Super cute! I love seeing David/Katsuya in their sweet and tender moments and yesss! Finally some sexy times and they were hot! I’m pretty sure David did not mind being hurt at all. Gave it 3 stars only because it was so short other than that loved these two. ❤️

These prequels are so absolutly different to ITW and the other stories by Kichiku Neko. (Read: no mind-fuck)

I loved the intimacy between Katsu and David. You could feel, see and almost touch the love between them.

Even if David is wounded and lies in bed with stiches, they can't keep their hands of each other.

And finally the hot on-page sex is back!

Only on complain - it's too short! *big smile*

David has been injured, and has been sent home with stitches and orders to take it easy. Since he is on painkillers, his partner asks Katsu to stay with David and make sure he takes them…

Even though David is not supposed to do anything too strenuous, he can’t keep his hands off Katsu, and there is some seriously hot sex happening. They are both so desperate for sex, since they have not been together „physically“ for a while, that a bit soreness is of no concern:
“To taste him….To breath him…Pain is nothing“ -at the same time as David penetrates Katsu's poor a**hole rather roughly, while also having his stitches go up. Now, that is romance!

Mah, to be wedged between the two of them…well, a girl can dream, can’t she?

Like in NYM, there is so much humor in this, it feels miles away from ITW. There is consensual sex! Great consensual sex! And David just keeps growing in my eyes;-)
There are also some really sweet moments, when we see David and Katsu at work, touching each other discreetly when passing in the corridor, or in the end, back at the hospital and a grumpy doctor…

This was cute, sweet, funny, and hot - an all around win! It lacked the mindfuckery I've come to expect from GuiltPleasure, but it was a nice surprise and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's better if you've read New York Minute to get the history between these guys, but it's not necessary. Only downside is that it was much too short!

The fourth book in the prequel series for In These Words was a spicy and fun short manga. We find Detective Krause injured on the line of duty and Dr. Asano Katsuya there to make sure he recovers in many ways. As long as Dr. Krause "First Do No Harm". I recommend reading the prequels in order to understand the background between Detective David Krause and Dr. Asano Katsuya.

Another re-read that I'm doing from Guilt Pleasure. This time, though, I'm bumping the 3-star to a 4-star. After reading the "free talk" section, this story hits a little home since this is from a real experience from another cop's story. David is becoming an interest of mine.
