I want to thank the author for sending me three eARC’s from the Celestial Whispers series. I have truly never read anything like it, which says a lot because I almost exclusively read romantasy. It was a breath of fresh air. Thank the stars for that.

Secrets & Stardust - 4/5 - This book had me hanging on by a thread. I was immediately immersed in the unique plot unfolding before me. It is written from multiple perspectives. I am not going to lie, I was a little nervous, but the author did a phenomenal job incorporating everyone’s perspectives equally. I did not have any issues with the pacing of this book. This book had the perfect balance of romance and plot. I fear I was immediately captivated by Altair. I wanted to be his Astalle. I was also thoroughly impressed with the author’s writing; there were little to no repetitive words, and I could visualize what was happening at all times. This book left me wanting more.

Deceit & Darkness - 3/5 - This book did not quite hold my attention. The author definitely struggled with pacing. Some aspects of the story felt rushed while others dragged on for what felt like forever. There was an imbalance between romance and plot. The author definitely homed in on several characters' romantic storylines. While I don’t mind that, I found that the number of intimate scenes was a bit excessive and the timing sometimes felt inappropriate - especially after a certain character’s death. I wish the author would have spent an equal amount of time building up the conclusion. Iyana was also frustrating me in this book. She repeatedly kept making the same mistakes. I wasn't really buying her all-consuming love for Emmeric. Her interactions with Altair felt less forced and more natural. Despite the disconnect, I still enjoyed reading it. I loved the LGBTQ representation in this book.

Between Stars & Salvation - 3/5 - This is a prequel. Some readers may argue that they should read it before Secrets & Stardust, but I strongly disagree. The prequel should be read last due to the sheer number of spoilers. It was a fun read, but it felt repetitive and definitely lacked the ‘wow’ factor after already knowing how the story mostly plays out from reading the first two books.

Overall, I would highly recommend this series.

Emmeric Had My Heart From the Beginning

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of the Celestial Whispers Complete Series, and I really enjoyed being able to binge the entire story from start to finish.

The world Jeannin Counts created immediately pulled me in. The concept of the stars taking human form immediately caught my attention, and the unique magic system made this world feel unlike anything I'd read before. I couldn't wait to uncover more with each book.

One thing I struggled with was how quickly Iyana trusted Altair. It happened so fast that I never completely believed it, and honestly, I never fully trusted him either. The love triangle between Iyana, Altair, and Emmeric definitely kept me invested, especially because I found myself rooting for Emmeric from the very beginning.

Emmeric had my heart from page one. There were so many moments where I found myself frustrated with the way Iyana treated him because I couldn't help but feel he deserved so much better.

I also loved the lovers-to-enemies dynamic. It's such a refreshing change from the usual enemies-to-lovers trope, and I really enjoyed seeing that relationship evolve throughout the series.

I was also really happy to see Zane and Talon find each other. Their journey was rewarding to watch, and I loved where their story ended. And Kaz was hilarious! As a shapeshifter, she brought so much humor and personality to the series that she quickly became one of my favorite characters.

The multiple POVs were easy to follow, and I enjoyed experiencing the story from different perspectives. While the pacing slowed a little for me during parts of the second book, I was still invested in the characters and wanted to see how everything would come together. The prequel was also a great addition that added even more depth to the world and its history.

Overall, this was a creative fantasy series with memorable characters, a unique magic system, adventure, romance, and plenty of twists. I really enjoyed spending time in this world, and I'll definitely be looking forward to reading more from Jeannin Counts in the future.

I received an advanced copy of this series and am leaving my honest review voluntarily.

I had this sitting on my Kindle forever but never got around to reading it before. Then I applied for the series omnibus ARC and finally got the chance to pick it up.

Now, about Book 1… it had a really interesting premise. I liked the FMC, but she was way too quick to trust Altair. Like, do they ever learn?

Next, I absolutely loved Emmeric. I knew from his name alone that he was going to be the one lmao.

The other characters and the overall plot were well done too. I can’t say I was particularly surprised by the ending, but it was still an enjoyable read overall.

Coming to Book 2... well, the series’ namesake definitely delivered. It was interesting, but honestly felt a bit too long for me. Certain events started to feel repetitive, especially because Iyana seemed to keep making the same mistakes and never fully learned her lesson about some things.

Poor Altair though… he really didn’t deserve that ending. I loved Zane and Talon. And coming to Emmeric... despite how much I love him, his nickname for her is honestly ridiculous. The story wrapped up well overall, even though I felt like the spice was a bit much for me.

