Francesca ‘Frankie’ Kinkade has a penchant for trouble.
By day, she runs her candle shop. By night, she plays matchmaker for everyone but herself. When a grumpy out-of-towner shows up to sell the inn her sister’s dreamed of buying, Frankie’s ready to scare off the competition—literally.
Chandler Collins doesn’t do feelings. Or small towns. Inheriting the inn was never part of his plan, and selling it should’ve been simple. But one by one, buyers keep backing out…until he realizes someone’s behind it.
Frankie wouldn’t say her plan was a great one, but who wants to buy an inn that’s haunted? No one. When her master class in ghosting leaves her sister as the only buyer left, Frankie is sure the city slicker will take the offer and head back to his skyscrapers. But when Chandler calls her bluff and decides to stay at the inn himself, she matches him step for step.
One week. One inn. One dare neither of them meant to lose.
But under flickering candlelight, sparks fly, and Frankie’s about to learn what happens when you mix business, pleasure… and one very unexpected surprise.
Rebecca Sharp always loved a good love story. Let's face it, when you include a romance novel on your 8th grade summer reading list just to see if the teacher would notice (she didn't!), she was bound to give writing one of her own a go. There's really no corner of romance that she doesn't (or wouldn't) enjoy writing, except maybe aliens, much to her husband's dismay, so her large catalog features a little something for everyone. However, her love of shows like NCIS and Criminal Minds makes her favorite stories to write the ones with some kind of suspense and crime solving.
When she's not writing, she's at her office treating patients, and somewhere between those two things, you'll find her wandering the globe with her husband always searching for their next adventure.

The Candlemaker is book 3 in the Kinkade Series by Dr. Rebecca Sharp
Frankie Kinkade is a candlemaker by trade. She is also a matchmaker, family protector, and troublemaker. So when the man standing in the way of her twin sister's happiness shows up, she takes it upon herself to fix it. What she doesn't expect is the attraction she feels for her enemy or for him to meet her challenges the way he does.
This series is very special to me as book 1, The Woodsman, is what began my love for Dr. Sharp's writing. Although The Lightkeeper is probably my favorite so far. Every book has been equally wonderful and wellwritten. Frankie and Chandler have chemistry from the very beginning, and their banter is great as well. The Kinkade family is fantastic, and Gigi is always fun. I loved the backstory on her candle making and how it played a role in Kits' healing. Overall, it's another fantastic book, and I think it's safe to say we are all excited for Lou to get her HEA now, too, although I will be sad to see this series end.
ARC was provided by Booksprout, and this is my honest review.
Fankie is fiercely independent and will do anything for her twin sister. Including tormenting the legal owner of the inn Frankie’s sister wants. From pretending to be her sister and going on a date with Chandler to staying at the uninhabited inn with Chandler to prove it's haunted. Chandler lives for work and erasing the legacy his father left him. Including getting rid of an inn he inherited. But he wants to get the best deal. He just didn't’ know he would get the deal of his lifetime after spending time with Frankie
I am loving the Kinkade family. They are simply the best family with the way they show up and support each other. Chandler appreciates Frankie’s spirit as well as seeing her soft sides that she hides from the world. My only complaint is that I wish the pregnancy happened earlier in the story, that being said, I am so happy it wasn’t part of the 3rd act either. I loved that Chandler was there and got to experience most of Frankie’s pregnancy. These two characters together really were a perfect match.
Chandler's mom has Alzheimer's (don’t worry that's not a spoiler) and the way she was written and the healing and comfort Chandler was able to find was one of the most beautiful things I have read.
4.25⭐️ So this one is my favorite in the series so far. I have loved Frankie from the start so seeing the “troublemaker” finally get her HEA made me so happy. This story had more of a plot than the others but around the 60% mark it kinda fell off for me. The miscommunication was exhausting and I was just ready for it to be over. It’s just hard to explain the vibes I get from reading these. The town. The family. It just makes me so happy. There are definitely parts I don’t love but all in all this series is so much fun for me and I can’t wait to read more of it!
I just love the Kincades! I love how Rebecca Sharp is able to envelope you right into the story and its inner working. I absolutely loved Frankie’s story with Chandler. Frankie’s scented candles have the capability to draw you to a memory, which was such a beautiful piece of this story. Def enemies to lovers and strong chemistry.
