition causes so many hazards! I really like both Bryanna and Raghnall and their personal stories. Watching so many pieces of the plot come together- between Bryanna and Raghnall plus the impending battle with the Ross clan made for interesting reading. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next as the hint at the end suggested.

When I read a book by Mariah Stone I know I am reading a romance where there is always a moment of tension. Where love finds its way, even through the ages. And I love her Highlander series. Where a person (great that it is also men who fall in love with the woman immensely) with the help of Sìneag go back in time and find the love of their lives.
I enjoyed these books from the hand of Mariah Stone. She brought the time of the Highlanders back to my mind through her words.

In the series Called by a Highlander these 3 parts belong together where a young woman returns to the time of the 13th century with her little brother in part 5. Later, a detective investigating the case of the missing teenagers follows in part 6. And in part 7 another young female. The fun part is that the characters that go back in time all interact with each other making you feel like you're part of their lives.

I personally loved the book Highlander's Vow. (part 6) How wonderful is it to read that James falls in love with a woman who was born 800 years earlier? Despite his sober view of the world as a detective, he must realize that there is more between heaven and earth. How does he survive in the Middle Ages without the convenience of the 21st century?

And let's be honest, aren't you curious about how Bryanna will fare in the 13th century without her medication from the 21st century, namely insulin pens.

Great books where the power of love is given an important place

The second collection of The Call To The Highlanders Series Books 5 - 7. Just as good as the the collection.
Highlanders Dersire
It was her turn for happiness. My heart raced as I read this. The constant excitement and the emotional feelings between Angus and Rogene was breathtaking. Something about them it every nerve. Mariah Stone hot every bell and whistle with this one.
Highlanders Vow :
Two people so in need of finding a acceptance and love find each other in the most unusual time. A story filled with so much emotional strive that you are constantly taken in with there feeelings. Catriona and James are the perfect couple that complements each other. There chemistry pulls you in. As for the end of the story, it is the best. The words say it all. As the tears you will shed.
Highlanders Bride :
This story was so amazing, touching, heartwarming, emotionally connecting. I can’t think of enough adjectives to begin to tell you how I feel. Two people so meant to be together. Raghnall and Byranna were from two different centuries. Though that didn’t change whom they really were. They each brought out something they both needed and pulled on a strength and an unselfish love. The story will shake your emotions, warm you, put tears in your eyes, and believe in true love and a soulmate can happen.

Great to have these three books in a box set. I have read all three as individual books, but this is a wonderful way to encourage new readers to take a chance on this series.
Highlander’s Desire - Rogene and Angus are a delightful couple who struggle to overcome outside influences and commitments in their journey to love. The ending was certainly unexpected for me and I am looking forward to finding out the consequences of David’s actions in future books. This book is full of suspense and danger, and the ending was fantastic.
Highlander’s Vow - Sparks fly between James and Catriona from the beginning, but it takes them a little while to accept their feelings. Excellent plot line with some danger and a few twists. This story pulled me in from the very first page and I was hooked.
Highlander’s Bride - Beautiful story with a couple of twists. Ragnall needs to prove to the new Laird that he is responsible, therefore, when Bryanna turns up out of the blue, he convinces her to marry him. Their time together is like a roller coaster ride, with Bryanna’s health growing more dire as time goes on. The battle scenes are heart wrenching. I love this series.

I love the stories in these steamy, stand alone, Time Travel Medieval to Modern Times and vice versa. They are all very well written with great story lines that draw you immediately into the story and keeps you turning the pages to the end of each story. The stories are filled with great characters women who find they have inner strengths, they never would have found about themselves if they hadn't traveled through time. Men who are loyal to their women and will protect them no matter what. These books each have a great storyline and the characters are mentioned in each of the 3 stories, but in no way are you left with a hanging ending in any of them. Purchase with confidence that you are going to have a few hours of great reading enjoyment!

Great story!

Raghnall was a lost soul. He father was a mean man and told his son to leave at age fourteen. He went through so much and then decided to come home to his two brothers and sister. Bryanna was visiting Scotland with her mother and sister. She went into the castle and touched the hand paint and landed in the 1300’ s Scotland. She was diabetic and fell in love with Raghnall. She went through a lot while there, but had to return to 2021 because of her diabetes. Well you’ve got to read this story for all the adventures.

Were nice. The disruptions of the clothes and lifestyle was good. The battles were blood shedding and hard. True to the time period. Thank you for a look into the past. I liked all the interaction within the family. Thank you.

Great Read

I do not usually read time travel novels ,but I love this author so I thought hmmm why not.
The last novel #7 really kept me wondering how she was going to keep the two main characters together in the end.
Job well done Mariah!

A faerie loves to send people through time to find their soul mate. Most go to the 13th century but some goes to the 21st century. She is such a sentimental.
