A hard, dominating Bratva Prince. A fearless, crazy Cartel Princess.
Aleksandr Volkov
I've lived my life with rigid control.
A tight vice on myself and my emotions.
Scars from my past have left me broken. Riddled with guilt and anguish.
When my baby sister was kidnapped, I feared the worst. That she'd suffered the same fate as our mother stirred up those feelings I've tried so desperately to bury and ignore.
I never expected to find her.
Drea Ortega.
A five-foot, tattooed, killing machine who took my breath away from the first moment I laid eyes on her.
She was my beacon of light in my dark, chaotic world.
My heart. My soul. My everything.
Drea Ortega
I loved my life in the Cartel.
It was brutal and violent. Rough and bloody. All things I thoroughly enjoyed.
I liked the way it challenged me. Forced me to think on my feet and adapt.
Getting kidnapped happened sometimes in my line of work. It was nothing to cry over. Nothing to freak out about. You rolled up your sleeves and dealt with it as best you could.
The Bratva were the stuff of nightmares. Rumours of their brutality and viciousness circled far and wide in the organised crime world. My dad told me to steer clear of them, and now I was stuck in the lion's den.
I never expected to find him.
Aleksandr Volkov.
Tall. Dark. Sexy. He was hotter than any man had the right to be. Over six and a half feet of pure muscle and sin with a secret heart of gold.
He forced his way into my life, and now, I wasn't sure I could live without him.
Bratva Prince is not a standalone. It is the second book in the Bratva series. This series is interconnected. Although each book centers around a different couple, the overall storyline flows throughout the entire series. This means that some questions may be left unanswered at the end of a book, but will be addressed in the book that follows. Each couple does receive a HEA.

Changing this to the 5 stars it deserved. No I actually cannot even HANDLE how obsessed I am with this series!!!! And oh my god did it somehow get a million times better with book 2?!!!! I never want it to end but I also cannot put these damn books down I swear there’s some sort of drug in here!!!
I’ll continue to say it…. This is how you do dark mafia romance!! I’m so invested it’s not even funny. I mean captor captive will always hold a special place in my heart because something’s wrong with me and I’ve accepted that. He’s a literal 6’7” 240lb of sheer muscle, russian mafia prince, who can unalive people with his bare hands…. How could she not fall in love with him??He literally takes her as his prisoner and then quickly realizes he’s obsessed with how psychotic and unhinged she is and finds himself in a bit of a pickle. I mean the man smirks when she punches him in the face… if that’s not love idk what is!!! He also calls her Malyshka which is my favorite nickname ever. I die when he speaks to her in Russian.
DREA AND ALEKSANDR HAVE MY WHOLE HEART!!!! No I can’t I’m obsessed with them!!! Book 1 I definitely felt like the romance was lacking a bit, but oh my goodness that was so not the case here!! The tension and chemistry was immaculate! Their adoration for one another?? Chefs kiss. The way she’s the only one that can calm him down and help him fight his demons and he’s the only one she allows to fully bring her walls down around no I can’t!!
The way this series has the BEST FMCs dark romance has ever seen?????? Crazy, blood thirsty, bad ass bitches. All of them. Drea…. No Aleksandr I too would be okay with her smacking me in the face. I LOVED HER!! And Aleksandr….. sir. SIRRRRRR!!!!! I’m losing my mindddddddddd!! He does in fact love to chase her…. If ya know ya know. Hehehehe they match each others freak so hard it was so hot for what? The mouth on this man should be studied in a lab. But I also loved that their relationship was not overshadowed by lust because their love was so strong!
Ugh and just the PLOT, it gets even more messy and insane in this book, I neeeeeeed to know what happens next!! The ending had me so gagged! I also cried so like I’m sorry but rude. Out of pocket. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK????
Also Nikolai Volkov is already my favorite brother…. Him and Tatiana are gonna ruin me. I just know it. But this entire found family is everything to me! I cannot get over how funny these books are like the dynamic between these siblings KILLS ME! I’m pretending I’m apart of their family nobody can tell me otherwise.
Okay on to book 3.
“She could call me whatever she wanted, and I would still fall to my knees at her feet in worship.”
“I love you so much it hurts. It physically hurts to be without you, to not see you. To not speak to you. To think of you gone. You’ve managed to burn yourself into my mind, my soul. Branded yourself in my heart. So, now you own it.”
“Being around you soothes my mind, it quiets the storm raging inside of me. It brings peace to my soul.”
“I needed Drea like I needed air in my lungs. Blood in my veins. Food in my belly. She was everything I needed to survive, and the thought of being without her was…unbearable.”
Ahh yes, let me read about another strong independent woman whose character arc goes down the drain because she has to give things up for a mid man who calls her fuck toy. But oh, he's so pretty and tall ✨😍
I am LOVING this series so much. Poor Dayton, definitely cried towards the end of the book. Iykyk. Super happy that Aleksandr has a book to himself. Him and Drea were the perfect pair. Did not expect that ending at all. Excited to read more. I do hope we get a novella of Arturo and Ilyanna, I miss their POVs. I'm hoping the next book is Lukyans; I felt so bad for him when he overheard his brothers speak about him :( Mikhail made a appearance finally, eager to see if he will be more present in the series. Highly recommend you read this series, you won't be disappointed!!

