One for Sorrow is a gripping and atmospheric start to Raegan Teller’s Cody Hart series. The mystery pulls you in right away as private investigator Cody Hart arrives in a tight-knit mountain town to search for a missing Cherokee girl. The story is full of small-town secrets, emotional depth, and just the right amount of suspense. Teller does an excellent job creating a vivid sense of place, and Cody is a strong, believable protagonist you root for from the start.
A compelling blend of tension, heart, and mystery — I couldn’t put it down. Highly recommend!