This book is so hilarious, loving, emotional and unexpected! Frankie finding her candlemaker made my heart soar!!
I absolutely loved how this story unfolded! From the time they first locked eyes to the very end Frankie and Chandler had chemistry. The spark of fire that they lit in each other was unexpected for both of them but they are what the other needs!
There were so many hilarious yet loving moments in this story I could help but laugh as tears rolled down my cheeks! This town and family are my faves. I love how they are there for each other even when it involves ghosts!
I really looked forward to this installment in the series. The FMC has such a good personality, the right mix of feisty and empathetic and caregiving to her family. I love the origin story behind why she launched her candle-making business, which elevates this from a typical small town artsy business owner meets city millionaire.
The author does a great job developing side characters.
Why just three stars? Check out my notes page for the highlights from the book.
1. They have unprotected sex literally within a week of meeting each other, and hook up without even a word about STD protection. Nothing. No "I'm clean and trust you, oh stranger I met a week ago" or even a hint of thought about a condom. What is this, 80s romance??
2. The third act breakup is ridiculous and too contrived. It's not believable. As someone who has literally sat at the bedside of a loved one in the ICU for a week, around the damn clock, it just doesn't happen that you forget about the outside world. Actually there is a lot of down time in which to think, remember you have a fuck buddy, text them. Get the fuck out of here lol.
Ahhhh
I wish she had not taken him back. He wasn't a terrible guy, but that shit was not credible. The author had to make some breakup (also why? Why does there have to be a third act breakup? Come on get some original idea going.) and what she came up with was such a contrived plot mechanism that it ruined the entire book for me. Well, that and the "idgaf about STDs" hookup.
Driven real-estate mogul Chandler Collins was determined to sell every property his deceased dad owned and destroy the business he left for slights done to Chandler’s mom. One of those properties, the Lamplight Inn Eloise ‘Lou’ Kinkaide’s been working three jobs to afford. Too bad her offer was accepted and rejected due to a legal snafu. Chandler decides to visit the town and see if he can find out why the property won’t sell for the price he’s asking.
Meanwhile, Chandler sees Francesca 'Frankie' Kinkaide first and likes what he sees but he meets, her twin Lou first, puzzled until Frankie comes in the shop and pushes them both to spend time together. The family reminds Frankie of her prophecy. To my taste, this outing was disappoint and read extremely juvenile with games and deliberate deceit by both leads plus the reminders of identical twins made it at least 300 pages too long!. Rating: 2.25stars
At 61%… I’m tired of how much they say each others names! and I’m not into the burning wax bullśhît/pain during śëx. At 71% .. seriously.. two months later… I dont know if I even want to continue this book… plus I had to skip over the last şêx scene it was so corny with the burning and the “my little flame” ….I sped read/skimmed through the rest of the book, it was just corny which is sad cuz I started off so good I thought
I'm not a fan of third-act breakups. The MCs, Francesca, aka Frankie and Chandler, were only together for over a week but broke up for three months! I like the side characters and the small-town romance. The MCs miscommunication, or lack thereof, was a miss.
This is the 3nd book of the Kinkade family series. If you’ve read the other books in this series, you’ve met Gigi, the fun over-the-top grandmother. While labeling preserves or jams that has been a family staple as a product to sell, occasionally she handwrites a special label for a person. She likes to call them her “premonition preserves” and the label has meaning for the person it’s given to. In the previous book Frankie, the outgoing and meddlesome one of the twins, was given the label reading “Chandler”.
Frankie just stashes it in a drawer of her candle shop. She reasons that “chandler” means “candle-maker” and thinks nothing more about it. Then along comes Chandler Collins. The grumpy billionaire who owns the old inn in town that Frankie’s twin sister, Lou, has been trying to purchase for a while. Lou’s dream is to renovate the inn and run it. We will be seeing more of Lou in the next book.
Chandler just wants to sell the inn to the highest bidder to get it off his hands. There are reasons why he wants it gone. Trouble is that the buyers offer more than what Lou has offered so she has a real possibility of losing the chance to buy the inn. Enter Frankie, the one who fixes and meddles in things. She has created rumors that the inn is haunted and has the whole town supporting her in this. Buyers keep dropping out, to Chandler’s confusion.
Another new buyer is lined up and Chandler comes to town. We get to see how Frankie and Chandler deal with the possible haunting of the inn, all while getting to know each other more as they’re adversaries in seeing who will finally get a chance to buy the inn. Frankie will what she must for family.
