Full disclosure: the author is my older stepson, whom I adore. He is a public speaker and social media influencer; this is his first work in the print medium.

Silva, best known for his motivational videos and his work as a moderator for the National Geographic series Brain Games, has distilled his "philosophical rants" into print. The book reads like the scripts of many of his most memorable video lectures, with the same passion and insight. This gives the reader a chance to see the inner workings of his creative talent in real time.

The book is at times repetitive, with certain motifs recurring unnecessarily. It would benefit from a bit of editing for sure, but even without it the book inspires and educates the reader on the politics of awe and the thrill of flow.

A very nice read, maybe a bit long, but well worth it.
