Named after King Arthur’s knights, each must marry by thirty-five or lose it all, including the one thing that money can't buy—love.
A cynical billionaire. A runaway wife. And a secret child. Now they’re both mine—whether she likes it or not.
Four years ago, I married Madison for my inheritance. And for five nights, I had her every way I wanted. Then she disappeared—leaving only a note. One goodbye.
Now I need my wife to claim what’s mine. She’s been hiding my daughter from me. A mini version of her—with my eyes.
Chandler’s perfect. Smart, fierce. Just like her mother. And Madison would burn the world to protect her.
That little girl has a place in my world—and so does my wife.
Madison looks at me like I’m the villain. Maybe I am. But that doesn’t stop me from wanting her back in my bed. And in my life—for good.
I don’t believe in love. Never did. I married Madison because I wanted her. And I still do.
This isn’t about love. It’s about possession.
She ran once. But this time, she’s not getting away. Because Madison’s always been mine.
I’ve been enjoying this series, so was looking forward to the latest instalment. However, I didn’t like the sound of Palomedes - he sounded entitled & arrogant in the way he thought it acceptable to insist that his wife Madison, & daughter who he’d never met, should leave their Iowa home for his home in Florida. It was only fair that I should give Palomedes a chance, & I am so glad I did. He was a far more complex character than first appeared. Unfortunately he doesn’t believe in love, which causes him a problem with the marriage stipulation in his grandfather’s will. Madison on the other hand loves romance books & believes happily ever after can happen in real life. Their whirlwind romance was everything she’d dreamed of, but she was deeply hurt on hearing about the will & left him after only 6 days of marriage. Four years later, with the deadline looming, Palomedes has to find Madison. Surprised & angry to discover that he has a daughter, he certainly wasn’t expecting to fall in love with three year old Chandler. She’s a delightful sunny character, and is the perfect foil to the intensity around her as her parents start over, trying to figure out their relationship.
I loved the characters of Palomedes & Madison & the way their relationship developed as they cared for their daughter, surrounded by his family, & slowly, nervously, got to know each other again. There’s still an explosive chemistry between them, but there’s too much at stake & Madison is determined not to get hurt again. His work threatened to come between them, but I loved the way that Madison took an interest in his work & that he responded so positively to that.
It is a gorgeous story of second chances, of forgiveness & redemption. As I got to know them, I came to really like Palomedes & Madison, & the relationship they built based on love, friendship & trust. A minor niggle, I’d love to have known more of Madison’s back story; we get a little, but there must be more to tell! At the beginning of the story Palomedes was emotionally immature, but he grew up rapidly, eventually willing to take risks with his heart, realising that love isn’t always perfect. Palo & Madison both deserved a second chance, & gorgeous Chandler deserved to have her parents back together, especially as she’d played a big part in reuniting them.

A brilliantly written story, with great characters, wonderful chemistry, second chance romance, family drama, intrigue, a lovely sweet 3-year-old, twists and a lovely HEA. Another great story by Kelly Thomas (the 3rd in this series) and I couldn't put it down, would strongly recommend & can't wait for the next Knight brother's story.
While in Vegas Palomedes had married Madison after a short romance but when she discovered it was to meet an inheritance clause she ran. When he goes to present the marriage certificate four years later, he's told he also needs to present her. Hiring a PI (Jaxson, Falling Too Hard and the "The Knights of Jacksonville Series") he finds her but also their daughter and sets out to bring his family home.
But bringing Madison and Chandler back to Jacksonville, to his mother's delight (her 1st grandaugher), and into his home doesn't restore the trust she lost with him. Madison believed in fairytales until she had realised that Palo didn't believe in love; but the more time he spends with his wife and daughter, the more he's starting to wonder if he might.
Can he prove to her that he's always wanted her in his life, and now he wants his daughter too; he doesn't ever want to lose them again. Madison and Palomedes have a wonderful spark between them, and Chandler is so sweet and loving you can't help liking her too.