I like how their relationship builds. We get to see why Chandler is the way he is. He’s not as heartless as he presents himself. What truly got Frankie into making candles vs the reason usually given. Why she is protective of her twin sister Lou.
What is great is how scent is such an important part of this story. How a scent can bring specific memories to mind, make you think of a particular person or place. Scent is another important character in the story.
Overall I really enjoyed this story. The enemy-to-lovers and especially surprise pregnancy tropes were handled well in a way that is organic and makes sense. Chandler even got a special label from Gigi later in the story. You’ll just have to read this book to see what is said and the meaning behind it.

ps. Reading the blurb about book #4 "The Innkeeper"... I'm hoping that it isn't too "While You Were Sleeping". I don't want Lou to be a Sandra Bullock shadow and to come on strong on her own.
The story goes that Frankie hates that her twin sister's dream of owning the Inn in their town is hindered only because the new owner, a sharp business man wouldn't sell it to her despite her good offer. Frankie and Lou might be twins but Frankie is the one that's always been straightforward and sassy in her approach unlike her sister.
So when she realises that the new owner is in town, Frankie cooks up a strategy to get that inn by making the owner believe that the Inn is haunted.
What she didn't expect was him to be THE Chandler, Gigi had read for her as her future. Especially when she hates this cold man but also didn't expect the unexpected camping at the Inn together with Chandler would start a spark between them that will not stop until it turns into a raging fire.
🅼🆈 🅵🅴🅴🅻🅸🅽🅶🆂 : 🥰
I have read the previous book about Kit and Aurora and was instantly excited for more from this series.
Frankie had me intrigued because of how she carries herself and the way she's upfront about the things and will say it like it is.
I had fun reading about how she does all these fake scenarios of convincing Chandler that the Inn is indeed haunted when he's not even buying her lie. She spreads rumours and lies about performing seances and also becomes ready to stay with Chandler at the Inn and continues to pretend her lies are true.
Her persistence to make her sister's dream come true had me admiring her but especially her business of candle-making was so impressive. Honestly, I think I'm going to go and buy myself a couple of scented candles because I need to after hanging out with Frankie and watching her make her candles and her amazing process of how she works on scents.
Although the pacing I felt was a bit slower in some places but what stood out was definitely the vibes this book made me feel.
From Chandler's complicated current situation and his hurts of the past which dictates most of his actions to Frankie being Frankie, unabashed about what she wants, their burning chemistry but mostly seeing two hard headed people finding their emotional common ground and then seeing them slowly fall for each other, was what didn't let me put down this book.
Frankie's family is amazing, her cousins, her brothers, her twin sister and also her mom but especially her Gigi.
After that unusual reading for Lou at the end, I so can't wait to find out what's in store for her. Loved this one.❤️❤️
Another fantastic story from Rebecca Sharp! Chandler and Frankie’s journey had everything I love in her books: humor, passion, heartfelt moments, and that deep “family comes first” theme that always hits home. I’ve been captivated by Frankie since book one—her energy is contagious! She’s witty, resourceful, and fiercely devoted to her family, and she has a unique talent for crafting candles that stir emotions. In this story, her latest scheme to help her sister, Lou, win the bid for the inn is yet another reason you can’t help but root for her.
Then we meet Chandler, the sharp-minded businessman who seems all business at first but has a soft spot for those he loves, especially his mom. Chandler initially appears like the classic “billionaire bad boy,” but he’s got layers, and his sense of humor and willingness to adapt bring a fresh twist to his dynamic with Frankie. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their banter just crackles with energy—the two of them fit together like the perfect blend of scents in one of Frankie’s candles.
Watching these two match wits and eventually fall for each other is so satisfying. From quirky signs (like Frankie’s jam label hinting at her destiny with Chandler) to the subtle ways they show they care, they quickly became one of my all-time favorite couples.
And of course, the Kinkade family adds that extra warmth, with everyone supporting each other in their own way. They bring humor and heart to the story, making each interaction feel like a warm embrace. I’m already looking forward to Lou’s story to see more of this close-knit family.
Rebecca Sharp has woven another beautiful tale of love, humor, and family that’s as uplifting as it is captivating. The Candlemaker checked all the boxes and then some!.

🔥The flame never touched the wax of a candle, but that didn’t stop it from melting.