Also, I don’t know what’s happening with the books I’ve been reading lately, but every epilogue seems to end with either a baby or a pregnancy announcement. Can we not just have a happy ending with the couple being happy together? Why does there always have to be a kid involved?

About the prequel novella, I might have actually loved Les and Theo’s story even more than the main one. I mean, Iyana genuinely couldn’t have done it without them setting the example first. A short and easy read, but definitely an enjoyable one.

Thank you to the author for a review copy of the omnibus of Celestial Whispers duology and prequel in exchange for a voluntary review. I love finding completed fantasy series to read. This was the complete duology and prequel in one. The first book Secrets and Stardust was my favorite but the conclusion was still an amazing read. The Celestial Whispers series is completely unique to the fantasy genre right now. Instead of the copy paste shadows and darkness, this one is about stars and light. I highly recommend the series. I enjoyed the world building, amazing characters and the tension. The pacing was on point for most of the book. It was a little slow in some parts but not enough to deter the reader from continuing. There’s a love triangle between the main characters Iyana, Altair and Emmeric. Love triangles kill me. I tend to avoid reading them unless I’m in the mood for drama. This one ended in a satisfying way for me. I highly recommend for those that enjoy multi-pov, found family, spice, great character development, kickass side characters, and love triangles. Also you have to love completed series. I have no patience when it comes to waiting and this omnibus was perfect. I love when authors bundle books.

I was so excited to get this omnibus. While I don't mind for the second and third books too come out usually, i loved that i could just binge this in it's entirety.
This was a fantastic collection of stories. A young healer searching for help as her village burns, turns to the stars. Right from the beginning that pulled me in. She was such a strong young woman. Her meeting the MMC and the two of them together really brought this story into a beautiful venture with so many things taking place.
And the world building was so beautifully done. It was immersive and tantalizing. Pulling me even deeper into their world. The description was written with such vividness that I felt like i was right there in the middle of everything.
The twists and turns, the slams m suspense and the bit of spice was so well balanced. This collection had a depth that just kept me engaged and wanting to know more as I read along. Just a beautifully written collection. I had the most wonderful time reading this.

This was a good series. The first two books follow Iyana, a young healer from a remote village. One day, her village comes under attack and she calls to the stars for help. This sets off a chain reaction of events where she finds that she and a man she does not know, Emmeric, need to save humanity together.

Throughout the books additional characters are introduced and become a found family for Iyana and Emmeric. I really enjoyed the characters rounding out this little family like Kaz, Zane, and Talon.

The books feature some spice from different couples throughout. The spice was well written and not inserted at the expense of the plot.

In the third book, we get to have a prequel which shares the story of the original duo who saved humanity long before it was ever Iyana and Emmeric’s turn. Alessia and Theo’s story was also a really good one and I found Les (Alessia) to be an even more relatable and likable character than Iyana.

Thank you, , for this omnibus. I was so extremely excited for this.

Let’s dive right in. This book series is full of twists and turns and suspense. I devoured it. The world building was beautifully done, the romance was wonderful. It takes you through the book with Iyana, who is a village healer looking to save her village. She ends up looking to the stars for help. Altair is a fallen celestial star turned human sent to the FMC after Iyana prays to the stars for help for her village.

This book was full of ancient magic, love triangles, found family, and star daddy😆

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy of this series. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I really enjoyed this series. I loved the uniqueness of making stars the bad guys. The action was phenomenal and the story just kept on going! Each chapter ended with me wanting to keep going.
I left individual reviews on each book. I did think the second was better than the first but the whole story flowed so well and I love that she ended up with the right man ;)
I thought that the prequel was perfect as well. It answered a lot of questions about the origin of the Aztia and it was just fun to see the original fighting the original battle with the stars. I would definitely read more about this world!

Celestial Whispers Omnibus is 3 separate books, well technically 2 and a prequel. The prequel us last as it should be otherwise there would be significant spoilers for the main duet. The FMC is mostly likable but sometimes is definitely naive, we have two different MMCs one it always seemed like something wasn't being said and one where he may not be saying anything but his heart was on his sleeve. This was a different type of fantasy not so much in the fae or shifter realm but there are multiple old gods that seem almost like a call back to the Norse or Greek mythology. Definitely a long read to take these all together but of you start one you'll read all three.