Four years ago, Madison and Palomedes met in Vegas. After a whirlwind romance, they got married. Madison believed she had found her Happily Ever After—until she discovered that Palomedes was under pressure from an inheritance clause: he had to marry by his 35th birthday. When she asked him if he loved her, he couldn’t answer. Heartbroken, she left, leaving behind only a note.
As Palomedes’ 35th birthday approaches, he drops his marriage license on his attorney’s desk, thinking he’s fulfilled the terms of the will—only to learn he must present his wife to the Board of Directors. Desperate, he hires an investigator to find her.
This is a story that begins with misunderstanding, lack of trust, and the inability to say "I love you." But it evolves into a tender, touching tale of two people deeply in love—one of whom just didn’t know how to express it. Many moments brought me to tears. And don’t worry—there are plenty of spicy scenes to keep things interesting!
This is the third book in a series that just keeps getting better. Take a few hours and immerse yourself in this emotional journey—you’ll be glad you did.

Palomedes - A Knight’s Redemption tells the third Knight brothers story and finds its MMC in a difficult situation. Palomedes’ thirty-fifth birthday is three months away and he has just found out the marriage certificate he has won’t be enough proof to the company board. He has to present his wife in person for official verification or lose his Knight restaurant empire. Four years ago he’d married Madison Clark who had left him on day six after discovering the real reason he had married her, for his inheritance. Now the search is on to locate her and when he does becomes the substance of a well written story that has drama, surprises, intrigue, passion, well crafted characters, family dynamics, and for Palo learning to believe in love. Enjoyed this highly entertaining read!.

I went into this open minded but expecting a cheesy King Arthur fairytale modern retelling. There is mentions of it with all of Palomedes' family history but there is also enough depth that it isn't cheesy.
I enjoyed the storyline and the writing is really good. There is character development and truth behind the journey Palo must take in order to "mend what he broke" between them.
From the start I believed it, what Madison lived through in deciding to leave and then be a single mother. Her hurt that Palomedes hadn't loved her and let her go.
They have to work through the hurt and there is definitely redemption for Palomedes Knight and how hard he works to get his family back.

A second chance at love between two characters that have different views on love. Palomedes never believed in love, was sceptical of it but four years ago he felt an attraction for Madison and after a whirlwind romance they marry. Madison believes in love, married for love but after overhearing his reasons for their marriage she leaves. Four years on Palo needs to find his wife he needs her help but when he finds her she’s not alone. Will his views on love change or is his fortune more important? Can they be a family? A really good read with twists, forgiveness, family values and second chances.
-A powerful second-chance romance filled with heartbreak, redemption, and unexpected joy. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Palomedes starts as arrogant and emotionally closed off, but fatherhood and love reshape him. Madison, wounded but strong, protects her heart while slowly rediscovering trust. With little Chandler’s sunshine and plenty of heat, this is a tender, emotional story of forgiveness.
A wonderful ending which included reference to a romance novel inside a romance novel. Fun!
The story of Palomedes and Madison is one of longing for power, family, love, and all those things they did not know they wanted. The story is nicely written and it flows so naturally that it is so hard to put to down. The MCs show how working parents wrestle with the daily routines trying to make family a priority, something Palomedes never cared for until he finds all he has been yearning for is not billions, but the love is his new found family.

This is Book 3 in The Knight Legacy Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is a second chance romance between estranged couple, Palomedes and Madison. These flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. Once they reconnect, it is a bumpy ride with drama and steam, forgiveness and redemption, sexual tension and chemistry, family dynamic, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. Seriously entertaining.

This is the third romance book in the Knight Legacy series and Palomedes might have just become my favorite as well as Madison. It is really hard to choose because all of these books have been 5 star reads. This book has some hot romance between some intense and amazing characters. This is a must-read book, and it will have you falling head over heels in love with the storyline as well as Palomedes. Don't forget to read Kelly's first two books in this series as well.
I loved this book. It was filled with attraction, steam and love. A MMC who did not know what true love felt like and a FMC who ran from him only to come home again. This is an awesome second chance love story totally worth the read. I highly recommend this book to all second chance romance readers.

A well-written tale filled with fears, dreams, suspense and an uncertain future. The characters were engaging and held my heart. I cared what happened to them. That what matters and is a sign of a great story.
