If you haven’t read Run, Rabbit yet, I don’t know what to tell you. Clearly, you’re out here making questionable life choices 😭
I don’t hand out 5 star ratings lightly. In fact, I can’t remember ever giving an entire duet or series a full 5 stars… until now.

GO. READ. IT.
(me, aggressively yelling at anyone who hasn’t finished the first book yet 💀)

Loved this book. Love Eleanor's writing. She gets you hooked from page 1. Loved this duet. Teddy and Corey are definitely top favourites. On the edge of my seat for this one, read it so quickly. Definitely recommend to read this duet. Can't wait to read more from Eleanor

This is the second book of the Scarred Silence duet and i was lucky enough to recieve an arc from my lovely friend Eleanor 🫶

The book contiunes straight on from book 1 and it had me attached from the first page. I think i read this in under 12 hours. 🤭😂

It flowed really well, it was fast paced (but not too fast it gets overwhelming), it was full of action from the start i just couldn't put it down. The story follows Briar, Teddy and Corey navigate the next turn of events and let me tell you, ITS A LOT 🫣 I don't want to give to much away but the story evolves even more and they have to tackle a lot following from book 1.

Let's talk characters. Corey is my favourite. He is one of the mmcs. He is mute and the whole persona around him is perfect. He is so misunderstood, just wants to be loved and constantly feeling like he's competing with other people, when all he really cares about is Briar and keeping her safe. I think his character devlopment from the start to the end was really lovely to read - I went through all the emotions with him. I felt angry for him, sad for him and also so happy. He is the character i felt for the most due to his past and also because he does sometimes come across like he doesn't always think or care but deep down he always does. He is the one who is always thinking and caring, even if he doesn't always show it.

Teddy is Teddy. A complete fluffy teddy bear. I was obsessed with him in book 1 (also i am in book 2 but Corey is a strong favourite). Without giving to much away, it was lovely to read how Teddy really comes through towards the end of the book. I love the dynamic between Teddy & Corey. Teddy is always the one who will be there for Corey no matter what and even if he knows Corey has done wrong but it's a really lovely relationship between the 2 of them.

Briar has been through so much. Her character is a really loveable, relatable one. She has carried things from her past and now her past is catching up with her but was lucky to have Teddy and Corey having her back. I love that dispite everything, she was still there for Corey (mostly) and did understand what he needs and feels the most. Although there was once i was screaming into the book and telling her off, i still loved her 🫶

Overall, the story was perfect. I was literally hooked fron the start. I was sat on the edge of my seat for the majority of the book. It made me feel all the emotions and honestly it was just such a fun read. Anything Eleanor writes, i will read. Don't think she has done one bad book yet. I love her writting style and i cannot wait to see what more she does. 🫶

I'd do anything for her - I've killed for her for fuck's sake. I'd sell the rest of my soul if it made her smile. Twist myself into whatever demon she needs - the blade, the shield, the silence. I'd burn the world if it meant she never had to strike a match.
She's the only light I've ever known - Corey

I devoured this in one sitting!!! 🤩

Another book with twins 😏 and yes… I'm obsessed 😍

Hop into Book 1, Run, Rabbit, first. Then dive into this one to get the full wild ride! 💥

When a single book checks off all your guilty pleasure tropes, resistance is futile 😈 Prepare to swoon and.... squirm 🤪

Corey and Teddy are just two halves of the same dangerous obsession. The kind that makes your pulse spike and your thoughts spin 🫦 And Briar is trapped with these two men, something so forbidden, so dangerous, yet impossible to resist. No matter how far she runs, she always finds herself drawn back to them 🖤

Secrets starts to unravel, questions answered and desire tearing through everyone's sanity, leaving nothing but craving and chaos 🔥

A 5☆ read. If you find Corey insanely hot and makes you weak in the knees when he’s telling you 'mine. Always' in sign language, welcome aboard... We're both on the same dreamy boat straight to heaven 🤤☺️

⚠️ Dark. Check those trigger warnings. Your mental health matters 🌼

This duet has been amazing!
If you haven't read any of Eleanor Crowe's book yet, you are honestly missing out... she's such a great author and severely underrated.

We meet twins Corey and Teddy in book 1 (Run, Rabbit). They've always had a chemistry with their step sister Briar but when she breaks up with her abusive boyfriend, nothing else is standing in their way. The twins are very different, Teddy is sociable and charming. Corey, unable to speak is more withdrawn and brutal.

In this book 2, we start to see the aftermath of their relationship and fall out of some of the things that happened in book 1. Corey pushes himself further and further away from Briar and Teddy, never feeling good enough and constantly hitting the self destruct button.
Book 2 was genuinely heartbreaking. Whilst this duet hits all my favourite tropes of twins and step siblings, it is built on so much more.

There is so much plot, twists, the characters are rounded so completely that I felt like I was living through everything with them. I love how this book was a massive dose of reality in how a their relationship would work, in dealing with jealousy and trauma.

I can't say enough good things about this duet and I loved book 2 even more than book 1. Full of plot, forbidden relationships, trauma, secrets, heartbreak, grief and then rebuilding. A brilliant duet ❤️.

