I was given an ARC of this book and I enjoyed it. I especially liked the magical elements and Violet's determination to do the right thing.

Power hungry villains chase Violet for her talents, wanting to use them for even more power. Has she found a sanctuary or will the hounds soon find her? Violet finds further information about her lineage...is it true? Not sure where to go next, the threats aren't far behind.

Well-written with plenty of action, tension and suspense.

Engaging and recommended.

A good read, but I noticed there are 12 books in the series and I don't want to have to read all 12 books so I'm stopping the series.