Why do authors think us romance girlies (most, not all) like reading the MCs having sex with OW/OM in explicit details?? It’s gross, especially in this book. He fucks OW after he has already met the FMC and is attracted to her.
˚ ┊✦ good holy god does this get series going to get any better.. honestly i am obsessed to the core reading this series i have found a new fav mafia series I have grown to love with each characters!!
At first we do have the plot that does get bit slow into without revealing spoilers as it does bring in from the first book for the ending.. the way this series had my jaw on the floor if you also need a quick fast pace page turner this is definitely it you won’t have any disapointments at all
˚ ┊ ✦ aleksandr Volkov
This man how can I explain how hot, damaged emotional and stubborn this guy is but man is he gets horny so damn quick even when he has his side piece chick to have sex with before he meets drea like okay my dude you do you 🤭🤭what’s not to love about this man he is so shredded to the core part of the mafia gang which is even more hot 🥵 loves to be any danger not taking no for an answer 🤭🤭
˚ ┊ ✦ drea ortega It took me a while to like drea than the first girl illayana I did like drea but she was not in her comfort zone when it came to the boys at first like she was bit shy which understandable being in a room full of hot stunning men 😈 ╭⊹ ₊˚⊹ "𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤𝙮 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚". ˚┊✦ Romance - Epilogue Holy god grail…. Definitely needed holy water after reading these scenes because holy fuck… 🥵🖤🔪 need I say more when it came to these two like shit evens when the banter side came around
The ending of these last few pages god holy shit this author knows what she’s doing breaking your heart in million pieces all the emotions running through so wild 😭 but dang I cannot wait to continue fall in love with new characters and find out what happens next am I going to get more heartbroken , backstabbed ? I found her character rather annoying honestly though I did quite enjoy how she raddled on the brothers using them for sex but honestly would be too with how ripped those guys are ! I am unsure how her character will unfold in next couple books.
Im so excitedto finally start reading this book, i know im going to get. emotionally attached to the brothers for sure... bring on the heartbreak for sure!!
the main guy is 6’7 and the girl is barley 5 foot - (like aayet would say) stretcheddd now on to serious things - the ending???? i cant wait for the next book bro? their dad is such a daddy i want him so bad😭🤣🤣
Bratva Prince by T.J. Maguire is a dark, gritty mafia romance about Aleksandr Volkov, a hardened Bratva prince shaped by trauma and family duty, whose rigid control over his life shatters when he unexpectedly meets Drea Ortega, a fierce and unpredictable cartel warrior who changes everything he thought he knew about love, loyalty, and his own heart. Their story unfolds in the violent, unrelenting world of organised crime where danger is constant, trust is scarce, and affection grows in the cracks between brutal conflicts and raw emotions. This is book two in the Bratva series, so it continues plot threads from the first book and deepens the overarching family saga of the Volkov Bratva dynasty.
My emotional reaction to this story was powerful even though the tone is intense and often overwhelming: I was struck by how vividly Aleksandr’s inner turmoil and Drea’s fierce survival instincts were written, making their chemistry feel electrifying and fraught in equal measure. Aleksandr carries guilt and anguish like old scars that shape how he loves and protects those he cares about, and watching Drea challenge his control and stir emotions he has long repressed kept me emotionally invested every step of the way.
Some scenes feel harrowing and unflinching in their violence and tension, and many readers note the romance is passionate but not without complexity and uncomfortable moments, especially given the characters’ backgrounds and the series’ dark nature. The balance between high-stakes action and the slow burn of emotional vulnerability made my heart race and ache, and I found myself thinking about these characters long after I stopped reading.
That said, because the story continues from the first book and feeds into subsequent ones, there were moments where I wished for more closure within this volume itself, even though the overarching plot keeps pulling you deeper into the world.
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars because the intense chemistry, darkly atmospheric worldbuilding, and emotionally charged character arcs delivered a gripping, memorable experience that fans of dark romance and mafia narratives will find compelling, even if some moments feel raw or challenging.
Now, giving you guys a heads up, this series has hea for the couples, but the endings have sorta cliffhanger for the next books. We get some answers from the last book Bravta bride. Aleksandr is the oldest of the family, and we pick up right where it was left off them rescuing their sister and him carrying out Drea. Their first meeting was tensen and lots of fighting. Who is Drea? Why was she handcuffed so many questions, but Alek isn't getting info like he does he's taking it pretty easy on Drea. Now I'll be honest I did skip Alek screwing a girl near Drea and the other prisoners. (She didn't know it was him and it was long thats why i brought down the rating). But I love how Alek and her banter the sexual tension is high but like I said above ow drama causes Drea to push away since she isn't a homewrecker (ow said she was Alek fiance she wasnt). I'm glad Alek set her straight when she wouldn't flirt with him.
Beside that drama, they have other drama like that cousin who set up their sister. And I have to tell you THAT the TORTURE SCENE was good. I do wish we got to see more.
A couple of times in the story, you'll wanna shake your head at Alek and how he's willing to sacrifice his own happiness for his siblings. Like there grown adults Alek, you don't always need to save them. And im glad my boy Lukyan Is telling his brothers he might be fun loving he won't let his brother throw away his happiness for them.
Also, DEAR AUTHOR HOW DARE YOU!! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO THAT PERICOUS GUY!!!
Now things I wanna know!!! Is Lukyan going to get along with his future wife? Wtf happened with Nik and Tit? What could he have done to mess up? Is Gab going to die? Cuz I'll be happy with that.
Ow (the fling who is obessedwith him)/om drama, (he sleeps with someone when he takes her captive after that he doesn't touch anyone),secondary charas, drama, sexy times, no virgins (we see their past flings and ppls)