📚The Candlemaker (The Kinkades #3) 🖋Author ~ Dr. Rebecca Sharp 🖋Features: An Enemies-to-Lovers, Surprise Pregnancy Romance ⭐️Rating: 5/5
Join the Kinkades in the small beachside town of Friendship, Maine where twins Frankie and Lou scheme to haunt Chandler Collins out of their town, their lives, and the Inn.
Frankie is an expert at hijinks and antics. This time she’ll do whatever it takes to win back the Inn her twin so desperately wants to purchase. Unfortunately, a cruel twist of legal loopholes seems destined to keep Lou from her dreams.
Chandler, however, has his own plans for the Inn. Even if he’s intrigued with Frankie and her failed attempt to impersonate her twin, Chandler is determined to keep his focus on strictly business despite the heat building between him and Frankie.
The Kincades are an amazing family! I love their quirkiness as well as their complexities. Gigi is the grandmother I want to adopt me. I wonder if her Premonition Preserves will help Lou as much as they helped to bring Frankie and Chandler together.
Another amazing Sharp read in the books!! I absolutely loved Chandler and Frankie, especially since I’ve been hooked on Frankie since book 1! This book has humor, steam, grumpy/sunflare (because Frankie is way more than a sunshine lol), sweet tender moments, some tears, hot tamales, and “do anything for family” vibes.
Normally I see the accidental/surprise pregnancy trope and I’m running for the hills, but the way Rebecca writes these are so much more than a “one night stand knock up”. She writes depth and meaning to the situation and how it all goes down is typical independent Frankie at first until a certain charming Chandler has a hold of her heart for good and isn’t willing to let go. They both see a life they never wanted before but wouldn’t be able to love without now.
Chandler wants you to think he’s a billionaire alphahole but he has a super kind heart and would do anything for more moments with Frankie. On the other hand, Frankie wants nothing more than to be the badass “I don’t need a man” boss she is, but her dreams and desires begin to include a certain Chandler for the chandler. These two are hot and their chemistry blends just like the perfect scents to a candle.
I can’t wait to find out more on Lou and her shocking prediction from Gigi!
Thanks for the opportunity to ARC for you again! All thoughts and opinions are my own!
4.5 stars ⭐️ The Candlemaker is the third book in the Kinkade series. Frankie Kinkade will do anything for her family, even convince buyers that the local inn is haunted. She is the ghost, scaring off her sisters’s competition for the property. Chandler Colins’ mother has Alzheimer’s, and her favorite place is the small coastal town of Friendship, Maine. He comes to town not only to spend time with his mother, but to town to find out what is going on only to discover Frankie and her mischievousness are more interesting than finding a buyer. To prove to a potential buyer, Chandler agrees to spend a week at the end, baiting Frankie to do the same. And of course she can’t resist a challenge from the man who scrambles her thoughts with a kiss!
Chandler and Frankie are both coping with paternal abandonment. It has made them both headstrong, independent, and protective over their family members. Frankie’s Gigi is psychic and meddlesome in a way that is fun. Chandler and Frankie are rivals to lovers. The chemistry is great and the plot is fun! The third act conflict may not be for everyone, but I liked it! The Candlemaker is a good small town romance between two hardheaded people who can’t not fall in love with each other, no matter what shenanigans they get up to.
This story was definitely unique and I listened to the audiobook, which came out early!
This is the third book in the Kinkade family series and each one just gets better.Frankie is a candlemaker while her twin sister wants to own the Lamplight Inn and renovate and run this historic inn. Frankie is the in your face, protective daredevil of the pair and she will do anything for her family. The real estate billionaire won’t sell the inn to Lou because he wants to take down his deceased fathers empire and this is a piece he wants no part of.Frankie “haunts” the inn to get rid of interested buyers so the billionaire Chandler comes to friendship to get to the bottom of all the people who backed out of deals. Frankie does everything in her power including agreeing to sleep with Chandler in the inn for a week to prove that it’s haunted and only Lou will buy it. They find they are attracted to each other but he is a grumpy workaholic while she is fun and upbeat. They have both been abandoned by their fathers and have some issues due to this. Chandler knows it’s Frankie haunting the Inn so he sticks to her like glue even working with her in her candle shop.
This is a fun, heartfelt story that is a must read. There are so many heartfelt, heartbreaking moments as well as fun, family moments that make this story a great read.
