For eleven years, the Bah Humbug Butcher has terrorized the town—impaling girls on candy canes, strangling them with twinkle lights, and even crushing them beneath Christmas trees.
This year, Sheriff Eva Christian has one last chance to stop him.
Guided by the ghost of her father and the spirits of Victims Past, Present, and Future, Eva must relive each gruesome murder—one terrifying vision at a time. What she finds isn’t just blood and bodies… but the clues that could finally unmask the Butcher.
Grim, gory, and darkly hilarious, Bah Hum-Blood! is a twisted take on Charles Dickens’s holiday classic.

So creative and so much fun! I love supernatural elements in a story, and this did it perfectly. I could visualize everything, it literally played out as a horror comedy Christmas movie right before my eyes. It would be so dope for this to be turned into one! Great writing and fun dialogue.
It’s not getting top score because of two things: One is that it felt like two books in one. The beginning was very A Christmas Carol, and then the rest was a «regular» thriller. I absolutely adored the beginning, and would’ve loved for the ghost part to go on for a little longer. But both parts were really good, so I’m not complaining honestly! Reread value for next year definitely.
The second reason is that the murderer’s identity was a little too obvious. But this is a short book with not that many characters, so I can’t be too picky.
Still! An amazing short read. For someone who’s not that into Christmas, I’m happy I can find stories like this that makes the holiday fun for a horror junkie like me!
Sharply written genre mashup that’s paced perfectly for a cold night by the fire with a cup of cocoa. Heavy on laughs and outrageous violence— you’re guaranteed to have a good time with this riff on a classic. Josh has found an underserved corner of genre fiction that he’s made all his own and I can’t wait for more like it. Read it!
I picked this up on whim to get in some Christmas time campy horror and it was a lot more fun than I was expecting! basically a bloody, cop-hunting-a-serial-killer version of A Christmas Carol with some dark humor thrown in amongst the gore
A spectacular holiday horror/comedy. This one is really hard to lay down. Really keep me guessing all through the read. Yes, it does get sort of gory but it was worth it. A definite must read. A+++++
Bloody, violent, and the ending wasn't so obvious the whole book was ruined. Serial killer that only one person calls a serial killer. The reason behind why no one admits it is surprising and the ending is satisfying.
WHAT did I just read? Found on a free site, OMG. Great premise, quite gory, and funny at the same time, lost a star cuz it could easily have been a shorter read.
