Tarot in Everything: 78 Tarot Poems

Rate this book
BEFORE THE TAROT DEFINED OUR DECISIONS, IT WAS DEFINED BY HUMANS.
We spend countless hours applying tarot definitions and meanings to our lives, attempting to draw the connection between our experiences and the cards. But it is possible to do the inverse — tarot is just as defined by us as we are defined by it. In Tarot in Everything, Lexi Hideko offers life-rooted, refreshed "tarot definitions" for all 78 cards and 4 suits.

As a beginner with tarot, I lean on guidebooks when I read my cards. What I love about Lexi Hideko’s “tarot in everything” is how she reimagines the cards through poetry. Each poem has a story that deepened my reading, and it felt intimate, creative.

I read her book with curiosity and joy, and I know I’ll keep returning to her tarot poems as a companion whenever I pull cards. Her tarot poems add a layer of reflection that makes my readings more grounded, more insightful.

This book feels like a quiet conversation with the tarot rather than a guidebook. Each poem mirrors the essence of its card in a way that is subtle, emotional, and deeply intuitive. Instead of explaining tarot, Lexi Hideko embodies it, weaving meaning into everyday moments, feelings, grief, love, and transformation.

The poems are spare and intentional, leaving space for reflection. I found myself pausing often, rereading lines, pulling cards alongside certain poems, and letting the words sit in my body rather than my brain. This is a book that works beautifully as a daily pull companion or something to open to at random when you need grounding or clarity.

What I appreciated most is how accessible this feels. You do not need to be an expert tarot reader to connect with it, but if you are, the layers feel especially rich. The Major Arcana poems carry weight and evolution, while the Minor Arcana gently remind you that magic lives in routine, conflict, joy, and choice.

This is not a loud or dramatic book. It is soft, observant, and deeply human. Perfect for tarot lovers, poets, and anyone who believes meaning shows up everywhere if you are paying attention.

stunning

Would buy again and again and again. I hope she writes more installments, or just writes more, in general. I’m already longing for more!