If you’re looking for a mafia romance with plenty of action and a strong plot that flows seamlessly throughout the series, this is a must-read! Even as you get to the 90% mar there’s even more twists and turns, which makes you want to continue. I can’t wait to dive into book #3, I think that one will be the arranged marriage! Also bad-ass FMC’s!!
• the mmc • too much ow drama. like, way too much. • the fmc steps down as the boss of the MF CARTEL to be with the mmc. now, that just pissed me off big time. because, what? wdym this character who’s supposed to be this badass fmc has to step down from being THE BOSS to be with a man??? nah. that’s just crazy. it’s a shame really. she had literally everything to be a badass fmc. all the ingredients, the potential, everything really. but it felt like the author didn’t quite know what to do with all that potential imo. she was being held captive for way too long. if she had escaped the mmc in the first few days and their paths had crossed afterwards to deal with a common enemy, that would've been SO much better. • i was almost halfway through the book and could count on one hand the amount of times they had scenes together, but we got an in-depth explanation of the mmc sparring with his siblings for idk how many pages. • SUPER insta lust/love. • i was bored. SO BORED!
i probably have more reasons for not liking this book, but… *sighs* this list about sums up the main ones.
i will not be continuing this series 🤺🤺

ok ok ok i liked this one a little bit better than the first, definitely got to see more emotional moments and them getting to know each other but again like the first it was too much insta attraction for my liking you know nothing really bad and still so fun and their banter is even better than the others a little bit more "deadly" just because they're supposed to be enemies so yeah but there's too much insta attraction that i personally don't really like that much but it's still intriguing and spicy and definitely pretty fun also amazing funny moments between the brothers i really like their dynamic ugh it's one of my fave things of these books not gonna lie!! so yeah drea is a little bit more badass than illayana but also kind too and fearless i love her aAND SHE HAS A LOT OF TATTOOS I MEAN YES let's go queen she might be my fave right now ehehe alexandr is also grumpy really really grumpy and possessive like arturo i mean basically all of these men are grumpy and possessive and addicted to their women as they should be eheh im having the best time with the series and also THAT DEATH?? i really wasn't expecting and i cried not gonna lie i let tears fall down they didn't deserve it and they were in such a good way of becoming a fave ugh deserved better and it's affecting obviously aleksandr and im so sad he really created a bond with them without even wanting to sooo ugh it's sad!!! but also AA FINALLY TATIANA AND NIKOLAI LETS GO
Ehh this felt very slow then rushed towards the end with all the action. I will say I loved the dark relationship aspect of the main characters but we could have gotten more romance.
I still hate the writing and that i’m-the-only-one-who-can-calm-him moment was incredibly embarrassing but you know what ? The story was amazing and I loved both characters (also cried at little at the end ‘cause the fuck ? i was not expecting that and it kinda broke my heart)
1.5⭐️ How I hated this as much as I did, I have no clue, especially because i LOVED the first book. This just did not live up to the hype the first book created. I did not care for the two main characters, the insta love was atrocious, and how it came about was wild and gross. The only reason why this is not a flat out 1 star is because there is some of my own personal reasons as to why it’s rated this low. It also put me in a huge reading slump😐
I started reading this book because it was advertised as a badass woman that was the leader of a cartel, and I was just expecting a strong fmc story, but it was one of those stories where we were told she was badass but barely ever saw it.
She spent the entire time kidnapped, and at the end of the book gave up her position as leader to be the queen of HIS empire? No thank you, I regret reading this book

3.5⭐ "I love you so much it hurts. It physically hurts to be without you, to not see you. To not speak to you. To think of you gone. You've managed to burn yourself into my mind, my soul. Branded yourself in my heart. So, now you own it"
It was ok. I liked the characters, but the “betrayal” at the end was basically a copy/paste from book one.
I also hated that she gave up her position to be with him, when there was never any indication throughout the book that she didn’t want that life anymore. So she just gives it all up for her kidnapper? Ok 🙄
The sex scenes really didn’t do it for me either, but that’s just a personal thing I guess. Degradation and being called a fk toy really icks me out personally, but hey, the girl was enjoying herself so more power to you girl! I’m not about to kink shame her, it just really isn’t for me.
I loved that he was able to open up to her and show his softer side 🥹
I think the only reason I’m still going with this series is because of their sibling bond! It’s so cute! Otherwise, this series kinda isn’t doing it for me 😅