If you have read the books in the series, you know “Chandler” is going to be important. In book 2, the Lightkeeper, we learn that Lou (Kinkade sibling) wants to purchase an inn. This book opens up with this scenario. Issues arose and Lou’s deal fell through and she is still trying to purchase it. Lou is the twin to Frankie so we see a lot of her throughout. Frankie, owns her own candle shop but is actively trying to help Lou as well, by spreading rumors about the inn..that it’s haunted.
Chandler, the owner of the inn, wants it gone. It is what ties him to his father and he wants nothing to do with it. But something is off, as every deal has fallen through recently. So sensing something is going on, he packs up and heads that way. Fast forward..to prove the inn isn’t haunted, he agrees to stay there and he volunteers Frankie to stay with him.
Although not required, I would probably read in order. There are some details that will flow a bit better if you have all the info. I will say that Frankie got to be a bit much at times. Poor Chandler. But overall, I did like the story and the series. Look forward to Lou.
Francesca "Frankie" Kincade has been the protector of the family, especially her shy twin sister Lou. When the attractive stranger in town turns out to be the real estate shark that stole her sister's dream, Frankie steps in to take him down. She's been "ghosting" the local inn her sister wants to buy to scare away potential buyers. Chandler Collins dares her to stay five nights in the abandoned inn with him to prove if it's haunted or not, but she doesn't realize he's determined to stay by her side day and night to prevent her tricks. The more time they spend together the more they can't fight the attraction, but he's leaving after he sells the inn. Can Frankie settle for a fling or is there a way to convince him to stay? I fell in love with this family in the Woodsman, book 1, then even more in the Lightkeeper which became my favorite book by this author. There was a hint that "Chandler" would be important to Frankie in the last book, but I never expected their banter, their chemistry, the strong part her candles and their scents play in the story. There's still the cozy small town feel to the story that I'm so addicted to. I can't wait to read Lou's story next!
Frankie Kincaid is a force of nature, feisty and champion of her family, and always willing to step in to protect her twin sister, Lou. Her scheme to run off potential buyers of the Lamplight Inn her sister dreams of buying with tales of it being haunted brings the real estate tycoon to town to investigate.
Chandler is determined to sell the property he inherited from his estranged father due his father’s abandonment of him and his mother years ago. When multiple buyers back out of buying a property in a small Maine town he decides to investigate and figure out what is going on.
Chandler and Frankie set off sparks with each other and enjoy squaring off with each other. Chandler is attracted to her confidence and fiery personality. He stays glued to her side as he strongly suspects she is the instigator of the ghost stories. A dare has them camping out in the Inn to prove or disprove whether it’s haunted, brings these two adversaries in close proximity and ignite some intense fires.
I enjoyed the connection between these two, the feisty banter, emotional discussions, and humor.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a fun book. It was pretty lighthearted even though it touched on subjects like Alzheimer’s and parental abandonment.
Frankie Kinkade was a hilarious character. She was the family protector and took it upon herself to be the caretaker of her twin and her older brothers. I loved her haunting scheme and her determination to get the inn for her sister. Her banter with Chandler was great and their instant chemistry was fun to read.
Chandler Collins just wanted to demolish everything his absentee father built. His focus was narrow and he was almost across the finish line. But his time in Friendship with Frankie and her family showed him some things he was missing out on. I liked reading his struggle and seeing him come to terms with changing his path.
Chandler and Frankie had a lot of parallels in their lives. They both had abandonment issues stemming from their fathers. They both were focused on their self made businesses. And they both loved their families. They fought their chemistry, but when they finally came together, it was epic.
This story makes me feel soft, gentle, tears! Frankie will do anything for Lou her twin sister and she wants the Inn but she is shy but not Frankie, things aren't moving fast enough,so she gives a gentle push, let's bring out the ghosts and get rid of the seller who is Chandler. But he can't be fooled even after Frankie switches places with Lou so it's Frankie having dinner with Chandler! (Lou got chicken and couldn't keep the dinner date with Chandler and she knew how much Lou wanted the Inn,so she took her place, since they are twins!) But Frankie doesn't realize that Chandler caught on to the switch. The gentle part of this story is where Chandler goes to see his mother, who recognize him at first but soon goes back the past,he goes thru so much pain, but he doesn't give up hope! Also where Tom is there for Chandler 's mom, thru the good times and the bad, because he really loves her and cares for Chandler too. There is still alot to this story that I'm not giving away,so you will have to read it and enjoy it has much has I did!Frankie really puts Chandler thru his paces but he fights for his little flame.Enjoy I did.
