Being an adult, I'm not the target audience, but I still found this book very entertaining and learned a heap of stuff. My brain is now full to overloaded! Kai and her mother are very endearing characters and I'm sure children will love and relate to them.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone with kids or who know a student that is interested in Australian animals and wildlife conservation. It was really cool to follow Kai's journey and read about real-life Queensland locations, plus learn quirky facts about different animal species.
