Beckham Strong walked away from a great city, a good job, and a decent relationship, because the call of his small hometown in the rural Pacific Northwest was too powerful to ignore. Now, he spends his days doing what he loves—guiding wilderness enthusiasts on adventure tours. And his nights . . . well, he spends those alone.
Collins Kingsley watched her dreams go up in smoke . . . literally.
When her hair salon, Posh Moments, burns to the ground, she’s left with a fistful of insurance money and no direction. On a whim, she decides to take a break from the big city and books a wilderness adventure. She likes trees. She likes mountains. She likes rivers. What could go wrong? Maybe nature doesn’t enjoy her as much as she enjoys nature. What could go right? Her wilderness adventure guide could be everything she never knew she wants in a man.
But his life is in the wilderness. Her life is in the city. Decisions. Decisions.
Alright now Tracy, with this adorable read! 😍 When Collins lost her shop, she lost a bit of herself too. What is she without Posh Moments? Needing time to think and decide her next move, she goes on a wilderness adventure of all things. What she doesn't know is that this trip will be life changing, and her biggest adventure yet.
Beckham loves his life in Pacific Northwest, and leading his tours makes him the happiest. But when the newest guest comes to the resort, she snatches his breath with her beauty, and he immediately wants to be in her presence. I loved how quickly Beckham and Collins built their rapport. It was friendly and flirty, while Beckham taught Collins about nature, and Collins enjoyed the lessons, when she wasn't being clumsy. 🤣 It only took a few days for them to become inseparable, but what happens when Collins' time is up?
Alisha's decision was a bit shocking for her girls, but good for her! That action put a fire under Collins, that allowed her to release her fear and follow her heart. 👍🏿👍🏿
(2.5⭐️)This was a cute little cozy read. The story moved very quickly and it feels like a lot of their relationship development happened off page, so I wish we had got to see more things actually happening and not just presented as after the facts. Moral of the story: Do it scared/Dont be afraid to change things up. Also not gonna lie but the story line with her mom and the mom’s love interest was a little weird for me (just a personal ick) lol.
I really loved them! I am a total hopeless romantic and it warmed my heart how they instantly followed the attraction and connection. Being connected so easily with someone feels like the most safest things ever. Feeling safe and at peace with another human is a beautiful thing. I need me a Beck and hopefully he comes with some land we can start our farm on lol Beautiful Ms. Tracy. 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I simply love the Kingsley girls and the Strong boys. I wished I would have read this book when it first dropped.
Beck and Coll are too cute. I knew they were going to hit it off at first sight. Coll was scared to dream and move until her mom made the decision. She knew that she wanted Beck, but was too scared to believe it.
This is definitely a feel good story. I can't wait to get Perkins story.
I truly enjoyed Beck and Collins' book. It gave a Hallmark vibe throughout the book, especially the fall festival and wilderness scenes. I also enjoyed the easy bond that formed between them. It was so natural and pure. This book had close-knit relationships, humor, and feel-good scenes. This book didn't disappoint so I highly recommend it.
Collins had to be the clumpiest person in the entire town. If Beckham said don’t she definitely did. This was such a sweet refreshing read. I enjoyed everything about this book. I would like to know more about the other sisters and Bayliss. This book is an example of life’s short and change is always necessary.
This book is absolutely fantastic. Beckham and Collins love them together. While reading this book, I couldn't help but burst out laughing. Honey Collins is a trip 😆. The banter between the two of them was so casual and natural. It was a pleasure reading your book 🥰.
There was no unnecessary drama and angst, just plenty of romance and feel good situations. A good man and a good woman found each other, treated each other well, respected each other, fell in love and thats that. The world is crazy enough. Thank you Tracy Gray for providing a much needed escape.
I loved this so much. I loved the resort and wish it were a real place so I could go and bask in all there is to do. I loved the instant connection between the main charcters and loved the side characters too. I truly enjoyed this quick read.
I love men in this story. Strong, respectful, and protective with good looks! I love the women who are intelligent, sensitive, and strong! Black Love at it's finest!! I hope you revisit Jackson Falls and the other brothers!!! LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
I love a quick slow burn. I didn’t like that she was 36 and had to wait for her momma to make that obviously easy decision for her. Even if they didn’t workout that was the perfect place to start fresh.
Loved the story and the family dynamic. I understand that is is hard to change because I am terrified of change but I’m glad the ladies followed their hearts.
