The Engagement of Marielle Clarac (Manga) Volume 9

The Tales of Marielle Clarac (Manga) #9

by Haruka Momo, Alaskapan (Contributor), Philip Reuben (Translator)

Duke Silvestre’s game has begun, and it won’t end until he’s satisfied! With only one day left until the wedding, Marielle and Simeon, along with Nigel and Lutin, must complete a sadistic series of challenges to earn their freedom. Cunning disguises, devious riddles, a dinner of drunken regret, and even a cage match in a labyrinthine fun house—the duke’s game seems tailor-made to pull Marielle and Simeon apart. To thwart the duke, Marielle must unravel his Machiavellian plot and use her fangirl instincts to protect the man she loves. Wedding bells are ringing in the distance, but will Marielle and Simeon make it to the altar in time to say “I do”?

I can't believe I re-found this manga series right as the last volume came out! I didn't even realise it had just come out until coming here to mark it as "read".

So happy everyone had a cute conclusion after all these years. Only thing is I wish to be able to read more about all the side characters that got involved in the story. The little 4koma comics that I loved finding at the end of each volume wasn't in this one but I guess it's to leave it to your imagination (or to read the light novel).

I guess I'm off to read the light novel 🤗