The Candlemaker is the 3rd in the fabulous The Kinkades series. Frankie and Chandler's story is bittersweet and tugged on my heartstrings so hard it brought tears to my eyes. More than a romance, this is also a story of love between siblings and the love between two mothers and their children. The wonderfully strong and self-assured Frankie fights tooth and nail to secure her sister's dream, yet can't escape the attraction drawing her to Chandler. A businessman hiding lingering pain behind a tough and ruthless facade, he in turn struggles to come to terms with losing the mother he knows and loves to a mental illness. Falling for Frankie and her hometown of Friendship is not in his plans, but in his cards and I loved how their unconventional courtship unfolded. A hint: There are more ways than one to enjoy a candle ... The very emotional happy ending is hard-earned and well-deserved. A definited keeper, I can't recommend this book highly enough!.

The Candlemaker is an enemies-to-lovers, surprise pregnancy romance which I thought to be quite suspenseful and most definitely a page-turner. This author has created another marvelous romance book. The Candlemaker has a remarkable plot, sensational characters, and the outcome for the main characters is absolutely breathtaking. Author Dr. Rebecca Sharp in my opinion is a phenomenal storyteller and a remarkable writer who puts everything into the books she creates for her readers. While reading The Candlemaker, I realized that I didn’t want to set the book down for long periods of time because I found the plot to be that captivating for me as a reader. The Candlemaker is certainly a book which I would give as a recommendation for anyone looking for an entertaining book to read. I’m looking forward to seeing what else this author will create for her next book.

This is a really great read. I listened to the audiobook (which is beautiful done by the narrators) and read this book straight through. I could not put it down. Frankie will do anything for her family and when the owner of the inn her twin wants to buy comes to town to find out why his property isn’t selling she agrees to spend a week with the owner, Chandler, in the inn to debunk the rumor the inn is haunted (that Frankie started). Chandler is also dealing with his mother who has dementia and is living in an assisted living home near the inn. This book hit close to home with me. My mother didn’t know me the last two to three years of her life. Dementia is a cruel disease and this author described the emotional turmoil of a child so accurately. I laughed, cried and fanned myself (steamy scenes) throughout this one and think it’s definitely a one click book.
What a great story! Frankie had been the protector for her family for years. When Chandler comes to town to find out why the sales on the inn keep falling through, he didn’t expect to find out it was haunted. Frankie and the others in town wanted the inn to belong to her sister, but chandler was just wanting to get rid of the one thing that still tied him to his father. I loved how she showed him the town and how important it was for the inn to be restored. Chandler had struggles too with his mom having Alzheimer’s. Her good days seemed few and far between. Frankie was key to helping him with his mom and showing him her support. Little by little, he realizes that she’s his flame! Can’t wait to read Lou’s book next!.

The kinkade family story continues with the candle maker. This book is full of all the spice, small town vibes, a grandmother who has a gift of predicting the future and a billionaire who thinks he knows what he need to do to be happy. That is until he meets Frankie and his definition of happiness changes.
Frankie is the outgoing twin, always pulling her siblings into her schemes. This time she’s trying to save the historical small town inn that her sister(Lou) so desperately wants. How? By haunting the Inn and driving all prospective buyers out of town.
Chandler is the billionaire real estate tycoon who is the current owner and unwilling to take Lou’s low offer. He has a plan to sell the inn to the highest bidder. That is until he visits the small town to find out why buyers keep pulling out of sales.

If you’ve been following the series this nine is Frankie’s story. Here Frankie is fleshed out to be the achiever to help her siblings especially her sister. I found it inspiring as to why she became a candlemaker, but also the work that she does to help her sister achieve her dream. In the story Gigi’s word premonitions are related to Frankie’s alternate candlemaker name of Chandler, but everyone is on target when Chandler arrives in town. Chandler is the Ricard Gere type character in Pretty Woman who Carrie’s baggage from his youth and is reminded about it as he deals with his mother’s dementia. As the story progresses Frankie and Chandler have tons of tension as the work to prove each other wrong to get her sister the hotel. Chandler and Frankie ultimately end up with connecting and getting thei happily ever after.