- Touch her and ☠️
- One mute MMC
- Dark Taboo romance (step siblings)
- Why choose
- Spice

I hope you’re all ready for the return of the Pritchard twins because they’re back and it’s darker and better than ever!😈

This is the second book in the duet and our Corey is going to worlds end to protect FMC Briar - possessive and gives off the vibes he will burn the world to protect her and won’t let anything happen to her, even if it meant destroying himself to ensure she’s safe! It picks up right where Run, Rabbit finished and it’s full of suspense, plot and spice!🌶️

@Eleanor Crowe | Author has such a creative way of making you fall for the MMCs in all the books she’s wrote..Teddy and his charm you can’t help but fall for, Corey his unhinged possessive ways but for the right reasons! Teddy is the calm and Corey is the storm for Briar but you couldn’t live without either, it’s all about balance right?😉

I would highly recommend reading this duet, Run Rabbit is available right now and you will need to read this first and Mine Always is available for pre order and is out 15/09!🖤

This one had me going through all the emotions! Happy, relieved, sad, tortured, betrayed, desperation, tortured again, relieved once more, devastation, processing, acceptance, happy!!! hahaha.

I spiralled alongside Corey! I felt it all. And so did the author with rage notes I have been sending! haha

Fucking loved every part of this story and how the author brought it all together and wrapped it up. I love how we got a realistic consequence to some of the actions in the book, because yeah... real life sucks and a part of what happened to Corey sucked fucking bad, but we can't have it all and it truly was a joy to read — going through that pain with Corey just made the ending so much more sweeter.

Can't forget my boy Teddy, doing what he does best to keep it all and everyone together. He's like pinch-your-cheeks adorable! A stark contrast to Corey but it just works.

This author has become my go-to/ auto-read author and now I'm devouring her entire backlog!

I read this straight off the back of 'Run, Rabbit', which I'm really glad for because if there is one thing I hate, it is a cliffhanger and having to wait for the next book....no matter how good they are!
I loved it, just like I have enjoyed all the other books from this author that I have read. Mine, Always was really well thought out and well delivered. I adored Briar, Teddy, and Corey's relationship....and the spice....phew was that hot!
I would definitely recommend checking out the trigger warnings before diving in, but if thats your jam, I more than recommend both of the books in this duet.

I guess it ended good? Listen idk how I feel about this book the MMC SA’d the FMC twice and I just wasn’t vibing with it. Like I get it he’s been through a lot but cmon.

The plot also doesn’t make much sense? Like why is there so much drama from her ex? Why was he so obsessed with her I don’t get it. Even the mum getting involved like what are they in the mafia? She DID end up with both brothers which also confused me because at the end of the last book he said he won’t share and now he’s fine.

The parents? I still don’t get why the mum hated Corey so much.

So funny but when he called her a silly cow randomly tho

I pre-ordered this as soon as I finished ‘Run, Rabbit’ because I loved it so much. Eleanor, YES, this book completely broke me and then put me back together again. THANK YOU!!

Teddy and Corey just wow! Their story was dark, addictive, emotional and so beautifully written. I love the way Eleanor writes—it’s so addictive and makes reading so enjoyable!

This duet is an easy 5 stars from me and a new favourite I’ll be thinking about for a long time. I cannot wait to read more from Eleanor!

If you love Dark Romance/Taboo Romances, you must read these two books, they will not disappoint!

Another fantastic book from Eleanor, honestly she has fast become one of my top authors and its an absolute honour to be able to read her work before its out.
This is the sequel to Run, Rabbit and it is everything it should be. It got a little tense where i thought i was going to spend the rest of my day sobbing but i was happy that it wasn't the case. Keep this on your list and be ready for when it comes out!

After finding Run, Rabbit (book 1 of the duet) on a booktok recs video, blowing through it within 24 hours & LOVING IT, I immediately signed up for the ARC of Mine, Always.
I could not put it down! The story, the characters, the emotions I felt while reading, the whole experience was a 5 star experience for me!
And Mine, Always was the perfect conclusion to this story!
I definitely suggest checking this duet out if you enjoy dark/taboo romances!

I have just finished reading was lucky enough to receive an ARC.
I absolutely loved it again written brilliantly from start to finish!
with all Eleanor's books, it kept me glued to it from the start.

Will always have a soft spot for Corey, but I love Teddy too and the relationship between Corey Teddy and Briar.

If you love dark taboo books this Is for you, but you will need to read run rabbit first 🙂

highly recommend and definitely 5 stars.

This one kept me on the edge of my seat, I swear I've never panicked as much in my life at the majority of this book.

This is EVERYTHING I want in a dark taboo step-sibling romance and then some. Eleanor Crowe really said, “let’s ruin your sleep schedule,” and I happily allowed it.

This isn’t some light, flirty forbidden romance .. this is obsessive, messy, emotionally intense, and completely addictive. It definitely had me questioning my morals all at once.

I devoured it… and I’d do it again.

I enjoyed how this book ended, and it was a really good book that had me feeling all the feels. I was so enraged on behalf of the FMC at times and it really got my blood pumping lol
