Maybe he'd even turn her in to his father, the Alpha, who would kill her just like he'd killed her own brother. But she had to do it. She had to find him.
Of course, Ciaran's reaction wasn't the biggest of Lila's worries. After all, in order to even see his reaction, she had to first venture into his territory...and if there's one thing that the Hayton wolves hated more than anything, it was the presence of a rival Yurval wolf on their land.
